The Aristocats
When Madame Adelaide Bonfamille leaves her fortune to Duchess and her children—Bonfamille’s beloved family of cats—the butler plots to steal the money and kidnaps the legatees, leaving them out on a country road. All seems lost until the wily Thomas O’Malley Cat and his jazz-playing alley cats come to the aristocats’ rescue. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →The LLM lied. Those aren't quotes from Lion King, Pinocchio, Pocahontas, Aristocats, or Winnie the Pooh. (Christopher Robin did say that, but not in that specific movie. And it's not particularly antifa either) Also, Dr Dawson isn't from the Aristocats. He's from Great Mouse Detective, and didn't say the line there either.
unlabelledView post →I've suggested all the classics, like The Aristocats and Puss in Boots, but the cat's favourite movie title remains There Will Be Blood.
unlabelledView post →The Aristocats has been on heavy repeat lately. It is not a great Disney film, but a quiet, soft one. There are ports of comfort in these films, a similar one happens in Oliver and Company. Points of rest, soft pauses in old places. Rests between points of action. We all seek cozy beds.
unlabelledView post →Ever rewatch a movie years later and find out it's totally different than you remembered? I'm 30 minutes into "The Aristocats" on Disney+ and no one has even told the joke once yet.

Cinemas smelt bad in the early 80’s. Well, a different bad. The Aristocats
unlabelledView post →Good ears! Phil Harris did the voice for both Baloo in the original animated movie and Little John in Disney's Robin Hood. He also voiced O'Malley in The Aristocats.

unlabelledView post →It's nearly Halloween, and you know what scares me? Thinking about scenarios that occur AFTER the end of a film. Like 'The Aristocats' for example. Funny kids film yeah? Sort of, don't get me started on the aftermath 👇
unlabelledView post →I watched The Aristocats with a friend yesterday and while it was a very nothing movie with not a lot of songs, the "Everybody Wants to be a Cat" and "Thomas O'Malley Cat" songs are so good they've been in my head since yesterday
unlabelledView post →"It's movie night and we're watching The Aristocats and you are not invited, sorry (not sorry)."
unlabelledView post →I also draw sometimes. This comic was inspired by the Aristocats but sometimes I also sketch my WoL and his family. (yeah the lines are taken straight from the movie, and it is Zoraal Ja, Wuk Lamat and Koana)
unlabelledView post →sick of anti-cat propaganda in every animated movie or show I've ever seen. I know the Aristocats but that's a one-off against every other Disney property. The only heroic cat is from Shrek, and Puss in Boots wasn't even their original character
unlabelledView post →I didn't believe it so I did what any sane creature would do: I went to Disney Plus, popped The Aristocats on and changed the language. Turns out the Swedish version of this beloved childhood movie features a lot of slutty references...
unlabelledView post →I enjoy the Aristocats song, but points are deducted for the racist yellowface bit that's in the movie version; let's hear it for "Bibbiidi!"
unlabelledView post →#TavQOTD Modern AU - "guilty pleasure" movie Darius is a complete sucker for The Aristocats. He puts it on when he needs a little pick-me-up and comfort, with both his cats on his lap. Astarion bullied him a little for it, but quickly changed his mind. #Durge
unlabelledView post →I also like how when a kid was a voice actor, they sounded like a damn kid, mistakes and all. The Aristocats comes to mind, the song Scales and Arpeggios is a great example. I hate hearing weird robotic kids who are flawless or its clear they edited the shit out of a dozen takes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khvaIwonxUk&t=8
unlabelledView post →#TavQOTD Modern setting, favorite movie With his love for cats and cat-like creatues, I think The Aristocats would be right up Darius' alley. There's been enough blood and violence in his life, he craves something sweet and fluffy. #Durge
unlabelledView post →#TavQOTD Modern AU - fave movie The Aristocats and soapy B-quality Hallmark love movies. Darius has been through enough abuse and violence (also in this AU), he craves something fluffy. #Durge

unlabelledView post →to answer this question specifically- yes, I did like things that were 30 years old, such as the classic disney movie The Aristocats and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
unlabelledView post →1) my nickname irl since toddlerhood has been Goose! Partly bc of the Aristocats movie, partly because a goose bit my lip when I was like 2 lol. My parents still call me Goosie as much as my actual name! That’s why my OG sona’s named goose! :3 (Left is current design, right from 2012!)
unlabelledView post →I saw the Aristocats when I was on a vintage Disney movie spree. So I drew her anthro, pregnant and giving birth.
unlabelledView post →Today I discovered the German animated feature FELIDAE (1994): a gorgeously drawn riff on film noir that becomes a pretty intense political allegory about fascist eugenics — more WATERSHIP DOWN than THE ARISTOCATS!
unlabelledView post →The first Disney film I ever saw was The Aristocats. The VHS tape I own is from March 1995. While I have it beat (June '93) as does the wife (September '94), this tape is actually older than most of the friends I talk to on a near daily basis. Not gonna lie, that's a bit scary...
unlabelledView post →Frankie Howerd's theme song for the 1971 Up Pompeii feature film, the 10th most popular film at the British box office that year. The Aristocats took top slot, with the On the Buses movie in second place. What a time to be alive!
unlabelledView post →The smartass lead of Felidae cracks early on that this isn't The Aristocats, and given the film's action starts with the discovery of a cat corpse with its throat ripped out, he's right. This is Kitty Giallo, and its got some stuff on its mind about animal cruelty. My review: #horror #animation

unlabelledView post →i'm watch The Aristocats and its kind of impressive how they managed to set a movie in 1910 Paris without anyone even trying to do a French accent. also it's very fun to repeat random lines in a classic "is ok, my family is quebecois, I'm allowed to do this" accent
