And we are doing a gothic horror, but we play lovers. Sorry, guys. It's really weird for all of us."

neutral · AI labelView post →I recently spoke with Natasha Kermani about the film 'The Dreadful', which is a rare example of a period piece making an effort to get inside a different historical mentality (though probably doomed to be judged mainly on its use of 'Game of Thrones' stars). www.eyeforfilm.co.uk/feature/2026...

Our debut series will cover Frankenstein, the classic horror story from the mind of Mary Shelley. We'll trace how this story has been told across 95 years, one movie at a time.
neutral · AI labelView post →The Dreadful I may love a gothic horror movie and while this may have the atmosphere down along with good acting from Harington and Turner, the writing and horror is rather boring to sit through and it stayed that way throughout the runtime which is a shame

neutral · AI labelView post →Watched: The Dreadful 🍿 Beautifully shot. Ultimately disappointing. Plays like a slow burn, but lacks a solid payoff, gives away the twist way too early, and doesn’t really earn its creepy aesthetic. Very lovely to look at, though. #movies #review https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/1242937
