Within sixteen hours they patched the game twice, fixing both of those issues and then a few others. This review is primarily going to be about the changes brought by the patches, because they are very good. Game is good now. A lower number of encounters means not only that do you spend less real-life time…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First a WARNING: The store page description is somewhat misleading when it goes to the actual content on offer. This game is extremely light on story, especially past the introductory sequences, and there is only a single, very minimalistic romance arc for each of the playable classes (and all of those arcs pretty much play out by themselves, without much input on player's part). Also, saying that every playable character has her own story is a bit of a stretch - they have their own personality…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've always been a fan of JRPGs, especially Dungeon Crawlers, to be explicit. However, it didn't happen often that I stumble across one, and thus, I was especially thrilled when I found out about Serment - Contract with a Devil that doesn't only happen to be a Dungeon Crawler but also contains plenty of adorable girls. As if it wasn't already enough, this game even added yuri elements that made the whole experience even better for me. I honestly wasn't sure how the story was going to turn out…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Story My character, whom I named Kaede (as always), wakes up in the complete darkness and has no idea how she got here. A female voice that comes seemingly out of nowhere tells Kaede that she has died, but there is still a chance to save her. It turns out that even the Devil needs money, and she is ready to not only save Kaede from death, but also terminate the contract if she pays a hefty sum of gold. Now any sane person should get suspicious and have some second thoughts as the whole…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted some light game that I can do "mindlessly" and yuri. This game fit the criteria. Pros: - The developers have been really good at responding since the game is out. That's always set the right tone in my opinion. - As mentioned above chill light game (it's nice to take a break from adrenaline pumping game) - Not the typical male yuri content with main focus to show naked girls with nothing else (Thank goodness!). I see ppl asking this on Discussion board. Seriously, if you want that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Serment is a hybrid dungeon crawler / dating sim. But without much romance in the 5 or so hours I played. So I'll talk about what I did get into. The dungeons. You gather your party of cute anime girls and proceed. But the mechanics are a little skewed. First, is that there are two limits (and neither has anything to do with things like HP or MP). Even if your whole party wipes, you can continue on. So long as you have stamina. You lose stamina for each fight, for every serious injury, any…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played as the ninja girl, dunno if the other protagonists have much different storywriting. Anyway, I didn't find the characters too interesting; perhaps that's because they didn't seem very much like individuals but they felt more like all the cliches you'll get. You never get to go very deep into the characters and their lore either (with a few exceptions), and it just doesn't draw me in. The dungeon system was kind of interesting though but I found it to get pretty boring after the first…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Girls are pretty, prologue is great and that is all. Because the game implemented a time limit...yes...each week you need to pay X amount of money to lucifer or you get a game over. So you need to do a first complete boring run to unlock a cheat with plenty of money. The first run is just try to get money to get to the end. You miss a lot of Event (because you need to crawl dungeon, fish or whatever to get monee) and you have zero fun /: Don't know why they don't give the choice to cheat for the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Update to review: The devs fixed game balance and technical issues very fast. The game now is well playable and also have New Game + mode for you to unlock story of other game characters without dungeon crawling. You have 1 mil gold for that. I've completed all four stories and really enjoyed the game. === This is my first review on Steam. Serment encouraged me to write it. I've noticed there are very few reviews right now and there are mentioned some balance and technical issues. Hope the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is very medicore. It's not bad, but it's not good either. I feel like the devs tried to do way too much with the game and it lacks focus because of it. The story is simple and the character interactions are pretty lighthearted. For the most part, I enjoyed this aspect of the game. It was cute and refreshing. It's kinda nice to see a game where all of the characters get along well together. On the negative side, there was no depth to the story, and some of the jokes ruined the mood…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lovely mix of Dungeon Crawler and Visual Novel with Cute girls doing cute things. And an healthy dose of cute yuri! You can select four differents MC, each one with her particular love interest. The MC awaken from death, realizing that their only chance of survival is to make a contract with a Devil (a very cute and powerful one). So, you need to pay her a series of weekly amounts of money in order to keep your revived body. How? Exploring a dungeon and looting their riches, of course! You…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Better than I expected. It's certainly a straightforward dungeon crawler-meets-VN, but it's written with more care than you'd expect and there is detail where you least expect it. I am fairly convinced it uses some form of RPG Maker, which makes the dungeons all the more impressive. If moe blobs are not your thing, I would move along, but if you want a quick dungeon romp here and there (and you've exhausted your other venues) then Serment is a good diversion.