unlabelledView post →It’s fun looking back at my really early animatics and boards for #ShazamFuryOfTheGods and comparing with the finished result. I was right about the trailer worthy-ness of the first shot since it did end up in trailers. These were drawn in #Krita. I use that or #Blender3D. #Vfx by DNEG. #FilmMaking

unlabelledView post →Happy 24th birthday to the sweet and incredibly talented Rachel Zegler! I loved her in West Side Story (2021), Snow White (2025), Y2K, and even Shazam! Fury of the Gods (as weak as it was compared to the first film). My friends, what are your favorite Rachel Zegler movies?

unlabelledView post →2019 vs 2023. I figured it would be too jarring in #ShazamFuryOfTheGods to cut back and forth between the old and new suits so we reshot this part. #FilmMaking

unlabelledView post →Fun fact; I thought the environment here was too dead and wanted some guards. We didn't have CG guards though so instead that's footage of the guards leading Freddy and the wizard to the sisters. But you can't tell that's Freddy outside Freddy's cell. #ShazamFuryOfTheGods #FilmMaking
unlabelledView post →Share a subpar sequel! 🎥🖤 Shazam! Fury of the Gods is one of the most underwhelming sequels I have ever watched. The first film set up a promising sequel. But instead we got completely new villains, an unfocused plot, and a weaker performance from Zachary Levi. Rachel Zegler was the best part.
unlabelledView post →BlueSky doesn't do polls yet, so it's just for fun. The best superhero movie set in Philadelphia is... A) 'Unbreakable' B) 'Glass' C) 'Shazam!' D) 'Shazam: Fury of the Gods' I'm not expecting many votes for the sequels, but it felt wrong not to include them. No, dorks, Rocky and Creed don't count.
unlabelledView post →Finally saw SHAZAM: FURY OF THE GODS last night and it was a fun film! Goofy and delightful. Very enjoy.
unlabelledView post →Fun fact; that's not Jack running towards camera. Jack was still a minor and could only work limited hours. It felt a little risky to have a double running straight to camera but the scene is pretty dark. #ShazamFuryOfTheGods #FilmMaking
unlabelledView post →They should bring back everyone watching the same movie on a plane. You gotta force them to sit through Shazam Fury of the Gods #LoveAtFirstBite #FullMoonFrights
unlabelledView post →The first SHAZAM! was likable enough, and the not-shot-in-Philly Philly stuff was fine, but SHAZAM! FURY OF THE GODS rubbed our noses in how nobody affiliated with the movie had ever even been to the city on a field trip.
unlabelledView post →say what you will about certified bad films like SHAZAM: FURY OF THE GODS, AQUAMAN 2 or WONDER WOMAN 1984, they were sequels driven by the fact people liked the film previous; there's no such demand for a film that's a sequel to FALCON & THE WINTER SOLDIER and THE INCREDIBLE HULK and ETERNALS

unlabelledView post →In memory of Bonnie Tyler, here's a clip of Tetris (2023) featuring her song, "Holding Out For A Hero". That spring, I watched three movies in a row including that song; "Tetris", "The Super Mario Bros. Movie", and "Shazam: Fury Of The Gods". Is there a definitive list of movies with it?
unlabelledView post →Shazam! Fury of the Gods ⚡ must be one of the most mid movies I've ever seen. Somehow it was more mid then WW84. Which was a more baffling but more interesting movie. I don't hate it. Don't like it. Rather not watch it again. 🤷♂️ #FilmSky
unlabelledView post →Saw "Shazam: Fury Of The Gods" It's... a perfectly serviceable superhero movie. Loaded with flaws, but still entertaining enough to be watchable. I rate it: 🌕🌕🌕🌚🌚
unlabelledView post →It came out at a *really bad* time for DC (in the year after Black Adam, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and The Flash) and I'll never not be bitter about it. Jaime is one of my favorites and got a great movie! They've all but confirmed Xolo is set to reprise the role for an animated series at least.
unlabelledView post →The other night, because I wanted to watch something that didn't involve my brain, I watched "Shazam: Fury of the Gods". It is not a great film, on about a par with Black Adam. BUT if you ever wanted to see Helen Mirren throw people through walls, THIS IS THE FILM FOR YOU.
unlabelledView post →The fac that this movie not get nominated for a Razzle and yet Shazam: Fury of the Gods did is beyond me.
unlabelledView post →I just finished watching Shazam - Fury of the Gods (Don't judge, I was painting miniatures so popcorn guff is perfect background noise and by god there is no movie so shit Gal Gadot can't make worse with even the briefest cameo.
unlabelledView post →3/1 - Shazam! Fury of the Gods Oh Shazam what happened to you. The first movie was so good, where did the fun story and the good characters go. Better than the other shitty Shazam movie I watched today, but still a pile of muddy goo
unlabelledView post →Just finished watching *Shazam: Fury of the Gods* (2023), which was supposed to be this huge disappointment. But it was a super-fun, big, splashy superhero movie for kids, which is what these things should be.
unlabelledView post →One more thought on “Aquaman and the Sloppy Second,” it remains SO weird to me that James Gunn said next to nothing about this flick and the okay-ish “Shazam: Fury of the Gods” but went on a press spree declaring the unpleasant “Flash” movie one of the best superhero flicks ever made.
unlabelledView post →It's not even the worst DC movie. Is everyone forgetting Shazam! Fury of the Gods?!? Or Green Latern?

