unlabelledView post →I don’t know of a more satisfying game right now than Sniper Elite 5. Except maybe Sniper Elite 4.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’ve played the Sniper Elite games in a pretty strange order mostly because Sniper Elite 5 is often cheaper than 4 for some reason. I started with the third game, then played the second, moved on to the fifth, and now finally the fourth. Honestly, they’ve all been great. Sniper Elite 5 is still my favourite overall, but I can definitely see why many people argue that the maps in Sniper Elite 4 are better. I don’t completely disagree both games feature absolutely stunning environments but…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's pretty much the same as any other sniper elite. That is shooting nazi testicles, blowing them up or slitting throats - do whatever floats your boat as long as they scream in agony. Personally I found the game to be more fun than its successor.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →awesome game just wish for more missions or for the season pass to go on sale so i can shoot hitler in his balls
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →stealth games clicked for me when it clicked that I don't have to restart when I ♥♥♥♥ up. Especially for this game when the combat is so fun. I first played the game as a child and got stuck on like level 4 because I was mad I got spotted but you just gotta keep killing them. At the end of the day they are Nazi's.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tbh for me, the best sniper elite game so far.I have other sniper elite games too.But 4 is different survival mode campaign mode on authentic plus difficulty is something not from this world.I love playing both modes at maximum difficulty, more challengening and very hard to kill and see enemies. Thanks Rebellion for making this game.I wish they would make the remake version of sniper elite 1.That is my dream.Come one rebellion ! please make my dreams become true
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Went for a sleepover with my buddy, and we both finished the story in co-op in just one sitting throughout the night. When we were done we were so confused as to why the sun is up, only to realise it was around 5 AM. 7.5/10 Fun game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Killcams are satisfying as hell in this game Its the best sniper elite game when it comes to gameplay but the story is meh Runs well on linux too 10/10 for me though
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a 60+ gamer, this hits the spot of open world maps and straight forward objectives for a WWII shooter. Finished the campaign on Marksman. Very worth the price--esp. on Steam sale. Finishing the last two missions and then heading to Sniper Elite 5. Can't speak to the multiplayer, but the basic game is very satisfying in both stealth and sniping. Nothing like shooting a grenade on a soldiers belt or the gas tank on a truck and getting two or more unsuspecting Nazis with one shot. Very…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played Sniper Elite 5 before comin back to 4, honestly, 5 doesnt even compare outside of weapon customization. The stealth in 4 is really well done, the sniper elements actually feel front and center, the shootin mechanics ard super satisfying. The map guidance can be a bit confusin sometimes, but its still way better than runnin around for ages lookin for demolition charges in 5.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just got this on Kirkversary on a fat discount👍
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall good game, it was fun. Story obviously quite shallow, but the maps and environments are well made and the gunplay is great. In terms of graphics the game holds up quite well considering it's almost 10 years old (2017). What I find strange is that there is little to no reward or incentive to stay silent or play the 'hidden sniper'. Sure, you can do it if you enjoy it, but even on higher difficulties it's faster and often times easier to just get out your machine gun and Rambo through…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even on the highest difficulty the game is not fun or realistic. Compared with V2 where higher difficulty actually mattered, here it's just artificial difficulty of wobbly aim, multiple shots to kill, huge bullet drop-off, slow bullets & combined with the fact that if you don't pay for all the DLC you will be finishing this game with the most horrible weapons, I really can't recommend it. Just play V2 and don't bother with any other Sniper Elite Games. Just because your gun is silenced doesn't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, this game surprised me. I picked it up just for the sniping, but I ended up really enjoying the whole thing. Landing a long-range shot is insanely satisfying, and the slow-motion kill cams never stop being cool. Every time you pull the trigger, you feel it. What I like most is that you can play how you want. You can sneak around and take everyone out quietly, or set traps and watch enemies walk right into them. The maps are big enough that you can try different approaches every time…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cleared my head with some Sniper Elite 4, tonight, for the first time in a couple years. I'm rusty, but I like how the game is built around using terrain and ambient noise to cover one's work. It's like a puzzle game, just with Delisle carbines.
