Holiday Haunt’ director Michael Kurinsky calls for the shelved film to finally be released following the success of ‘Coyote vs. Acme.’ “It is every bit a Scooby-Doo mystery ready to be watched every Christmas with an A-list cast.” The film was completed after being shelved by WB.

unlabelledView post →And obviously NO film should be shelved for tax purposes. They should release BATGIRL and the new animated SCOOB movie. It doesn't matter if they're brilliant (and considering how good COYOTE VS. ACME is, we have no reason to believe WB when they said otherwise) or stinky. They deserve better.
unlabelledView post →I watched Scoob! The movie was 1h 34m long. ngl this movie was pretty banger! My favorite thing about this movie was the humor, it was hilarious and had a ton of killer one-liners! The movie was also action-packed, and I liked the art style! It was a fun movie with a familiar and nostalgic cast!

Impossible to improve upon perfection when dealing w/Iwao Takamoto's classic Scooby design, so not sure how much of a success there are 🤷♂️ #ScoobyDoo
unlabelledView post →My thought for the morning. I still remain staggered that a major film company deleted completed films to get a short term tax break. Batgirl, Scoob: Holiday Haunt and Coyote Vs Acme may have been great, may have been terrible. But they were each destroyed by corporate vandalism.
unlabelledView post →It's so weird to me that Scooby Doo is a cartoon institution and he's only ever had one theatrical, fully animated movie that...doesn't even have a mystery in it. Or any of the voice cast outside of Frank Welker. Criminal really, and I'm a Scoob apologist...

unlabelledView post →Man. Sad remarks from a director of SCOOB! HOLIDAY HAUNT, the third completed movie WB cancelled for a tax break on a post about Pam Abdy and Michael De Luca's ouster, saying they were responsible along with Zaslav for shelving the movie and Abdy only called him after the news leaked on Twitter.

unlabelledView post →I didn't like Scoob, and I can't see this one being any better, but everyone who worked on this movie deserves for it to see the light of day. I hope it will.

unlabelledView post →Coyote VS Acme was such a fun, and beautiful movie. Absolutely an instant favorite for us to go along with The Day the Earth Blew Up. 💚💚💚 Fuck David Zaslav for trying to stuff both flicks away. Hoping that with the recent string of releases that the SCOOB sequel might be unearthed.
unlabelledView post →I'm hoping when WB reveals the upcoming looney tunes movie, they don't try to make a cinematic universe with looney tunes like showing they learned nothing from Scoob. like just make a good story that gets the humor, characters that's all I want!

unlabelledView post →1) Way to ruin the surprise. 2) This and Pikmin being in the Mario Galaxy Movie gives me SCOOB (2020) vibes, and idk how to feel about that. 3) It’s funny that Fox might be here because Star Fox is dormant now and this was the only way to majorly rejuvenate interest in the IP.

unlabelledView post →A big issue for getting a Coyote vs Acme campaign going for Scoob Holiday Haunt- it's a spinoff of an already discredited movie. People in general didn't like Scoob. Coyote vs Acme was an independent spinoff starring a beloved underdog.

unlabelledView post →I feel two things are true: Warner Bros. didn’t write off ‘Coyote vs. ACME’. They were going to, backlash ensued, hence the film being up for sale. This won’t happen to ‘Batgirl’ and ‘Scoob! Holiday Haunt’. And, “you better see it!” I feel we make up a small portion of the moviegoing public.

unlabelledView post →Remember when WB gave us that Scoob movie, that was barely even a Scooby-Doo film and didn't even use the actors that have been portraying the characters on TV for ages? Yeah no I guess when I wanted to see a movie with Shaggy in it, I didn't want him to sound like fucking Shaggy.

Whoever the design artist is,they did a fantastic job at paying attention to subtle details. Scooby had never had proper paw pads before this film. unlabelledView post →The only films I truly disliked (upon rewatch) are Transformers: The Last Knight, Ralph Breaks The Internet, Pacific Rim: Uprising, and Scoob! I'm sure Super Mario Galaxy isn't the "death of cinema". There are many "deep" films. Why shouldn't I enjoy a film that's equivalent to a birthday cake?

But it's more likely they will just be cameos/special appearances. Let's wait and see.
