In Bruges is bleak comedy done right, Shock = climbing the corporate ladder sucks, Scary Movie 2 is dated yet still funny to me, but the newest entry was a bit of a letdown.

I can imagine that if someone were to open his skull it would be like that scene in Scary Movie 2 when the butler opened Shortys skull, but now it would be a miniature Putin yelling Russian bullshit and Trump just spits out word vomit because he doesn't understand what the fuck he's saying.

neutral · AI labelView post →Wouldn't say I love it but I really liked Not Another Teen Movie when I first saw it. Not sure how it holds up but the parody it makes of those high school romcoms was good. In a similar vein, Scary Movie 2 and 3 were also really funny to me as a kid.

Can anyone remember seeing this watch on any of these characters? Taking watch to jeweler 2day bc we think it might be real 😮

positive · AI labelView post →He's dead? I just watched Scary Movie 2 and was wondering why I hadn't seen him in a while :(
neutral · AI labelView post →Just thinking of the films I've seen Tim Curry in, one that he felt sadly wasted in was Scary Movie 2. He's a perfect actor to play the shady man inviting people for a spooky night (Clue anyone?), but he's given nothing to work with, the Wayans were clueless on how to use him.
negative · AI labelView post →Now watching Scary Movie 2 (2000)! 👻🏚 I don't know how I missed that it was the 25th anniversary on July 4th! Starring my all-time favorite actor Tim Curry, and even having been butchered in the editing process, it's an absolute gem of a film/worthy follow up to the first! 🎞
positive · AI labelView post →Classic horror film, RIP to William Friedkin. Still a great movie, but I still can't not think of the opening scene in Scary Movie 2. I miss when parodies were funny. (And, in the case of the new one, I miss when comedy wasn't hijacked by right-wingers.)
