The ability to scale in and out to play with everything in a macro and micro level is awesome! Just like the videos show, you can create rooms, trees, mountains, and everything your mind can conceptualize and then zoom in and out to add unreal levels of detail. The demo videos showing a tree-within-a-tree-within-a-tree isn't exaggerating slightly: it really has about 6-7 levels of "trees" in their demo scene. The most fun I had with this was in multiplayer. Fire up a team Skype call with your…

I actually like this better than TiltBrush. In SculptrVR you can build a castle the size of yourself and then shrink down and explore it and build the details. I spent an hour making a little fort on the side of a cliff with trenches and underground passageways, chiseling out tunnels and building walls Minecraft-style with the block tool. And yes, the hang glider is as fun as it looks. The game comes pre-packaged with tons of huge destructible maps, and one of them is a massive tree…

SculptrVR is uniquely great. It is a much more powerful experience than Tilt Brush which seems comparable at first glance. In SculptrVR you get a sense of volume in the space right away with even the default ball of voxels. The ability to scale and teleport gives you the ability to change your perspective in a big way. The most telling thing is that my daughter made an entire island in SculptrVR as the first thing she ever did in the Vive. She made a hut with a bed, a pool, a boat and…

SculptrVR is very nice modelling program. The interface is very simple and you don't need precision in numbers. It's already very precisie thanks to endless world space and you can zoom in far and out almost endless. This means you can create small or big worlds what you like! Use layers to keep everything separated. I did also checked MasterpieceVR which has almost same work system and goals as SculptrVR. (Google Tiltbrush is not made for pure modelling - it has no export options to edit…

As far as I can tell, SculptrVR is the first of its kind in that people can use it to build at vastly differing scales. I've dreamed of an app like this for a while now, so it's not surprising that it kept me busy for several hours. However, in case the developer is open for suggestions, there are a couple of things that can be addressed: There aren't very many options for tools; just sphere, cube, rocket, spraycan, and this one projectile-orb thing that I can't get to work (plus their eraser…

This is an amazing application. Nothing else in VR lets you scale yourself down to the size of a bug all the way to a size of a mountain, with just the swiping of the thumb. Creating huge worlds is incredibly easy, intuitive, and satisfying. Very hard to describe, but even a non-artist like myself can space out in this insanely awesome app. Can't recommend it enough. I bought this when the vive first came out, and thought it was cool, but I had so many other things I wanted to try in vr. Four…

You love pixel art ? I'm sure you do. You love 3D ? VR ? Minecraft ? Build giant and small scale stuff, full of details ? It's all that and more. You can scale yourself as a giant to build mountains within minutes. Then scale down to carve tunnels and mines in it with missiles. And finally scale down some more to decorate your own personnal Moria with fine sculptures, so small that only you know they're there. Also, multiplayer is coming. it's a no-brainer.

designed with the vive controller in mind To use the undo / redo buttons one has to aim their dominant hand at their other and manually select the respective buttons, it is awkward. The extra buttons on the index controller are unable to be mapped to anything.

I only use the app professionally for modeling, so the review is only from that perspective. The ability to scale in and out to play with everything in a macro and micro level is probably the best feature, and opens up so much possibilities! The export function is robust, though prone to errors with complex scenes. For professional use, the app has incredible potential and is quite robust but unfortunately, probably due to the non-professional target audience, is not fully realized. I…

Not sure if it was my fault somehow but several actions in the game caused it to nearly crash, and needed a restart to fix the lag anyway. Like taking a picture with the camera, also i have no clue what i'm doing. It just throws you straight in, not even a menu screen you just get right to sculpting. It looks like the controllers are based off of vive controllers... (i'm on oculus) so some of the buttons i don't have, and i tried all of the buttons to see if maybe they were just mapped to one…

Super cool, but desperately needs an in-game tutorial. You have to figure out all the controls by yourself, which is not the easiest. New update completely fixes my issues with that. Super cools, controls are now fairly intuitive, and performance is improved significantly from previous versions.

