I hate it when you’ve just got invested in new characters and then all The Faithful are sucked up to heaven and/or die and are reincarnated instantly and then 7 years of tribulation happens. It interrupts the flow.

positive · AI labelView post →As an avid book-collector, I’m incredibly happy 😁 Originally the Of Blood and Bone trilogy was written as a separate series to The Faithful and the Fallen, but in hindsight I like to see them together as The Banished Lands Saga.
positive · AI labelView post →Gotta introduce Storm to Bluesky! Named after the wolf cub from this book series - The Faithful and the Fallen. She is a bookpup! 🐶
neutral · AI labelView post →Gonna be the one who says: I think if they all had the hunch that the Traitors couldn't be all white, then you're doubly screwed this series if you're not a white person, because the actual Traitors knows that they're all white and the Faithful do the usual "Who is The Ethnic Traitor?" #TheTraitors
neutral · AI labelView post →The Faithful are so hopeless in this series of #TheTraitors they’ll nominate Claudia to be banished
neutral · AI labelView post →Today I received from @thebrokenbinding.bsky.social my copies of Malice and Valour from @johngwynneauthor.bsky.social 's The Faithful and the Fallen series and they are gorgeous! Thank you @petrikleo.bsky.social and all the team, it has been an absolute pleasure drawing this map for you and John 😊
neutral · AI labelView post →The fact that Elendil only mentions Anárion and not Amandil when telling Míriel about the Faithful in Andúnië makes me fear we won't get Amandil in the show and tbh it would upset me A LOT
neutral · AI labelView post →Fox Channel has a new series called The Faithful Women of the Bible with all White actors. Would Christians watch that program if all of the actors were Middle Eastern? 🤔

neutral · AI labelView post →#AntagonistApril This will happen later in the series but eventually the Faithful are going to start asking themselves: hey what happens if we baptize more than one person in the same Lazarus Pit Coffin? What if we throw animals in there? That’s how you’re going to get Angels It will not be pretty
neutral · AI labelView post →I am so happy I got around to reading Malice by John Gwynne (2012) Book 1 of 4 of the Faithful and the Fallen series. The writing has an addictive quality to it. It’s epic fantasy that hits on many themes and tropes, but it never takes its eye off great characters. 5/5 On to book 2!!! #booksky
positive · AI labelView post →Poor Jade though. She's spent all series defending herself, and now looks like she'll be a sacrifice on behalf of both the Faithful and #TheTraitors...
neutral · AI labelView post →This might actually be the first series of the show where the Faithful aren’t actually a bunch of bumbling fools #TheTraitors
neutral · AI labelView post →The Celebrity Traitors is SUCH a good season of this show!? Like, the Traitors are so good, and the Faithful are actually really trying but have so little to work with.
neutral · AI labelView post →There are 3 codes in Chinese localization. it's called "Faithful, Expressive, Elegance". Some Chinese translators focus on elegance part, they even alter the original content, just to show off how good their Chinese skills are. But we don't. We focus on the Faithful part. #indiegame #indiedev
neutral · AI labelView post →Read and LOVED The Bloodsworn Trilogy by John Gwynne and now I'm extremely excited to jump into The Faithful and the Fallen series.
positive · AI labelView post →October will see me diving back into some ongoing series. Book eight of The Wheel of Time, Path of Daggers, The Dresden Files book six, Blood Rites and book 3 of The Faithful and the Fallen, Ruin. I cannot wait to inhabit these worlds once again.
positive · AI labelView post →If you watch the Traitors and root for or want the Faithful to win or be smart etc then you are not watching the show correctly lol. The Faithful ALWAYS deserve to lose. In fact 99% of the time the Faithful are the worst part of the show lol #TheTraitorsUS
neutral · AI labelView post →Greatest ep of #TraitorsUS so far - Gabi’s round table performance was insane. Don’t know how the Faithful do this from this position but I’m rooting for them. Danielle is an incredible villain, the stuff of reality TV show legend.
neutral · AI labelView post →I read The Faithful and the Fallen series by John Gwynne earlier this year, and it's one that has stuck with me. Ruin (book 3) was my favorite.
positive · AI labelView post →#MayWorldbuilders The series. The Faithful however all speak ecclesiastical Latin. This is for two reasons: first Belator wanted every wedge possible between his vanguard and the Alliance, and second, the Faithful consider it the pure language of God.
neutral · AI labelView post →#QueerPrompts At some point during the series it will come up that Mary doesn’t actually know when her birthday is because the Faithful don’t celebrate women’s birthdays (because they’re sexist c*nts), which will lead to the biggest birthday bash the party can throw wherever they are. #WriteSky
neutral · AI labelView post →This signed art card of Corban/Storm (illustrated by Sam White) from The Faithful & the Fallen series is my precious! Thank you @johngwynneauthor.bsky.social & @tomunro.bsky.social for sending If you haven’t read this series, please do! Don’t blame me for the emotional trauma though, blame John 🤣
positive · AI labelView post →Only problem with #CelebrityTraitors is the Faithful are so useless we might go through the entire series without seeing what happens when a Traitor gets banished. I don't know if that's happened before but it would be a bit of an anticlimax.
neutral · AI labelView post →O.M.G…. Did NOT see this coming. Wow. the Faithful & the Fallen. Book 3 in the bag. Onto the final book in the series. 💙📚 🪐📚

