unlabelledView post →finished Sephonie (store.steampowered.com/app/1248840/...), which took me around six hours. this game resonated with me in ways i didn't expect: diaspora trauma, the feeling of being small in the macro scale of international relations, long distance relationships... and it's a parkour game too.

unlabelledView post →1) Sephonie checking out the other games by Analgesic after playing Anodyne 1 and 2 last year tbh,, i feel like i only stuck with this game out of a sense of obligation,, the narrative of this one is just, not really engaging for me and some of the platforming felt Overly Finnicky
unlabelledView post →37) Sephonie Analgesic’s previous game. Scientists go on a platforming and puzzle game adventure to understand the ecosystem of an island to fight a virus. Wow, the real life problem this was satirizing sure hasn’t been fixed, huh?
unlabelledView post →8) Angeline Era Really cool bump-slash action-adventure game. I haven't had the chance to play because it just came out, but the physics and mechanics look really fun. Definitely worth checking out. Same dev behind Anodyne 1 and 2 and Sephonie. store.steampowered.com/app/2393920/...
unlabelledView post →Heard a weird similarity to a synth from a song from the game Sephonie by @hantani.bsky.social and "Rock with You" by Michael Jackson, they're almost identical - pretty neat! Kinda makes me wonder if it was an emulation vst of a similar synth used in the MJ song or something.
unlabelledView post →How is no one talking about #AngelineEra? It's so good, and it's from a known talent, the developer of Anodyne and Sephonie. This game deserves so much buzz.
unlabelledView post →Looking back, I played several great games in 2023. My top five for the year were: 5) Iron Lung 4) Devotion 3) Sephonie 2) Citizen Sleeper 1) Disco Elysium * I started EarthBound on the last day of 2023, so it will likely be the first game I finish in 2024. ** itch.io games will be linked below.
unlabelledView post →I'm trying to avoid getting bundles unless they've got loads of games I want... So of course they put out a 3d platformer bundle full of cool games. Already had Mail Time (v cute and great) and Yellow Taxi (incredible, funny, schmovement game) but got Sephonie, Anodyne, Koa, Tin Hearts and Frogun.
unlabelledView post →When maybe available on PS5? Sephonie was a beautiful game
unlabelledView post →If you like the expressive platforming and impeccable vibes of Pseudoregalia I highly recommend Sephonie. Different style of platformer but lots of good shared DNA. QOMP was a cool puzzle/navigation game about being a ball from Pong that can change its trajectory mid-flight; short and sweet.

unlabelledView post →5. Sephonie was such a little treat of a game to play, this is my fav piece from the soundtrack
unlabelledView post →finished Sephonie, as much a tender and thoughtful game about connections as Anodyne 2. loved it a lot. have had the ONYX link song stuck in my head since youtu.be/Yl6xfPaoBp0?...
unlabelledView post →Melos Han-Tani (one of the devs behind Anodyne, Even the Ocean, Sephonie etc.) did a very cool review of Nemuru Mayu on their blog explaining some of the systems and general flow of the game. May help with the figuring out part! melodicambient.neocities.org/posts/2020-1...
unlabelledView post →Anodyne is one of the weirdest Zelda-style games I've ever played. Anodyne 2 and Sephonie are also supposed to be good but I haven't played them yet.
unlabelledView post →We have a fresh game review now up on the website on Analgesic Productions newest console port Sephonie! Please give it a read here 👇 https://thewolfiepod.com/sephonie
unlabelledView post →Thank you for making the game, Angeline Era social media account!! I love this game. (Big Anodyne/ Sephonie fan too tbh, so I should have known it would be amazing.)
unlabelledView post →Okay finished Sephonie and yep, what a special game!!
unlabelledView post →maybe i need to give Sephonie another shot. i remember bouncing offa that game hard as hell.
unlabelledView post →I just finished the game Sephonie, and oh my goodness it was such a beautiful experience. The story is very touching, the platforming is expertly crafted, and the soundtrack is incredible. Please give it a shot.
unlabelledView post →The story in particular does literally everything I wanted to see more of from an Analgesic game since beating Sephonie, and I was a fool to ever doubt a change in artstyle meant a change in tone or direction. Immaculate work, awards are wasted on it.
unlabelledView post →How the hell does Sephonie not have more of a following?! I love that game so much.
unlabelledView post →Any game by Analgesic Productions, especially All Our Asias, Even the Ocean, and Sephonie
unlabelledView post →Sephonie is the other game i've played that feels pretty similar, where the entire focus of the gameplay is on the act of platforming. could call it a parkour simulator, maybe?
unlabelledView post →What game is this? The name is so generic its unsearchable. The soundtrack is by Melos Han-Tani, the composer of many of Analgesic Productions games (Anodyne, Sephonie, All Our Asias etc)