So far this has the best combination of Modbox and Google Tilt design software I've used. As an artist, architect and UX designer, this one has the best blend of pure art design and standard architectural blocks akin to building in a VR LegoWorld. While the tools are extremely simple at the moment, the author's logic structure is the best so far I've seen, making it super fast to create whatever project I'm working on. I'm guessing with time this tool is only going to get better, but for the…

Incredible Experience! Comparing this to Tilt Brush is apples to oranges. It has a completely different feel. As others have already pointed out, there are a number of things that could be improved. -more variation in color palette -undo/redo -ability to clone a segment and replicate it anywhere -ability to position avatar anywhere in space ( a temporary ramp could be created underneath to make it feel less strange) -a way to smooth an edge -additional brushes (or create custom brushes) -I…

Makes me want to create stuff, and it’s a blast with family/friends. The absolute size of what you can make is huge, great for concepting and raw creative output(way less heavy processing needed compared to medium), easy enough to import into blender, quest version also works great, little-to-no compromise. Only down side is it doesn’t have the same power as something like medium, but at the same times it’s not meant to be and as stated before, it’s loads faster than medium because it’s not…

It's not a bad sculpt app- but def not a good one for casual players its hella cool and it works- but I was looking for one that was more.... professional focused? I guess? The lack of a tool to increase the polygon count on the model so it can be more easily be smoothed is dissapointing, and there is a terrible lack of brushes. I would like to see some tools that allow you to move things based on where you grab them, and the ability to "iron" things flat.

This is ideal for making ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with friends, not really ideal for any serious sculpting workflow. That being said, it really is ideal for making ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with friends. I've had a ton of fun having sculpt sessions with buddies, then scaling ourselves down and making dioramas inside of spongebob's brain or something.

This truly is the Ms Paint of Vr 3d modeling. With Multiplayer!!! The glory of the original ms paint is an experience onto it's self, now take that that same Raw feeling you get it right here... And it's still being perfected! It's fast, and hard as a diamond. It can run your computer on easy street, or throw it into the flames in space with "quality" settings. One of the first apps I bought for my Oculus Quest. I loved it so much that I purchased it again for PC through Steam. This app really shines with multiplayer! There is a little bit of a learning curve, but it's not too bad at all. Once you get the hang of the tools the worlds you can create are absolutely infinite. Definitely recommend!

I have tried a few sculpting programs, but this is the one I always return to. I started tinkering with it with no prior experience in 3D sculpting and found it intuitive in a way no other program since has proven to be. Exporting is a simple affair, updates are reliably improvements and there is a great deal of potential yet unrealized. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this tool! It has always been one of my goto VR apps. It is the most humanly intuitive 3D model creation tool that I have experienced. And I have experienced them all. My favorite was walking into the first VR arcade in my city and seeing a very interesting blocky 3D plastic print on display. I asked them how they made it and they told me they used SculptrVR!

This game is totally awesome! I highly recommend this game to anyone that enjoys building worlds. The ability to resize the user up and down is unique to SculptrVR and a must-have VR experience. The new block model import feature allowed me to get some real world structures and topographic features loaded in. The developers keep on adding new features and I can't wait to see what is coming in future releases. Anything you can imagine is possible with SculptrVR!

Best $20 I have spent on the Vive yet by FAR. I love Tilt Brush very much but this program scratches an itch that I don't think Tilt Brush ever will. I guess it still early days. Excited for the new tools coming and copy / paste will be neat. I notice the grip buttons dont seem to be used yet. This is a pretty great world-making program. Tilt-brush's painting style mostly only works to draw 2d stuff in a 3d world, while this one is definitely 3d-driven. It still has several features that I would like to have (more than 16 colors is a huge one for me right now), but it is definitely really nice already. Would definitely recommend.

I like the game so far. Being able to build at multiple sizes and scale yourself is amazing. A few suggestions to improve it: - Expanded color palette - Undo / redo shortcuts (tiltbrush does this with a left click on the trackpad - Visual indicator of scale (sometimes it's hard to know what size I was at when making something) - Block snap, at certain block size / scale combos the snapping is more of a hinderance than a help when it doesn't line up. Looking forward to seeing future…

Very cool sandbox voxel painting app. You can kind of build you own minecraft style voxel worlds and then the coolest part is to scale yourself down and teleport around the world you build. It would be great to be able to then use these worlds in a game of some sort, so I can definitely see that coming one day either to ScultVR or another game like this. I would say that the price is way too high for the current state of the app, so maybe wait until a bigger sale to pick this up one unless you…

I think I'd would probably come to love this quickly, but currently I have a hard time getting anything done in it due to accidentally grabbing everything constantly. With my hands at rest (Index Controllers), this counts as a grab, and in order for me to not grab I have to fully extend all my fingers, which can be a bit of a pain. Some sort of setting to calibrate how close my fingers need to be or how hard I need to grab for the control to trigger would be vastly appreciated. -edit- As I…

This is an awesome tool. One of those things that really underscores the possibilities of VR in a delightfully intuitive way. Growing up, Myst was one of my favorite games. I loved the idea of being able to make and shape a surreal island to your own whim, and to teleport around to other islands that had been created. It seemed like magic.