unlabelledView post →Sniper Elite 4 is a satisfying stealth shooter with large maps, smart enemy AI, and rewarding long-range shots. The missions are fun to replay, though the story is fairly simple.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It’s a solid game—and a dangerous gateway into the Sniper Elite series. This is where I started before inevitably sinking hours into the newer titles. Forget standing in one spot like it’s a budget arcade shooter. The maps are wide open, packed with objectives, kill targets, collectibles, and enough side content to derail your original plan within five minutes. You’re not playing—you’re stalking. Best comparison? Imagine GTA and Hitman had a slightly unhinged child raised on a strict diet of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I started this game with the expectation to play a worse version of Sniper Elite 5 but it turned out to be the opposite. Sniper Elite 4 has everything that I missed in Sniper Elite 5. The game has big open maps with with lots of enemies and long range sniping opportunities almost everywhere, great enemy variety that requires adapting your playstyle to them, a better weapon balance that doesn't cater to the run 'n gun players and the hardest difficulty being Authentic Plus. Completing the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I know I'm probably in the minority, but....I can't stand the way they developed the character, the movement feels janky, the novelty wears off SUPER fast....I reinstalled this thinking I'd give it another shot, and it's still a big no for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best third person shooter I've ever played. It never feels like it ages and the online players who still play it feel like the best people I've ever met.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoy sniper games. I'm older and, frankly, it is something I can keep up with.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’ve spent some time with this game and honestly, it surprised me in a way I didn’t fully expect. I don’t want to sound dramatic, but there’s something oddly satisfying about how everything fits together — not in some perfect, polished “advertisement” way, but more like a game that knows exactly what it wants to be and just… goes for it. The first thing I noticed is the atmosphere. Every part of the game — the visuals, the sound, the pacing — kind of blends into this feeling that you’re…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sniper Pistol Elite 4 Good game to chill out. Despite the fact that it's supposed to play stealthy, it's a no-brainer game. Pretty schematic and repetetive - bait, kill, hide, repeat. Old games were Sniper Elite, indeed (my favourite is the first one), this one forces you to be melee/pistol madman ( Hello mr. 47 ) instead of sniping. I mean, of course you can use your rifle but most of the time you are punished for doing that. Maps are pretty closed (a lot of buildings, enemies staying in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Set during World War II, Sniper Elite 4 puts players behind enemy lines in 1943 Italy. As an elite sniper, players must use stealth, strategy, and precise shooting to complete dangerous missions. With large open levels, a variety of weapons, and its famous slow-motion “X-ray” kill camera, the game offers a unique take on the World War II shooter genre. But does Sniper Elite 4 live up to its reputation? In this review, I will look at its gameplay, graphics, story, and overall experience. On…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would still recommend getting the game on a sale. I love Sniper Elite, but this is the weakest entry in the series imo. This was the first game to add suppressors, which is both historically inaccurate and dumbs down the gameplay. You don't really need to plan your approach quite as much, choose when to fire and when not to, or set up mines and escape routes if you do decide to fire your rifle, you can just click on everybody because nobody will hear the shot. I don't know if 5 and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think this game is the best out of all Sniper Elite titles. -Stunning graphics and maps, just walking around gives joy -Balanced missions that actually give us something to do and are unique -Ton of realistic positions and possibilities to use enviroment and hazards to our advantage -Long and interesting missions that take hours to finish on a single map -Bonus objectives like hunting for (well hidden) stone eagles or collecting notes from dead enemies across whole (gigantic) map(s) to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like it when video games let me go to Italy. Sniper Elite 4, also known as “I bet I can hit that guy from across the map: the game” is a 2017 stealth action game. You play as Karl, look out guys, its Karl. Karl is an SOE Operative currently working with the American OSS on a mission to stop General Bohm with an umlaut and his new radio guided missile system. Going into Italy ahead of the Allied Invasion during Operation Avalanche, Karl has to link up with both Italian Resistance force and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It feels like this game wasn't designed to be a Sniper Elite game, or at least not what I'd expect from the series. Levels seldom have interesting sight lines, lack cool sound-masking opportunities, have otherwise useful tools in useless locations, force you into hallways and narrow spaces indoors, and are just generally not fun to engage with. The terrible design then heavily encourages the use of suppressed ammo for your sniper (or a silenced pistol) that comes off as lazy level design, made…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even though the game was released back in 2017, the game itself is incredible. For a single player gamer, (such as myself) I