unlabelledView post →I really liked the first movie so I’m kind of surprised I didn’t watch the second one. Let’s see if it lives up to the first. #100HorrorMoviesin92Days 36/100 Sinister 2 (2015)
unlabelledView post →Grown Ups 2 was FAR superior to the first one. Time for movie number 2! The next randomly selected movie is... Nice, a horror movie, and another sequel. Sequel Saturday it is! Sinister 2, 2015
unlabelledView post →man i was excited to watch Sinister 2 tonight and this movie is a whole lot of fucking nothing. Nothing happens. i think this has to be one of the most boring movies ive ever sat through. total trash
unlabelledView post →Just watched Sinister 2 and holy fuck it's been a while since I watched a movie that really triggered me. Amazing, better than the first, but holy hell I HAD NO IDEA what I signed up for JFC

unlabelledView post →The issue here is that horror has always had that high return on investment. It's why so many people thought Sinners and Weapons were big gambles—their huge budgets. But even my lowest performing film, Sinister 2, made 9x it's budget back in theatrical alone. But these films did HUGE.
unlabelledView post →The Sinister movies are not good movies but they have good parts to them; but I will say that Sinister 2 is fucking wild for choosing to go full Hunter: The Vigil with a side-character from the first movie. It isn't a good movie, but its a fun goddamn choice. You don't go back to normal.
unlabelledView post →As far as biggest dropoff, yeah Sinister 2 might be it, but for worst second film in a franchise that killed the franchise... I gotta say Haunting in Connecticut 2
unlabelledView post →For the most part, I Enjoyed #BlackPhone2. It's a Solid Sequel that Continues the Story of the First Movie in a way that's Pretty Cool. Even If It had some Mid Stuff here & there. It's Definitely a Much Better Sequel to a Derrickson Film than 'Sinister 2'. That's for Sure. 7/10 (Or 6/10. I'm Torn)
unlabelledView post →Day 6: Sequel I haven't seen My pick: Sinister 2 (2015). Loved the first one so much, I always end up just rewatching it 😂 Thanks for the fun new #31dayshorrorchallenge @blkwrestlindude.bsky.social! What's yours? #horrorsky #moviesky

unlabelledView post →The first movie I remember seeing in theaters was Quigley Down Under. I got to pick the movie and confused it with The Rescuers Down Under. In my defense I was 10🙃 The last movie I saw was Sinister 2 I think? (It's been a hot minute since I was at the theaters as I don't have one close anymore.)
unlabelledView post →Is #Sinister2 worth watching? We’re just now watching the first one for the first time and we love it! It seems that the second film has a lower rating than the first. #Horror #HorrorMovies #HorrorFilms
unlabelledView post →For today's spooky movie I watched Sinister 2, which is not a patch on the original. I thought the deputy was great, but that was about it. It wears it's "tribute to Children of the Corn" roots openly and I think it's worse for that. It's not a _terrible_ film but I don't feel it needed to exist

unlabelledView post →Happy 11th anniversary to Sinister 2, the sequel to 2012’s Sinister. “Christmas Morning" was originally going to be included in Sinister, but was left out because it would require extending the length of the first movie.

unlabelledView post →The (movie) Sinister 2 1080p (Prime)(US) $4.99 (Horror) (iMDB) 5.4 Cast: James Ransone, Shannyn Sossamon, Robert Daniel Sloan, Dartanian Sloan, Lea Coco, Tate Ellington
unlabelledView post →Sinister 2 is on the free movie channel, idek there was a Sinister 2. So, I'm watching that.
unlabelledView post →This afternoon we watched Sinister 2 (2015) Another horror. It's grim and unsettling. I don't do well consuming media featuring too many violence for shock values so this was not a good watch for me. It's a good horror #movie just not my cup of tea. I prefer when mystery horror haha 😅
unlabelledView post →Ransone also made his mark in film, from *Sinister* and *Sinister 2* to *Tangerine*, *It Chapter Two* (adult Eddie Kaspbrak), and *The Black Phone*. He had a gift for making complicated characters feel real.
unlabelledView post →That’s a real bummer. I remember him from the Scott Derrickson movie… Sinister 2. Really interesting actor.
unlabelledView post →Oh, yeah, Sinister 2 exists. That movie was such a disappointment given how effective the first one was
unlabelledView post →Sinister 2 was the most nothing film experience I've ever had
unlabelledView post →Hmmmm.....curious Wondering if the children were only supposed to watch the film strips. The way Sinister 2 (2015) has it, its the kids who are watching them with the dead kids I guess in the first one, Ethan Hawke the writer stumbles upon them first but it works that way too
unlabelledView post →So Sinister was a fucking terrifying and awesome movie. Sinister 2 is very different in tone and not 'scary' the same way the first one is but I really enjoy it because of its differences.
unlabelledView post →Watched Sinister and Sinister 2 during the week and love those movies. They seem to slip under the radar a lot. The second one ended like there was supposed to be a third. Can we get a 3rd movie to close this trilogy #blumhouse?
unlabelledView post →Literally moving from Sinister 2 to the very first movie in the suggested watch list: A Savannah Haunting. Looks fun. Here I go.
unlabelledView post →What kind of movie you looking at, btw? If you like horror, I suggest Sinister (but not so much Sinister 2)
unlabelledView post →Sinister is a fun silly movie, and Sinister 2 is a movie about Young Sheldon
unlabelledView post →Good film and fantastic knitwear for Hawke. But the quality drop-off in Sinister 2 needs to be studied.

unlabelledView post →Modern horror sequels are often failures. I thought that as the first film wasn't great that I wouldn't be as disappointed if this film turned out to be bad. I was wrong, Compared to this, the first instalment was a masterpiece and this made me realise how it was successful at achieving its goals sometimes. 'Sinister 2' was quite scary in places. No doubt, the cinema playing the film super loud helped elevate the jump scares though. The creepy depictions of murder in the first film were crazily…
negative · AI labelView post →> What's the most dangerous? The dark force or the evil father. The first film was good, I enjoyed it, but not scary. So a sequel was expected and it failed to live up to the standards of the original. I would say, it was a decent horror film, with more story and drama than the creepy atmosphere. One character retained from the previous and the core theme remained, but tried a different method of narration. Something like 'Goodnight Mommy' with two brothers and mystery events surrounding them.…
negative · AI labelView post →In filmmaker Scott Derrickson’s original ‘Sinister’, this writer’s critical impressions toward the sub-par psychological yarn was rather blunt if not consistent with the steady diet of formulaic fightfests. The following passage pretty much sums up the cinematic sentiments from the movie’s critique: 'At best Sinister is a lukewarm twitchy tale that routinely teases the audience with the obligatory guessing game of whether or not the conjured up evil-minded spookiness is imagined…cheapened scare…
