unlabelledView post →I beg your pardon, the movie about the gay guys on the mountain is Star Trek V
unlabelledView post →Amusingly, this is one reason why Star Trek V is only mediocre, rather than awful. Paramount got Harve Bennett to hack 15mins of fluff from Shatner's film to get it back to a 1hr40 runtime.

unlabelledView post →Take the wrong lesson from a movie: Star Trek V: The Final Frontier When traveling to meet and / or kill God, bring a second starship. Dude might try to jack your ride.
unlabelledView post →Vice Press is back with their next #StarTrek movie poster restoration, this time it's Matt Ferguson's remaster of STAR TREK V: THE FINAL FRONTIER key art! Up for sale at Vice-Press.com on May 6.
unlabelledView post →"This is the ill-fated “Rockman” from Star Trek V. Legend has it that William Shatner wanted ten of these guys battling it out at the end of the film, the budget only allowed for one. And this is it the animatronic head anyway. unlabelledView post →This is an echo chamber, so I know we all already agree that Star Trek V is, let’s say, not the best Star Trek movie. But Shatner does absolutely crush the line “what does God need with a starship?”
unlabelledView post →I know Star Trek V gets a (deservedly) bad rap but this scene continues to be one of my favorite movie moments of all time. youtu.be/2iQvFEcm7Hk?...
unlabelledView post →A film pretty much universally disliked… but you love it anyway? I’ll start with Star Trek V The Final Frontier. Iffy effects aside it’s a great flick and probably the closest to TOS in vibe. Plus… that Goldsmith score is FIRE. “What does God need with a starship?”
unlabelledView post →Star Trek V isn't a good movie. But it's not a bad movie either. It's entertaining, fun, the score is fantastic and there are some incredible scenes and acting in it.
unlabelledView post →Add a food to a movie title Star Trek V Dollar Footlong
unlabelledView post →4. There are only three Star Trek films I would genuinely call “bad” and Star Trek V is not one of them. But by far, the worst Star Trek film - hell, I’d say Star Trek *anything* - is Star Trek: Into Darkness. Just a bitter, misguided, incredibly poorly conceived film from top to bottom. Thanks, JJ
unlabelledView post →Up to Star Trek: The Motion Picture in my Star Trek rewatch. The Slow Motion Picture, Where Nomad Had Gone Before, and all that. And yet, I still have a fondness for this film, as it along with Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, were my introduction to Star Trek
unlabelledView post →I’m going to talk STAR TREK V with @weinberg.social. Because why does God need a starship? This movie is Good, Actually, and I am here to fight for it.
unlabelledView post →We watched Star Trek V The Final Frontier last night, which is a great movie about the enduring love between three old men 😍
unlabelledView post →What’s your unpopular Star Trek opinion? Mine: Star Trek V: The Final Frontier was a good and fun movie and maybe some people only disagree because they like the "odd movies bad" meme.
unlabelledView post →probably STAR TREK V. it kind of happened in real time, being psyched about it, thinking I was watching a good movie, having that feeling fade, learning afterwards that the consensus was, stinky-poo-poo.
unlabelledView post →Finishing STAR TREK V. I think a lot of folks on Letterboxd, based on new films they give two stars, don’t really know what a bad film is.
unlabelledView post →Star Trek V is both the worst original series Star Trek film and the most sincerely original series-inspired Star Trek film. Kirk travels to the center of the galaxy to win a debate against God! A dude takes over the Enterprise by stealing away the crew's sadness!
unlabelledView post →Some might argue with me, but I feel that “Star Trek V: The Final Frontier” is the best #StarTrek movie directed by William Shatner.
unlabelledView post →Today I learned the same actor played these two characters in Star Trek TOS and the movie Star Trek V The Final Frontier 😲🖖🏻💜
unlabelledView post →"Spock! — aren't you supposed to be dead?" "I rebooted!" Ah, yes... Star Trek V, the film where Spock famously returns from the dead.
unlabelledView post →8. Star Trek V has 3 good scenes, thus making it a good movie, this is called the Star Trek V ruling (seriously the part where Sarek turns away from his newborn son saying "I never thought he'd look so...human" is an all timer Trek moment)
unlabelledView post →Ooh, how 'bout STAR TREK V? Not that the film was THAT terrible (its awfulness is I think wildly overrated), but I suspect the problems it did have may have been smoothed over by Peter David's script for the comic.
unlabelledView post →I keep saying to myself out loud, “there is no bad Star Trek there is no bad Star Trek there is no bad Star Trek” but it’s not working. I’m a completist so I am compelled to finish this movie. All I can say is, Star Trek V is having a really good day. #section31
unlabelledView post →Time to settle down for Star Trek Movie Sundays on GREAT! movies. It’s… Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. … Ok time to download Hot Spanish Daddies 4: Vale, chicos, Ponte de rodillas
unlabelledView post →Watched Deadpool & Wolverine. So stupid - like “let’s ride this joke until it’s dead”, Star Trek V levels of eyeroll-worthy gags. Take the fourth wall breaking and inside jokes of the first two movies and multiply by 10 - that IS the movie, now. Still kinda fun, though. It has its moments.
unlabelledView post →Fuck you if you think Star Trek V is a bad movie. Fuck you sideways if you think Jim and Spock aren't fucking.
