Yes, I am spending my Saturday night watching the iconic, the great, the number one IMDb rated (in my house!!!! And god’s house!!!!) Sister Act.

(BTW, Roald Dahl’s Bond movie was You Only Live Twice)

Watching Sister Act in Dolores Park with hundreds of young families and a thousand drunk homosexuals was the most fun I've ever had watching a movie.

unlabelledView post →#29 - Sister Act Early in the movie, Clarence orders a coke at the bar. She does not ever get her coke. That's messed up, that's theft, give the nun her soda, you're going to hell
unlabelledView post →I know folks like to say streaming is the point when everything went downhill but really it’s when the entire industry decided to stop shooting on film. Actively made the product worse just because it was cheaper. Sister Act looks better than any movie made in the last 5 years.
unlabelledView post →Man, I feel awful cutting in over Sister Act for severe updates. This movie still crushes. Maggie and Whoopi, plus Kathy Najimy and Mary Wickes.
unlabelledView post →Oh yeah, realized some of you might not be hip to the shit that’s heading our way, read Kaffir Boy by Mark Mathabane OR watch the movie musical Sarafina! (It’s excellent, fun fact Whoopi Goldberg only agreed to do Sister Act 2 if they made Sarafina, what a two for one!!!)

unlabelledView post →I told someone that I saw Sister Act in the movie theatre and their jaw dropped so damn fast
unlabelledView post →You ever notice how SISTER ACT, LEGALLY BLONDE, and MISS CONGENIALITY are basically the same movie? This isn't a bug, it's a feature, it's why they've remained sorta timeless and endlessly re-watchable, it's because 'plot' doesn't matter.
unlabelledView post →Copia's guilty pleasure movie is Sister Act. I saw it in a vision. #thebandghost

unlabelledView post →Talking to my wife reminded me of another one: SISTER ACT 2. The breakout hit of the first film was the signing nuns. And so I couldn't believe that they were barely part of a sequel that used the tired "Let's put on a show to save the school" plot that didn't even need Whoopi as a nun
