The love drama,The world building,The powers! The side characters! I cant wait to start the Six of Crows and the King of Scars Duologies! This might become my top 5 Series
neutral · AI labelView post →Fun fact I had the pleasure of meeting Kit Young during his Shadow and Bone days. I loved that show! I also love Alien Earth! And was pleasantly surprised to see him as Isaac/ tootles. Too bad he's dead dead in that one lol 😭
positive · AI labelView post →#booksky #romantasy #thismonsterofmine Time for round 2, because I have a lot more to say Beware spoilers this time (for this book, and the Shadow and Bone novels and Netflix show, and probably other related books)
neutral · AI labelView post →Okay so I’m reading Shadow and Bone for the first time (I’ve also never seen the show). These books are so fun. Currently on Siege and Storm. This world is so amazing. #booksky #grishaverse
neutral · AI labelView post →I am in love with the art by John Picacio for The Invisible Parade! It just won a Locus Award and has been a finalist for others. The book is a collaboration between John as illustrator and Leigh Bardugo, who wrote the Shadow and Bone series (among others).
neutral · AI labelView post →I am so unbelievably upset they cancelled Shadow and Bone s3. Fuck stranger things I wanted the Six of Crows show too 😤
neutral · AI labelView post →Wife and I watched the second Shadow and Bone series on Netflix and I have to hand it to the screen writers on taking a very mediocre and trope filled book series and turning it into an absolutely awful series that makes the average CW show look like prestige TV
negative · AI labelView post →In April 2015, screenwriter Eric Heisserer (Arrival, Lights Out, Hours, Bird Box, Shadow and Bone) posted a series of tweets on the subject: Finding Joy in Your Writing. neutral · AI labelView post →Switching it up cause I’ve had enough Napoleonic war for a bit, need some fantasy in my life rn. I enjoyed the show but they pulled it so fuck it let’s see what the book hit for. A little Lakmé and Shadow and Bone LFG! #BookSky
positive · AI labelView post →Forever pissed they canceled the Shadow and Bone show before it got to the Six of Crows plot
positive · AI labelView post →Does anyone else prioritize books with news of a TV or movie adaptation? Mickey 6✅️ Shadow and Bone ✅️ Etc... Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell? It's been on my shelf for 3 years but It's news to me that there was a SERIES made of it, so here we are. Shot to the top of my list. ✅️ #booksky
neutral · AI labelView post →I would much, much rather have more seasons of Shadow and Bone - a show Netflix still emails me about - than another version of Avatar. And I'm less likely to try a new fantasy/scifi series out because it could be gone in a season or two and never wrapped up.
positive · AI labelView post →I hate living in a timeline where the most creative, fun and engaging series are cancelled due to capitalism 🙃 Lockwood and Co, Shadow and Bone, Wheel of time. It feels like you can't enjoy anything anymore because it'll just be cancelled midway through. Nothing is finished anymore and it sucks.
positive · AI labelView post →ARGENTUM IN AQUA = JONATHAN STRANGE & MR NORRELL x SHADOW AND BONE (TV series) x BLOODBORNE (Yes, I'm cheating on the TV series/film, but I honestly can't think of one that fits that isn't an adaptation)
neutral · AI labelView post →*Shadow and Bone* fell into the Netflix trap of not becoming a culture-dominating mega-hit to justify getting a third season where the various "pay me pls" clauses of everyone's contract would come due and I'm still low-key mad about it. But that show was better than it needed to be and they were just on the cusp of main love interest Mal becoming the slightest bit interesting. God, when was the last time I read a book that wasn't to a child? Uh... I think *Lies of Locke Lamora* could be…
positive · AI labelView post →Incorporated and Alphas. I'm still really annoyed at Netflix for cancelling Altered Carbon and Shadow and Bone as well. They don't deserve my money if all they do is back out of finishing stories.
positive · AI labelView post →I recently was able to watch Season 2 of Shadow And Bone. And of course had to draw Kaz Brekker. Did also listen on ADHD Chatter episode with Jessie Mei Li. Who is the main character in the show. Might need to buy the Crow books to get more about my favorite little thief team 😁 #art #procreate
positive · AI labelView post →Daisy is Hiraeth's voice claim! I was also inspired by her portrayal of Genya in the Shadow and Bone show for Hiraeth :'D