consider this game as one of the best games I've ever played. I've put in over 200 hours so far, and even though I finished the game, the replayability is astounding. The game is often on sale for 90% off, and I highly suggest you pick up this game when it's on sale. There is something about this game that even makes it better than it's newer instalment, Sniper…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sniper Elite 4 was my first game in the series, and it turned out to be an excellent introduction. The story is good and gives a solid backdrop of Italy in 1943, highlighting its importance during World War II. But the real highlight is the gameplay. The iconic kill cams are what pulled me into this game and they absolutely deliver. Watching those precise shots land never gets old (and you can turn them off if you prefer). The missions feature large, open maps that can take hours to complete,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This review is hot off Sniper Elite 3 and oh man, the improvements are obvious and very welcome! It's similar to Sniper Elite 3 in gameplay style, that is the sniper-shooter-stealth combination in a sandbox with various objectives, but there are changes. The setting has evolved from 1942 Afrika to 1943 Italia. Replacing the arid deserts are coastal villages, lush forests, mountainous regions. With those mountains comes new climbing mechanics which gives each map a lot of vertical play,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you want to learn to be a sniper, this is the best option you can find in the net; not only realism and accuracy, the most important part is that the game learns your strategies which makes you evolve, develop new ones and find the weak points of the enemy; As a former sniper I thought my grandsons with it...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent game, good graphics, fun gun play and gameplay. But why is everything a DLC, i should not need to buy a DLC just to get certain guns that change the game. I experienced very little progression both ingame and length of playtime. The constant feel that i needed DLC is what made me refund the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall the best sniping experience i had over all games i played. The maps are huge with each mission having multiple objectives, meaning you can take turns to complete a single mission, the ai is pretty dumb even on harder difficulties but their damage covers it up, the game gets frustrating with only stealth due to the sheer amount of enemies near each objective and wiping each one of them takes times, you will almost certainly die in close fights because the SMG is pretty unstable and…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Arguably the best SE entry in the franchise. We've got Varied environments decent AI Wide weapon selection Well laid out levels that while open have a linear pace to them that feels good Solid survival mode with optional coop It does all of these elements and more with some of the more smoothly polished mechanics. Everything just feels good. I put in many more hours on Xbox with this game. Fully recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As I didn't have much time when It came to gaming, I was able to play this weekend, and surprisingly, I completed the whole game. Now I have 2 games I would like to complete before 2026. Warhammer 40K Space Marine and Sniper Elite 4. Which one will I choose? That's something I will see later. #RAGE

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sniper Elite 4 is an underrated game and the level of satisfaction in its sniping and stealth is so good. Probably my favorite stealth game in a while ^^

Just finished General Leo's section. Floating Continent next. Great game so far. Rougher around the edges than, say, Chrono Trigger, but still fantastic.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First time playing a Sniper Elite game. I'm not much into military shooters anymore, but I enjoyed this. Sneaking around and sniping everyone is a lot more enjoyable than just run n gunnin'. Story is incredibly forgettable, but gameplay makes up for that. 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sniper Elite 4 represents the absolute peak of the open-ended stealth formula established in the previous entry, offering a visually stunning return to Europe that refines every single mechanic to near perfection. The shift to WWII Italy brings breathtaking, sun-drenched coastal vistas and lush vineyards that are outright gorgeous, making it easily the most beautiful and vibrant game I've played so far in the series. The levels are massive sandboxes, dwarfing anything seen in the franchise…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall I would recommend this game. There are a few things I wish they would address, such as the ineffectiveness of the weapons. Totally unrealistic! A rifle shot to the head, especially 30 cal. or larger is a life ender let alone 2,3, and sometimes even four shots to the head to eliminate the enemy. Their idea of ballistics is far from the reality. The 30-06 for instance has an effective range of 300 to 400 yards for an average shooter. In the hands of a Sniper you can be effective out to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You know why you want this game. It isn't the story that's okayish. Or the characters that are passable or basic. It's for the in-depth x-ray scenes. And yes they are very detailed and fun to see.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game is you like slow, tactical sniper gameplay. You could just walz in and shoot everything, but the stealthy sniper gameplay is much more fun and rewarding. Just keep in mind to take some silent ammo as your starting gear for a level, otherwise you'll have a hard time progressing through a level undetected with only melee attacks
