A24’s Stop Making Sense restoration is mind blowing. • SHE CAME TO ME • THE FISHER KING • WE BURY THE DEAD • STOP MAKING SENSE
unlabelledView post →Thinking, as I so often do, of SHE CAME TO ME, the movie in which composer Peter Dinklage cheats on his wife Anne Hathaway with Marisa Tomei, who is a tugboat captain.
unlabelledView post →recommending the movie, She Came To Me, starring peter dinklage, marisa tomei, and anne hathaway. it's the usual mature rom-com, but has a cheesy, predictable happy ending that sits well with me. 1 complaint outta 5 (wouldve earned 0 complaints had there been more marisa or anne)
unlabelledView post →SHE CAME TO ME is bafflingly terrible and *not at all* the movie that’s being advertised. Bonkers in a not fun way, it takes itself way too seriously. Tonally disjointed. The cast’s shine is constantly dulled. Waste of your time. Don’t let her come to you.

unlabelledView post →OK, so She Came to Me is, in many respects, a terrible film but it has a certain chaotic charm that kept me engaged. Also, the best bits concern a whole other plot that is not remotely hinted at in the trailer. Plus, of course, it has Marisa Tomei in it.
unlabelledView post →Movie suggestion on Amazon Prime: “She Came to Me.” Peter Dinklage, Anne Hathaway, Marisa Tomai, Harlow Jane (Patricia Arquette’s daughter). Brilliantly different. Brilliantly acted. Brilliantly written. Not what you’d expect. A departure from the ordinary. You’ll thank me.

You know I love me some blockbusters, but I also love indie movies, and especially the rare occasions when I can see a movie with almost zero expectations. In this case, it was the cast of #PeterDinklage, #AnneHathaway and #MarisaTomei that drew me in, and they definitely delivered on my expectations. Congrats to writer and director #RebeccaMiller on a terrific film. #SheCameToMeFilm