unlabelledView post →I hope what happened during the bs backlash for Snow White doesnt deter her to being in more movies, though I wouldn't mind her in the MCU or being a better DC movie than SHAZAM! Fury of the Gods
unlabelledView post →Might as well clear another Suoerhero movie off the board with Shazam! Fury of the Gods from 2023. I saw the first one with @literarygrrrl.bsky.social and it had some funny moments. Never got around to the sequel. Directed by David F. Sandberg. #Filmsky #DC #Superhero #Moviesky
unlabelledView post →Considering the superhero movie bubble seems to have popped, the MCU has fallen off a cliff, and DC‘s immediate previous movies included Joker 2, Blue Beetle, Shazam: Fury of the Gods, and The Flash, I’d say Superman is doing very well for itself, relatively speaking.

unlabelledView post →Shazam! Fury of the Gods, was released two years ago! I was so hyped after the trailer and new suits, but the movie just didn’t deliver. Young Billy (Asher Angel) and Zachary Levi’s Billy felt completely out of sync. The only positive was Mary Marvel. #DCU #ZacharyLevi #Shazam

unlabelledView post →Shazam! Fury Of The Gods is on Tubi, and y'all are some haters. It's great! I understand not liking Zachary Levi, but y'all did the other actors dirty tanking that movie. #rude
unlabelledView post →On @tordotcom.bsky.social Zachary Levi is back as Shazam--so's Asher Angel, but you'd barely know it. At least Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu are having fun as the Evil Sisters of Evil. The great superhero movie rewatch is disappointed by SHAZAM!: FURY OF THE GODS. www.tor.com/2023/12/13/s...

Sandberg; starring Zachary Levi, Lucy Liu, Hellen Mirren, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegle; written by Henry Gayden, Chris Morgan Billy Batson and his siblings stop banished gods from stealing back the powers of Shazam. The film recaptures the light-hearted vibe of the first installment well with a functional plot layered with nice character arcs, cool-looking actions beats and good comedy. unlabelledView post →SHAZAM! Fury of the Gods: I would love it if Billy Batson worked for a newspaper in this movie. Cyberbullies mocked the FUCK out of Zachary Levi for his public meltdown(?) over how this didn't make money. ...Levi was right tho. This is one of the greatest films of all time. #FilmSky Verdict: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

unlabelledView post →I finally got around to seeing Shazam: Fury of the Gods. More harmless silly nonsense. Probably the most in your face product placement in a major family movie. Chops to Helen Mirren for chewing the scenery with relish. Not as much charm as the first one.
unlabelledView post →watched Shazam!: Fury of the Gods when the power came back on and it's honestly not as bad as I was given to expect. the cameo at the end was entirely needless and dumb and causes recency bias to cast that pallor on the whole movie, but I know I was enjoying it before that. better than Black Adam.
unlabelledView post →Watched #ShazamFuryOfTheGods 🎬 The dying DCEU gives us the best superhero movie of 2004! Wait, this came out WHEN?! Yeah, it's utter shite. The humour is dreadful, the story formularic, the characters cringe inducing. Horrible follow-up overall. Everyone should be ashamed. #filmsky
unlabelledView post →SHAZAM! Fury of the Gods (2023): fucked up that the rock made it so black adam couldn't be the main villain of the shazam sequel. While I was watching this movie I said "idk why this gets so much hate it's just okay" then I noticed the movie still had over an hour of runtime left. Why is it 2h15m

How old was this kid when this was shot? He wasn't twenty yet, but he has strong #GenX ageing genes, I guess. #ShazamFuryOfTheGods