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Good - Art - Yuri The Bad - Horrible performance in dungeons - Repetetive and boring grind Do i recommend? NO! Forgot to mention, users who buy this game are toxic i recommend you turn off the comments if you make a bad review or they gonna spam you.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game, I haven't finished it yet, but the story is still amazing. You have 4 characters to choose from. And from what I take the character you choose decides the girl you get with. I think!! There is no nudity in the game, so that is labeled wrong in the tags. It's a cute dungeon crawler with a nice yuri love story tied into the real story.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommendation from me. The Story is nothing to write home about, but some side quest are good. (Only played 4 hours till now so i did not see everything) After the 2 Patches today the balancing regarding money is good, didn't felt pressure at all and had time to hunt for events. Some puzzles had me stomped for a shortwile until i face palmed myself and got the simple solution. The companions are interessting and i hope i will get to know more about them later in the story. A few…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is pretty great. The money time limit isn't that hard to fulfill, and the art style is really good. If you're still unsure, there's the free demo that is basically the first stage of the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The good: It's a decent Wizardy-lite with a miniscule amount of time management thrown in. Not particularly deep, but you aren't coming into this game with that expectation. The character art and CGs are solid. The bad: The story, as it would be, is both negligible and abysmal. The world is shown as a veritable utopia, but this means there's no real conflict. There is no Big Bad. The final boss shows up out of nowhere with little fanfare, then disappears with much the same after their defeat.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The concept sounds more interesting than this ended up being. The art is really pretty? And the dungeon crawler aspect is most of everything. If you're hoping for much of a story you'll be disappointed, though maybe not if what you actually wanted was a lite dungeon crawler with pretty art. I'm not going to rate it down cause it's not bad for what it is, but it might not be what you're wanting or expecting.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I encountered several bugs - one gave me an error message repeatedly whenever certain conditions were met but I was able to advance the game by hitting 'ignore,' one sidequest never had the next scenes trigger, and one day the game stopped responding when I hit letter keys, so beating the final form of the repeating boss made it impossible for me to exit the dungeon. A cute game, and it's still being worked on, but I'd wait a little more time to purchase it so hopefully more bugs will be…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've only played the game for about 3 hours and only on the 4th floor but enjoying the game very much so far. There's a lot I could say about how simple and great the tutorials are, how much I love the characters including tsundere maid, and about how absolutely ADORABLE the enemies are you murder in this game. But the best part about this game so far is how satisfying it is to paralysis lock a boss that is 8 levels higher than you. So if you like cheese strats in RPGs and fun but simple puzzle…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Minimal story, maximum toxic yuri. Combat and dungeon crawling content is alright, but I can't see myself putting more time into the game to see endgame combat. Art style is cute, but with characters being cardboard cuttouts with 1(one) personality trait to them within the first 3 levels of the dungeon, I can't recommend it.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game for one time playthrough. If you liked Sakura Dungeon you will like this too, though this is not hentai. Although 15$ is not the worst I dont recommend buying it at full price, game lacks some QoL and everything is very basic but I still could appreciate it. Don't buy if you expect good story or in depth gameplay. All in all I think its just a bit lower quality Sakura Dungeon
