The action game with mini-games has the honor of being the first Shin-chan game and would set off Shin-chan fever. They released 3 of just these in a year, among others! #gaming #retro #anime 🎮
unlabelledView post →for those who don't know: the Shin-Chan summer vacation game was directed by none other than Kaz Ayabe, creator of the legendary Boku No Natsuyasumi series, which is also about childhood summers. other Americans might know him better for the classic Attack of the Friday Monsters! on the 3DS.

unlabelledView post →I finally beat the Shin Chan game. It was very silly and wholesome. The professor was a Dr. Wily type for sure, but he wasn't evil...just feeling lonely and unappreciated. I will play the sequel eventually, but for now I've had my fill of roaming around catching bugs and wiggling my butt.

It is very short and easy, but with enough variety to have it stand out. If you have half an hour to spare, check it out!
unlabelledView post →Something to add to this thread is that due to the popularity of Shin-Chan, Spain is one of the few and only countries that got localized Shin-Chan games! More especifically the ones on Game Boy Advance, the Wii game and a couple of Nintendo DS games (one of which being a remake of one of the GBA)!

unlabelledView post →21. Shin-Chan Shiro and the Coal Town I enjoyed the first few in-game days, and then I struggled to figure out what the point of the game was. There is no calendaring system/time limits, the original town you start in stops mattering 25% in, and Coal Town is so limp. The story is so limp. Boring.
unlabelledView post →16 - Crayon Shin-chan 4: Ora no Itazura Daihenshin Fairly simple platformer based on Shin Chan, the presentation is good and the cutscenes between the four stages of the games capture the humour of the show well, the issue is that even for a kid's game it's incredibly short

Kaz Ayabe is known for making, well, the same summer holiday game over and over again. You discover secrets and there are events and stuff but they’re like Animal […]…