neutral · AI labelView post →I don’t understand why the best epic fantasy shows get cancelled like Wheel Of Time, Shadow and Bone, Shannara Chronicles, etc. The Wheel of Time book series has 14 books in it and a long way to go. I hope Amazon changes its mind and saves the show. #WOT #wheeloftime #prime

neutral · AI labelView post →Currently reading The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo. I friggin love magic, and I loved the Shadow and Bone series, so I'm very happy with it so far. :)
positive · AI labelView post →I’m not surprised but still bummed that there’s gonna be no more Grishaverse, either s3 of Shadow and Bone nor the spin-off. I did a lot of art for it during the years the show was on! And I loved painting these two beautiful people and their amazing hair and costumes 😭
positive · AI labelView post →Peacocks ‘DUNGEON CRAWLER CARL’ TV series has found its co-showrunner in Eric Heisserer. Best known for Netflix’s “Shadow and Bone” and screenwriter for both ‘Arrival’ and ‘Bird Box’. #peacock #DungeonCrawlerCarl
neutral · AI labelView post →The new Quantum Leap reboot was just about to get in the _shit_. Caprica because Sister Clarice et al polycule. Wheel of Time because...also we just saw technology as the downfall. Also one no one mentioned in replies: Shadow and Bone. Another fantasy series cut short by the maker.
neutral · AI labelView post →Bring back one canceled show: *me screaming and crying* SHADOW AND BONE...or at the very damn least give us the Six of Crows spinoff that was already written because we had the perfect cast and it turns my stomach in knots thinking we'll never see all 6 crows together.

neutral · AI labelView post →Netflix, we need to talk. Ending series without conclusions feels like releasing a book without the final chapter. Shows like The OA, Sense8, The Society, and Shadow and Bone left fans hanging. Loyal viewers deserve real endings and closure, not cliffhangers. #FinishTheStory #Netflix
neutral · AI labelView post →#ShadowAndBone 's cancellation highlights the lack of representation in fantasy TV, where shows with diverse and inclusive casts like #Shadowhunters, #Willow and #LockwoodAndCo often meet premature ends, before they can fully develop. #SaveShadowAndBone https://screenrant.com/shadow-bone-cancellation-fantasy-adaptation-problem/

negative · AI labelView post →I wanted more Acolyte despite the first season not always hitting what I liked, wanted more Shadow and Bone, which was a fun little show that deserved a conclusion.

positive · AI labelView post →The frequent cancellations of beloved shows like #WarriorNun and #ShadowAndBone are eroding the trust of Netflix subscribers, making them more hesitant to invest time in new television shows on the platform. screenrant.com/warrior-nun-...

neutral · AI labelView post →I've been burnt too many times on shows I got REALLY into like The OA and Shadow and Bone (judge me as you like, haha) that committing to another show really isn't worth my time.
positive · AI labelView post →For real it kills the momentum of so many shows Shadow and Bone for one Great show, awesome season 2 that none one watched because it was so long ago that no one could remember what happened in the last season "Who is that? What is happening? Let me look up a summary of last season"
positive · AI labelView post →finally reading SHADOW AND BONE ... I loved the TV show, but I've been having trouble reading and the #Grishaverse #audiobooks are Audible exclusives, but my ability to READ also seems to be coming back maybe??? 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 so I got the first book as an ebook from the library AND ANYWAY

A unique treatment of magic, which I really appreciated Author also wrote the Shadow and Bone Trilogy the Netflix show is based on