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So.... Cute anime girls with no male MC lead, in RPG dungeon grinding game? I've saw enough "material" to know where this is going.... The game is good, but I would like if we had a choice to play as Male MC.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tl;dr Not recommended, even on sale. Unbelievably lazy design. The story is practically nonexistent, and while the character style and art are fine, that's not nearly enough to carry this zero-effort game. I do appreciate that there are apparently multiple characters with their own story paths, the one I selected (the ninja) got almost no story beyond the central framing device outside of a couple of throwaway lines. The dungeon crawling is okay at first, until the later floors where the devs…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, if you want to see all routes, you must complete all character classes because they are tied to the respective class character.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Neat little dungeon crawler with a very light VN touch.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game, beautiful and easy. Good to relax after work. 75/100 PS Developer is actively responding to player requests and already tuned game balance.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very nice game. Dungeoncrawler with great art of cute girls and a little bit of visual novel. would absolutly recommend it, but the time limit is a very bad idea and makes it nearly unplayable :-( Had to restart multibple times always with a dead-end only because of not enought time left. Finally gave up to play the game

I could also recommend Sakura Dungeon, which is similar and a bit more polished but also has adult elements. +Visuals/art style +Music +Choice of 4 classes to start +Variety of party members to choose/unlock +Characters +Dungeon crawling +Variety of abilities +Level up weapons to unlock more powers +Key rebinding +Amount of content +HP recovers after battle +KOd characters still earn XP +Bonus for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →repetitive....boring plot...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am on the cusp of saying no to this game honestly, it's described as a VN with dungeon crawling elements but honestly you will spend 90% of your time going through 8 floors of the same walls in a dungeon that honestly looks bland as all heck, no patterns to it at all, no unique textures just plain white brick, some wooden doors and later on red, blue and green ice walls that serve as a puzzle and it's not bad actually as far as puzzles go, they got creative with it and it's one of it's good…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →(game played offline on the release week-end without the latest patches) - Nice dungeon crawling / puzzle game, a little rough on the edges. - Especially recommended to people who don't mind time limits / time management, even if it is not THAT strict (similar to old Atelier PS2 games) - Quite worth the price. Some mechanics are counter intuitive (such as leaving the dungeon as a way to solve puzzles) and (atm) a manual would be nice. Would welcome new dungeons, more (conversation) choices,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Serment - Contract with a Devil is an ambitious independent RPG that mixes visual novel storytelling with first-person dungeon exploration to create a surprisingly memorable adventure. Developed by Nkt Studio and published by Sekai Project, the game begins with an attention-grabbing premise: a young woman is revived after death through a pact with a devil, only to learn that her second chance at life comes with a steep price. She has a limited amount of time to settle her supernatural debt…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Удивительный данжен краул .
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, its fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good game that you can just play w/o stressing out ....and just to highlight there's nothing here +18 so dont worry
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is pretty decent. I'm impressed with what they manage to do with the Ren'py engine. One minor nitpick is that it's pretty slow to get started. I would have preferred it if I'd been dropped into the dungeon faster. One hour in & I've only just gotten to the dungeon. Still pretty decent if you like old-school dungeon crawlers tho. Definitely pick this one up on sale if you're into that sort of thing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game looks promising at first glance but there's a reason why it has so few reviews. This game is not a visual novel/dungeon crawler hybrid. It's a turn-based RPG with the occasional dialogue between characters. Is the dialogue and story good? No. Is the gameplay fun? Also no. The rpg/dungeon crawling mechanics are too simple and the game has some random and unnecessary mechanics like the crafting system and the fishing minigame, which don't add to the game. It feels like they're there…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An awkward and derivative dungeon crawler/sim/visual novel hybrid that does some things decently, some poorly, and none particularly well. The combat is cribbed from Labyrinth of Touhou and the time management plays out like a simplified Recettear, complete with weekly debts to pay off. Unfortunately, they don't fit together at all: the dungeon gives you more gold than you need to pay off your debts, buy all the items you want, and purchase a hefty helping of stat boosts (another thing cribbed…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm very mixed about this one score. RPG part is very mediocre. But for the fact that I did not dropped it halfway so I will give it 6/10, barely passed. GOOD Cute art and heart warming-ish story. RPG/combat is merciful and not punishing. HP is refilled every battle. You just lose some G from getting party wiped. etc. Only the last boss battle that is tricky and need best planning. Deadline objectives are very relaxed/merciful, So no crazy/serious optimization play required, good…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a game that focuses so much on dungeon crawling, the actual dungeons are awful. I have a decent rig, and I get about.... 