The Bank Job
Terry is a small-time car dealer trying to leave his shady past behind and start a family. Martine is a beautiful model from Terry's old neighbourhood who knows that Terry is no angel. When Martine proposes a foolproof plan to rob a bank, Terry recognises the danger but realises this may be the opportunity of a lifetime. From TMDB

Movie Madness, it’s a nonprofit and museum now (they have the head from Alien, the Chu dog from citizen Kane, the money from firefly’s The Bank Job, one of the Maltese falcon statues, AND one of Edison’s original film projectors!)
unlabelledView post →Besides a lot of the good recs you’ve already received: Inside Man The Bank Job Also: not quite a heist movie, but Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid has several heists as plot points

unlabelledView post →I contend the best Jason Statham movie is "Crank." Followed by The Transporter, Spy, and The Bank Job. That most of them aren't CGI slop is a testament to his choices.

unlabelledView post →Er det ikke bare at tage hele lortet? Beekeeper er en fin film. Og ellers må The Bank Job og Transporter filmene være et must.

unlabelledView post →Ok dinner tv WAS The Bank Job (2008) and within 30 seconds i realized we watched it pretty recently AND it wasn't a fun heist movie, so we have pivoted to The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) which I adore
unlabelledView post →The Bank Job just starting on Sky One. A rare good Jason Statham film with no suspect cod-American accent.
unlabelledView post →The Bank Job, too. The wry comedy in that made it rewatchable and fun, way better than a straightforward heist movie would have been.
unlabelledView post →Counting only movies where Statham plays the main character: 1. SNATCH 2. WRATH OF MAN 3. THE BANK JOB (massively underrated movie) 4. CRANK and CRANK: HIGH VOLTAGE 5. THE TRANSPORTER
unlabelledView post →If you’ve never seen The Bank Job it’s Statham in a (fact based) heist movie played straight (no Wick or Transporter elevated violence) and he’s great in it
unlabelledView post →I started it and I think I thought it was good enough but stopped and didn’t return yet for some reason The Bank Job is totally worth a watch, it starts out as the perfect movie
unlabelledView post →So far The Bank Job (2008) is the perfect movie. It opens with a variety of breasts in different situations including those of a woman being pleasured by a man and a woman. Interspersed with Jason Statham & digs on Cops, Government, and Royals. Then breaking into a bank

unlabelledView post →Yep. I watch every Statham movie. Some of them repeatedly. And when he does take a break from pure ass-kicking, in something like The Bank Job, he still nails it.
unlabelledView post →The Bank Job. I saw the movie for the first time on its opening day. I happen to be walking past a local theater and decided to see the movie. Because of its premise, I thought I would like The Bank Job. However, I ended up loving it. I enjoyed the movie far more than I thought I would.

I decided to see the movie on a whim because I thought I would like it. I ended up enjoying it far more than I thought I would.

unlabelledView post →Watched the Bank Job last night - a pretty good raunchy romp, but it never gelled for me. It juggles a lot of balls, for my money it split the focus of the movie a bit too much. A mishmash of 2ks Ritchie & mafia Scorcese, its plenty ok.
unlabelledView post →I am a heist film junkie, and the 00s really have been packed with great flicks. One glaring omission from this list: Inside Man. Spike crushed it, totally rewatchable. Also dug The Lookout, Flawless, The Brothers Bloom, and The Bank Job. www.slashfilm.com/629574/the-g...
unlabelledView post →Crank 2 probably for me as well, but I love The Bank Job. And while it’s not his movie, he’s absolutely the best part of Spy
unlabelledView post →That English movie, The Bank Job, was bloody awful.
unlabelledView post →The Transporter(my first Statham film), The Bank Job, Wrath if Man, The Beekeeper and The Mechanic. Wrath of Man was so violent and The Beekeeper was kind of silly. It’s fun watching him be Jason Statham. Some day I’ll watch Lock, Stock and Smoking Barrels (Guy Ritchie) which is more highly rated.

unlabelledView post →Based on a true story, Jason Statham does his usual as struggling car dealer "Terry" who is alerted to an opportunity to get rich quick by "Martine" (Saffron Burrows). She knows that a safety deposit box facility is going to be without it's alarm systems for a week or so and therefore if they can assemble a skilful team and... yes, think "League of Gentlemen" (1960) only with tunnelling. Now "Terry" doesn't really stop to answer the obvious question - where did "Martine" get this information?…
neutral · AI labelView post →The Bank Job appears to be a face-paced exciting robbery and espionage film. While those things did take place, it was long, slow, and not as flashy as hoped. With Jason Statham as the lead, I expected The Bank Job to have fight scenes and car chases. It did not. Compared to other Statham flicks, The Bank Job was slow-paced and more dramatic than action-focused. Some of the pacing results from the story being based on an actual bank robbery in 1971. As intriguing as that is, it also made the…
