neutral · AI labelView post →Grand Star (2007). So I found this one season (26 episode) extremely campy sci fi TV show -- a low budget 2007 Canadian production -- called Grand Star. Watched a few episodes last night. OMG it's so terrible it is awesome. It's like a B-grade GameCube era JRPG got crossed with Snowpiercer. I can't stop watching it somehow. Anyone else seen this amazing piece of ... something? ;)

An interactive screening of Troll 2, The Lodger performed with a live score, a screening of Flow presented by the PEI Green Party and our "Save the Planet!" series with Twister, How to Blow up a Pipeline, Snowpiercer and Take Shelter. See you at the movies.
neutral · AI labelView post →Obviously I had to feed my Snowpiercer obsession with books that fit the vibe of the show
neutral · AI labelView post →She was also excellent in the TV series Snowpiercer.

I've designed a Batmobile for TV, was the sole concept artist for the Grendel Netflix show, and concepted most of the Snowpiercer train cars.

neutral · AI labelView post →Adventure drama shows with a speculative fiction element where a group of people are stuck sonewhere?. I became drawn to a certain category of shows that feel like a microcosm of human society represented by a small group of people with different personality types thrown together in a dire situation they can't escape from. Survival themes are a necessity but it also needs some kind of speculative fiction element (scifi, supernatural, fantasy, etc) to add intrigue, mystery and up the stakes and…

neutral · AI labelView post →I haven’t seen the Snowpiercer tv series yet but I believe this is what Daveed Diggs’ character would say.
neutral · AI labelView post →I think people need to watch the movie Snowpiercer. Not the fuck ass show on TV but the real movie. The back of the train always works with the front of the train.
negative · AI labelView post →This one is a little different - When I was on Snowpiercer S2, the Production Designer was looking for paintings for Wilford's cabin, and I whipped this up on spec...he liked it, and it ended up prominently displayed, and then a producer claimed it and took it home when the show ended. #Art #Painting #Snowpiercer
positive · AI labelView post →Gimme some dystopian post apocalyptic media & you have my attention… That was me with “Snowpiercer”, both the film & TV series and “Silo” as well. I’m so engrossed because I’m a fan & a writer interested in what new wrinkles can be introduced in a culture full of Redditors who look for tropes.
positive · AI labelView post →I am eavesdropping as Hyun Sook takes a film translation course from the legendary Darcy Paquet who translated the Parasite subtitles, the Snowpiercer script, and many other masterpieces. He put everyone's homework on screen at once to show all the different ways to write a single line.
neutral · AI labelView post →i think the showrunner of the Snowpiercer TV show had their heart broken by a bisexual woman because wow we sure are sneaky and untrustworthy in this show
negative · AI labelView post →In anti-capitalist/ anti-establishment shows, they always put anti-AES jabs. This is from SnowPiercer.
neutral · AI labelView post →“You’re not unique Wilford. You’re an old white dictator with a train set. Fragile, powerful men like you froze the earth in the first place.” Layton, Snowpiercer S2 E9, “The Show Must Go On”
neutral · AI labelView post →For several months every time I loaded the plex app the Snowpiercer series was "live" and the episode description was something like "Derik makes an ally in engineering with a terrible betrayal. A new rival challenges Rebenca's control of the middle cars." And now I miss it so much
positive · AI labelView post →"THE MARTIAN" scratched the same itch that the beginning of the "LOST IN SPACE" and "SNOWPIERCER" series did for me. I like to know how things work. I want to see how you grow potatoes, how you keep the train running, how you refuel the ship, etc.

neutral · AI labelView post →Watching TV in the modern era is pretty crazy. I’ll end up watching a show that’s already aired (like Snowpiercer), but then almost no one I know has seen it, so I have no one to talk to about it! 😂😭 I did get my mom into it, so I have one person to talk to at least…
neutral · AI labelView post →I am years late but the Snowpiercer TV show is absolutely fantastic. Coming up on the end of Season 2 and it hasn’t had one bad episode. Pulpy political thriller with excellent character writing. The movie is also a fun action romp. I’m halfway through the first graphic novel and it’s kickass too!
positive · AI labelView post →TRIVIA: The original ‘Snowpiercer’ pilot episode, directed by Scott Derrickson, was never released and only a few shots from it were used in the series. Thirteen of the actors in the original pilot continued on into the series, but several were recast as different characters. (IMDB) 🖤
neutral · AI labelView post →This weeks haul. A couple of new releases and sale pickups. I can enjoy The Substance again thanks to @diabolikdvd.bsky.social. I'm most excited to check out the Snowpiercer 4K. Plus a Highlander the series rewatch. #SupportPhysicalMedia
neutral · AI labelView post →Did they ever finish the Snowpiercer prequel?. Snowpiercer was originally a set of three graphic novels done by Casterman in French and Titan in English. 1: The Escape 2: The Explorers 3: Terminus Then they launched a prequel series which was also supposed to run 3 volumes: 1: Extinction 2: Apocalypse 3: Annihilation That 3rd book was supposed to be out in 2021? I guess it was Covid-Delayed?

neutral · AI labelView post →I would very much like Jennifer Connelly to be in a good TV show. First Snowpiercer (which at least gave her things to do, which Dark Matter mostly did not), and now this.
neutral · AI labelView post →I’m going for the amazingly talented Tilda Swinton: Vanilla Sky, Constantine, Michael Clayton, Burn After Reading, Moonrise Kingdom, Snowpiercer, The Grand Budapest Hotel, the Chronicles of Narnia series, Doctor Strange, Avengers: Endgame, The French Dispatch, and Asteroid City.
neutral · AI labelView post →“Snowpiercer” was my immediate first thought so i’m going with that today. …i like the tv series as well.
positive · AI labelView post →Has Sean Bean ever been more hateable than in Snowpiercer the tv series? which btw, I’m enjoying quite a bit.

neutral · AI labelView post →There were four seasons of a Snowpiercer TV adaptation. The movie about a train hastily built to escape a weather apocalypse had a TV series where said train met another Snowpiercer coming from the other direction.

neutral · AI labelView post →I know it's a graphic novel in three short volumes, but "Snowpiercer". (The screen movie was excellent, until the stupid ending. Don't even bother with the Netflix series. That said, just read the books)

positive · AI labelView post →Happy 53rd birthday to Academy Award-winning actor Jennifer Connelly, born 12/12/1970. LABYRINTH is my favorite movie of all time, and I really enjoyed her as the complex frenemy in the late, lamented SNOWPIERCER series.