4 FPS when moving around in a dungeon. I'm not sure if it's just laggy on my machine, or if it's pre-rendered at such low framerates. Then there's the combat. Even when there's trivial enemies, you need to move your mouse a lot to "spam attack", to the point that encounters are painful. Bottom line: my first hour of the game was SO MISERABLE because of this dungeon…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to open up with "I like this game, I had fun and I recommend it to anyone considering it" because I suspect the following review will focus on the negatives. But, none of the negatives ruined the game... but they hurt what could have been an amazing experience. While I'm not generally an engine guy, it's worth mentioning that this is probably hacked in a VN engine such as Ren'Py rather than a custom game engine. The reason it needs to be said is that it directly impacts the gameplay and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A short, but decent Ren'Py visual novel + dungeon crawler. On the downside, some time limited rewards may catch you off guard and lead to annoying money hoarding meta, but if you skim the game guides before playing, that can be mitigated.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got it for ~$5, worthwhile at that price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →too boring if on sale try it for sure the cute stuff might work on teens. the plot is ok but takes way too long to get started, the gameplay was too boring 5/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is very cute and very gay, I recommend it to anyone who wants a casual RPG with yuri moments.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not sure if this could be a good game or not. The controls are beyond rubbish. When I use the keyboard I feel like I should be using a controller, when I'm using a controller it feels like I'm missing controls, the mouse seems to not be able to click on some things, like it wasn't designed for mouse use either. It feels like they couldn't decide on what they wanted to use.. I've played cheaper similar games with no problem. Feels like something from the mid 1980s when menu systems were in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- This game has an amazing gameplay and very interesting, my rating is 88/100
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game to just pick up and play. The dungeons are really addictive, challenging and the music really good!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, I think for a small developer and for a first release, this game deserves more purchases. The game is very well done, and I've seen the dungeon delving Wizardry style of game play done a lot worse by games that cost double. The in game spinner mechanic as well as the orb puzzles are challenging, and honestly I probably spent a good 2 hours trying to fully solve all of the floors with their various usages of dungeon resetting and fast travel. It was well done and I think it deserves…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Edit: Originally I posted the game files were broken somehow and the game wouldn't load, but I tried to play again after the last update and all is good. I can't really say I'd recommend this game, but it isn't bad so I won't put a negative review. It just bored the crud out of me. I found it to be a total snooze fest. The girls are super cute but it wasn't enough to keep me engaged in the game play. I have better things to spend my time on. TL:DR Ok if you like cute anime girls but don't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I beat this only with the Warrior, but I enjoyed it a lot. I was able to plow through it in a weekend without feeling as though I missed too much, if anything at all. I know a second playthrough could be completely different, but stopping after one run is completely fine too. The music is enjoyable, and the visuals are solid. I liked the weapon mastery system as well as the combat system. Dungeon crawling is just a nice way to kill time every once in a while.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →May come back to do a proper review later, but in short, i love it ^^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice waifus to choose from, pretty good story i guess? GG
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, worth playing or at least taking a look into it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like dungeon crawling, I think you'll enjoy this game. If you like dungeon crawling and cute girls, you'll love this game. Despite what sounds like a scary or unfun looming time limit, this game has been updated and that is no longer even a valid concern. If you put in any effort whatever, you will be rolling in the gold. All the characters and creatures have great designs, and though I've only finished one route, I am excited to go through the other three routes to see what they have…