unlabelledView post →Star Trek V was the first Trek movie that I ever saw in the theatre. I definitely didn't hate it. There was one summer where I wore the hell out of VHS tapes of TFF and Willow. It absolutely could have benefitted from ILM doing the VFX and Harve Bennett restraining Shat a bit more.
unlabelledView post →The idea that Miller thinks Shatner should have "total creative control" gives me the horrible feeling that Miller thinks Star Trek V: The Final Frontier is the best Trek film. He's said many sick things over the years, but that would be his most evil opinion yet.
unlabelledView post →Star Trek V is a guilty pleasure film for me
unlabelledView post →Congratulations to Star Trek V. You're no longer the worst Star Trek film. Section 31 is bad. Like so thoroughly bad it doesn't work on any conceptual level. I was not prepared for just how bad it was.
unlabelledView post →The greatest, most profound line in motion picture history happens to have been in a very bad movie, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. "What does God need with a starship?"
unlabelledView post →Star Trek V is the worst Original Cast film and the worst Star Trek film until Nemesis and Into Darkness came along to dethrone it, and yet the bookending camping scenes--the goddamn camping scenes!--are the funnest and sweetest moments Shatner, Nimoy, and Kelley ever caught on camera together.
unlabelledView post →Ruin a movie: Star Trek V: The Penultimate Frontier
unlabelledView post →Easy: Star Trek V: The Final Frontier! I love film, and understand it. I do not mean this ironically.
unlabelledView post →Star Trek V - The Final Frontier [HD] Row Your Boat Song Ending one of if the not the best ending to a Star Trek movie.
unlabelledView post →This great video essay reminds me of my longtime contention that lurking inside of the ponderous, overstuffed Star Trek V, the worst Star Trek movie, is a *really good* TOS episode.
unlabelledView post →Remove a letter, ruin a movie. Star Trek V
unlabelledView post →just watched the section 31 "Star Trek" movie. Jesus fucking Christ is it terrible. An embarrassment to the franchise. Makes Star Trek V look great. Hell, it makes *Nemesis* look great.
unlabelledView post →I'm trying to figure out what movie my masculinity is and all I'm coming up with is Star Trek V. Hang out with my friends. Fall off a mountain. Find and kill God. Sing songs around a camp fire.
unlabelledView post →Take the wrong lesson from a movie: Star Trek V: The Final Frontier It's really cool to seek out God and no need to worry about why he needs a Starship. 🖖
unlabelledView post →Goon a movie. Star Trek V: The Gooner Frontier
unlabelledView post →Today’s movie is this gem. But it is better or worse than Star Trek V: The Final Frontier? #startrek #StarTrekTheUndiscoveredCountry #StarTrekTOS
unlabelledView post →Great. The upside? Star Trek V - The Final Frontier is no longer the worst Trek movie.
unlabelledView post →It is possible that this was one of the modifications made to the set for "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier" (filmed just around that time in early season 2) when it doubled as the Enterprise-A sickbay but that part of the set was never seen in the film in the end.
unlabelledView post →I'm gonna say Rise of Skywalker. I've seen some bad sequels in my day, but RoS is the only time I ever felt like the sequel was trying to shame me for having liked the previous film. As bad as Star Trek V was, at no point did it feel like Shatner was telling me to go fuck myself for having loved IV.
unlabelledView post →Star Trek V may have been a terrible 106-minute movie, but there was a stupendous 42-minute TV episode hiding inside it.
unlabelledView post →IIRC Shatner has only directed two fictional films. Star Trek V and Groom Lake. He is the lead in both films.
unlabelledView post →This was so much fun to see live, catch Greatest Gen's take on Star Trek V and see @goodaaron.bsky.social in movie used Nimbus 3 rock gun too! Check out the link.
unlabelledView post →Name a hated film you are willing to defend: STAR TREK V: THE FINAL FRONTIER
unlabelledView post →"Star Trek V: The Final Frontier" premiered in theatres across the United States #OTD in 1989. Here in Ireland, we had to wait until August to see it. I used to think it was the worst Star Trek film until last year's "Section 31" came out. #SpéirGhorm #FilmSky #StarTrek
unlabelledView post →Star Trek V is still the worst Trek movie of all time. Yes, even worse than Nemesis. Yes, worse than any other Trek movie you can name.
unlabelledView post →"Going out to film my show's blu ray special features in my best Star Trek V: The Final Frontier tshirt. The one with the character only real fans of the film will recognise on it" is certainly a power move of some sort.
unlabelledView post →STAR TREK V (1989) is not a good movie, but the camping sequences with Kirk, Spock, and McCoy are delightful. "Doctor McCoy. . .is not. . .in the best of moods." "Goddamned irresponsible. . .playin' games with life!"
unlabelledView post →Discovery was kind of a disaster (and Star Trek: Section 31 is the worst Trek movie, taking the crown from Star Trek V or Insurrection) but we got Strange New Worlds out of it
unlabelledView post →#TrekTwos Day 5 Film Scores Star Trek The Motion Picture Star Trek V The Final Frontier
unlabelledView post →I will always maintain that "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier" is a deeply flawed, mostly bad movie, that contains some of the absolute best Kirk / Spock / McCoy banter and camaraderie in the entire franchise.
