Studio 666
Legendary rock band Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their much anticipated 10th album. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →Movie thoughts for the week: - THE MUMMY may be bad, but it’s great if you dislike Cruise because he gets the ever living shit kicked out of him throughout - STUDIO 666 had a mediocre plot and amateur actors, but they spent their budget on quality kills #LetterboxdFriday #Filmsky #LastFourWatched
unlabelledView post →Being sensible and sitting down, hot chocolate and a film. Studio 666 with the Foo Fighters sounds like perfect, poorly, duvet snuggling, watching.
unlabelledView post →Today's movie was Studio 666 and honestly it was a tonic. None of the band can act, they're all having the BEST time, the gore is cheerily OTT, there's a John Carpenter cameo and I think it's technically part of a beloved franchise. Loved it to pieces:)

Movies such as Studio 666 would fit in here. What do you all think and can you think of other films that would fit? #Horror #Slashers
unlabelledView post →Movie: Studio 666 (Peacock) Hey remember when Dave Grohl had an affair and everyone on the internet lost their shit as if he cheated on them? Anyway, this movie is pretty mid, but as a fan of the Foo, I enjoyed it plenty enough! #filmsky #horrorsky #musicsky
unlabelledView post →youtu.be/tbSz_hKUGio?... from the Foo Fighters alternate ego from the movie Studio 666.. I used this tune to help me beat the valkyries on God of War.. just epic riffage 🖤🎶🤘
unlabelledView post →#HorrorWritersChat question 3: “The Band” is just like “Studio 666” except it’s not a movie, there’s not any satanic artifacts, and it’s not a comedy. Also no Foo Fighters…
unlabelledView post →Film night last night, got about 20 minutes into Studio 666 and had to bail, it was SO bad. Then watched Hell House LLC from 2015 and was shocked at how great it is. First horror film in a long time that's actually creeped me out, showed just enough and didn't overdo it.

unlabelledView post →At the rate I'm going it's gonna take me a bajillion years to get there, but I have an arc planned out for my current WIP that is inspired by my general love for haunted house stories and specifically the movie Studio 666. But also the setting is generally horror inspired
unlabelledView post →It was the best movie to watch during a pandemic. I think its better than Studio 666, which had 10x the budget.

unlabelledView post →Studio 666. Randomly replace characters with muppets scene by scene, slowly at first but escalating as the movie gets crazier
unlabelledView post →I love these guys. Not necessarily their music, although it's not bad. But them. And this movie, I've never heard of it but I think I'm gonna watch it soon Studio 666 A Foo Fighters horror film.
unlabelledView post →Horror movie a day in October: Studio 666 I’m a casual Foo Fighters fan. And like me, Dave Grohl spent his formative years at Springfield Mall. So there’s that connection. But this film was made for hardcore Foo Fighters fans, and really, no one else. So I didn’t like it. But maybe you will? 👎
unlabelledView post →#CivilGoreHMC9 (Tim) Movie #10 - STUDIO 666 (2022) Goofy but fun Foo Fighters movie with some great gore. Claimed objectives 3, 8, 21, & 32.
unlabelledView post →We liked it, first one was still the best one. My son & I just watched the Dave Grohl movie Studio 666 😂 Have you watched it?
unlabelledView post →Watching the Foo Fighters horror movie, Studio 666. Worst Scooby-Doo spinoff ever!
unlabelledView post →Got an early Father's Day gift this week my wife gave me the Blu-Ray Studio 666, I'm a big #FooFighters fan so yes I've wanted to see this film, finally watched it last night, it was pretty good, Dave Grohl wrote a pretty damn good screenplay & was surprised to find out Jenna Ortega had a small role
unlabelledView post →Bad horror movie update: Studio 666. Starring the Foo Fighters. Some creative kills of the Foos. And watching Pat Smear (a fave when he was with Germs) act is a funny experience. The Lionel Ritchie cameo is first rate. Surreal, terrible, but a fun watch.
unlabelledView post →This week we cover a film picked by our sound engineer @sierrarein.bsky.social - Studio 666! Starring Foo Fighters as themselves, the band gets more than they bargained for when recording their new album! What's your favorite movie where a band plays themselves? www.buzzsprout.com/104713/episo...
unlabelledView post →18. Studio 666 (2022) Kitsch horror comedy with the Foo Fighters, who are a bit uneven as screen actors. Pat Smear is the weakest link, having decent line delivery but just doesn't act well with his face. Nothing special, but it has its moments.
unlabelledView post →#31DayHorrorChallenge Day 19: Possessed: Studio 666 Here's the thing, like Straight to Hell, great musicians don't necessarily make great actors, but can have an entertaining film. The only thing I could have asked for would be a post-credits Tenacious D stealing the MacGuffin gag. #MutantFam
unlabelledView post →If I hadn't seen Studio 666 this would be the worst film I saw so far this year
unlabelledView post →Urgh, watched the Foo Fighters "attempt" at a "horror" "movie" last night, Studio 666. So bored. So shit. So very fucking bored and shit, and everything about it has made me LOATH it. Like...it got a 1/10 grad on Trakt, that's how bad.
unlabelledView post →Checking out that Studio 666 Foo Fighters movie. Seems a suitable film for a Friday night.
unlabelledView post →What was Studio 666 like? Can’t take a film starring the Foo Fighters entirely seriously…
unlabelledView post →Kind of a deep cut, but Dave Grohl made a full death metal record under the name Dream Widow as a tie-in with STUDIO 666 (the slasher horror movie starring the Foo Fighters) a few years ago, and it’s ridiculously good
unlabelledView post →dude. not only are Foo Fighters on this playlist MULTIPLE times, but they EVEN included a song by the fictional metal band from the fucking Foo Fighters horror movie Studio 666 this is a playlist after my own heart
unlabelledView post →Every month, we get together with friends for a movie night. This month, it was our turn to host, and the movie was Studio 666. I was the only one who had seen it, and it was great to see everyone else enjoying it for the first time. #movienight🎬 #westmanor #studio666 @robinblankenship.bsky.social
unlabelledView post →You can really tell that the band’s experiences from making all of those great music videos over the years really paid off b/c the acting in this is better than some of the movies with actual professional actors we’ve had on #CultShelf #Studio666
unlabelledView post →Vale's favorite spooky movie is either the Witch (for quality reasons), Alien (for nostalgia/queer reasons), or Studio 666 (because it's kind of bad in a funny way)
unlabelledView post →Studio 666 is a movie made with the joy and energy of a bunch of teenage boys staying in a cabin for a weekend with a camcorder, but instead of teenage boys it's the Foo Fighters with a multi-million dollar budget, and it's still very endearing!
unlabelledView post →Just watched Studio 666 and I LOVED it! It's a good horror movie for #metal fans and it has one of the most gnarly kills I've seen in #horror .
unlabelledView post →Studio 666 was actually good. Kinda b movie good but had a lot of charm and was better than it deserved to be. This was just dire and confused

unlabelledView post →21. Scary movie recs - The Witch was really good. Watch Good Boy recently; it wasn't very scary imo but I did like the novelty of it being from the dog's perspective. REPO is not really a scary movie but I think it's seasonally appropriate. And I have a special place in my heart for Studio 666.