unlabelledView post →My god I hate these people. What a twist this series making the biggest villains the Faithful. Absolute fucking greedy thick nasty bastards. #TheTraitors
unlabelledView post →I hope the Faithful aren't as useless as they were in series 1 of The Celebrity Traitors 🕵️.
unlabelledView post →Also, Jeffrey Donovan, from Burn Notice and two seasons of Law & Order as the not-woke cop with a heart of gold, is in The Faithful: Women of the Bible as Abraham and barely disguises his Massachusetts accent, so now I wish everyone in this Bible show has a Massachusetts accent.
unlabelledView post →Good morning, Womble! I’m into the second volume of a John Gwynne series that’s been on my shelves, unread, for years. The series name is The Faithful and the Fallen and the second volume is Valor. Very good series so far. And two more fat volumes to go after this one!
unlabelledView post →The Faithful started to work this out in the last series of the US version.

unlabelledView post →Just finished Malice by John Gwynne the first of the Faithful and the Fallen series. I enjoyed it and it ended up being really good, but the first 50% of the book was really slow going. One other note, the audiobook was a little hard to follow because of the similarity of the characters names.
unlabelledView post →The Faithful and the Fallen series has been on my TBR for a long time, and I’ve seen so many amazing reviews about it, that I had high hopes for it. #bookquotes #booklover #fantasybooks #JohnGwynne
unlabelledView post →Post 30 book series you’ve read to completion #BookChallenge (Nobody said I had to do it all within a month so 🤫) Day 11: The Faithful and The Fallen tetralogy by John Gwynne. Finished this on a bus & spent the remaining two hours of that trip staring out the window in silence🥲

unlabelledView post →Fair! I just find it a much more fun show when a Traitor wins, bc the Faithful are always either dumb or annoying (or both)
unlabelledView post →John Gwynne's brilliant The Faithful and the Fallen series consists of four terrific books. Let's go over the series and rank each volume.
unlabelledView post →And kept the reveals in the endgame too. So much better than the secrecy of the last UK/US series which only benefits the Traitors in a game where the odds are already stacked against the Faithful.
unlabelledView post →Going to check this John Gwynne series The Faithful and the Fallen out next… 🪐📚

unlabelledView post →Curious to know…what is the book or series you just can’t wait to read? I’ve just started my Brandon Sanderson journey so obviously The Stormlight Archives for me, but I also cannot wait to read The Faithful and The Fallen series and The Locked Tomb Series!
unlabelledView post →I anticipate a run explosion from the Padres tonight to send the series back to Milwaukee. Where the Padres will move on to the NLCS. I visualize the Padres lifting the trophy. For the Faithful! #GoPads
unlabelledView post →If the Faithful this series are remotely typical, Richard E. Grant will win.
unlabelledView post →Yeah, as much as I ofc want to see her and Elendil together again, I much rather they give her a proper story, and seeing her as an inside agent against Pharazôn's regime would've been one. Still, I can still be happy if they show her leading the Faithful in the west and they do it right.
unlabelledView post →John Gwynne is one of my absolute favorite authors as a fantasy nerd. Malice is a great book that picks up in the first 100 pages or so, and I love that series (The Faithful and the Fallen) and the follow up trilogy so much!
unlabelledView post →I should finally get around to watching that show… but yeah, the Faithful do not hide the fact that they believe themselves superior to everyone around them, despite the wonders the Alliance has achieved and the comparative squalor they live in…
unlabelledView post →Speaking of weird (IMO) roles to take on, did you know that Minnie Driver is in a mini-series called “The Faithful: Women of the Bible”?
unlabelledView post →Currently loving anything by John Gwynne; "The Faithful and the Fallen" series, just finished its follow-up series "Of Blood and Bone" or "The Bloodsworn Saga"; lots of sword and sorcery action, very Norse coded
unlabelledView post →"The Faithful Women of the Bible" is the #2 series in the country, Disney+? I'm calling bullshit on that, unless there's a lot of nudity?
unlabelledView post →Enjoyed dramatic rendering of life of Sarah and Abraham (Genesis) last night in the Faithful: Women of the Bible series on Fox television (local airwaves). Minnie Driver, as usual, was really beautiful (would certainly have motivated me to engage in nation building).
unlabelledView post →I started @johngwynneauthor.bsky.social The Faithful & The Fallen series on 12th Jan & I've basically neglected my usual exercising / cooking / everything else so I could finish all 4 books, because they were so excellent. Cried a few times. Swore a few times. Just fantastic storytelling. #Booksky
unlabelledView post →I find it hard to read the show that way. It’s (almost) impossible for the Faithful to get any kind of traction. The smarter play (for a Faithful) is to become anonymous and focus on survival. If you suspect a Traitor keep keep them close and keep it yourself.
