Teen Titans Go! To the Movies
All the major DC superheroes are starring in their own films, all but the Teen Titans, so Robin is determined to remedy this situation by getting over his role as a sidekick and becoming a movie star. Thus, with a few madcap ideas and an inspirational song in their hearts, the Teen Titans head to Hollywood to fulfill their dreams. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →Teen Titans Go! To the Movies is a hilarious movie as-is, but seeing it in the theater with your 6-year-old kid when this final line hits was incredible. My wife and I were cracking up, but I heard so many other parents groan. (And yes, our kid absolutely took Robin's advice.)

Before I put this decade to bed, a quick mention for the #Superman from The Lego Batman Movie (voiced by Channing Tatum) and #Superman from Teen Titans GO! to the Movies (voiced by Nic Cage). Didn’t watch either, but both are great Supes in great movies.

unlabelledView post →According to Wikipedia's list of what constitutes a superhero film, it's a toss up for me between The Princess Bride, The Super Mario Bros. Movie (1993), Red Sonja, and Highlander. If it has to be a DC or Marvel property, then I'd say either Constantine or Teen Titans Go! to the Movies.

unlabelledView post →You know what movie was diabolicaly good, Teen Titans Go to the Movies. It had me dying and crying of laughter and is the only movie to pull a literal meta Stan Lee gag with Stan Lee and it ain’t a Marvel movie
unlabelledView post →256. Teen Titans Go! To the Movies. I think this might be the funniest superhero movie to date. It takes the wackiness of the (excellent) TV show, and dials it up, with very silly songs, some great comedy, and one of the great Stan Lee cameos. Yes, in a DC film. #365films
unlabelledView post →Happy 8th anniversary to Teen Titans GO! To the Movies, based on the Cartoon Network TV series of the same name. This was the first and only time Stan Lee, the creator of many iconic Marvel characters, appeared in a DC movie. He passed away four months after the film’s release.
