Classic Sci-Fi "The Running Man" with Arnold as a wrongly convicted man forced to participate in a televised survival game show where he races against other inmates for his freedom. #DemVoice1 #ProudBlue #MomSky youtu.be/g_QHzV3NVPk?...
neutral · AI labelView post →I only know him through osmosis, but if you told me "Mr. Beast's show where he hunts you for sport is in its fourth season. Yeah, it's like The Running Man, except you don't get anything when you win. My kids love it," I'd believe you.
neutral · AI labelView post →my mom was one of the dancers for the game show opening in THE RUNNING MAN (1987) but you can see her shaking her head no and frowning the whole time so everyone in the dystopia knew she didn’t agree with their politics
neutral · AI labelView post →Just reading Stephen King’s The Running Man where, in a dystopian future of economic decline and violence, citizens compete in a reality show in which to win money they have to escape a squad of hitmen sent to kill them. It’s set in 2025.

neutral · AI labelView post →I produce reality TV. Read my bio. It’s all true. I’ve developed shows with interesting, and at times, fringe people. Aside from the disgusting premise of producing a real-life Running Man with DHS and Noem, there’s no fucking way a network’s BA/Legal department lets this show get made. Sick people

neutral · AI labelView post →WTH? So basically a gateway "The Running Man" show...? (And if you've read the Steven King story--very different from the Arnold movie--you'd know this isn't too far off.)
neutral · AI labelView post →The Running Man (2025). Lukewarm word of mouth made me enjoy it at first more than I was expecting to but it's a floating series of concepts, point of view characters and phases of project development that never knit into a cohesive whole. The best Running Man movie of 2014.
neutral · AI labelView post →With America set to self-destruct, I'll write about a relevant movie each week to address the ongoing crisis. positive · AI labelView post →Between this and DHS’s “immigrant reality TV show”, it won’t be long before The Running Man becomes a reality. What a nightmare.
neutral · AI labelView post →The opening scene of the Running Man book has a tv show where contestants with heart conditions are forced to run on treadmills, gaining more money every minute, until they get a heart attack. It was supposed to show how sadistic the dystopia was.

neutral · AI labelView post →The Running Man (1987): Arnold Schwarzenegger competes in a deadly game show in this very loose adaptation of the Stephen King book. Wright's remake is the better film, this was flawed at the time and is quite dated now, but there's plenty of entertaining camp, and Richard Dawson steals it.
neutral · AI labelView post →The Running Man was released in 1987, 38 years ago. The dystopian future that saw a game show as entertainment for the masses called the Running Man …was set in the year… 2017! The cast is pretty incredible
neutral · AI labelView post →Glen Powell plays a working-class father risking it all in the world's deadliest game show in The Running Man, opening in theaters on November 14. 🏃
neutral · AI labelView post →The meticulous levels that The Running Man goes to show how the capitalist state manufactures consent is incredible. American propaganda isn't a subliminal message that says "CONSUME," it's people cheering on the extrajudicial murder of political prisoners by a hockey man named Professor Sub Zero.
positive · AI labelView post →This looks like a game show from the Running Man universe

neutral · AI labelView post →You look at Powell and you think superhero, "Fast and Furious" guest star, or Amazon military dude show. Instead you get Edgar Wright's "Running Man", attempts to buy "Texas Chainsaw" and a Hulu comedy series spinning off from a documentary. It's not at all what you expect. And it rocks.
