Rugrats
Created by Arlene Klasky, Paul Germain, Gábor Csupó
Focuses on a group of toddlers, most prominently Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, and Angelica, and their day-to-day lives, usually involving common life experiences that become adventures in the babies' imaginations. Adults in the series are almost always unaware of what the children are up to; however, this only provides more room for the babies to explore and discover their surroundings. From TMDB

We call it Sunday Brunch Cartoons, and we're nearly two years into it without missing a day. I'm releasing a full list of our watch queue, with the hopes that you can think of something really good (or memorably bad) that we should include. No 70s Hanna-Barbera. https://feddit.uk/pictrs/image/a12bea0c-89fb-4c86-a610-f231583719ad.webp Plaintext: Title…

Times openly challenging who created the show. The Rugrats video is gonna be more wild than you'd think.

I'm looking for work! 👁️ 👁️ I co-created the Nick short The Night Crew & the comic Jonesy, & created the Frankie Fairy early reader series. I've most recently revised & boarded on Rugrats s2 & s3, and revised on Amphibia s2 & s3!

neutral · AI labelView post →BlueSky can be summed up by the fact the origin of this debate was a shitpost about the 1990s Nickelodeon cartoon “Rugrats,” an animated series about talking infants who make poop jokes.
neutral · AI labelView post →I know print is "dead" but goodness I loved that era where every tv show had a magazine tie in with a toy. The one I recall collecting in full was the Rugrats around the world set. The lil passport with stickers was so cute.
positive · AI labelView post →It’s so fun watching a generation whose childhood entertainments meant nothing to me become the dominant generation in media. Because now you can have stuff like a heart-wrenching, deep, soulful adaptation of like RUGRATS or something and in my mind I’m like “excuse me that’s a show for BABIES”
negative · AI labelView post →i know i'm 20 years late to this but have you guys seen aeon flux???? like, i just saw a man fuck his girlfriend to completion through a hole in the sci-fi berlin wall and they aired this shit on MTV???? the whole show is insane. also it has the same soundtrack as Rugrats basically.

neutral · AI labelView post →what if we were a quirky cast of cartoon babies that were friends because our families got along much like the hit nickelodeon televisual series Rugrats™ except we're animals and the show focused on how much we use our diapers to a weird degree that sparks annoying online discussions decades later

neutral · AI labelView post →It's funny how SpongeBob has a higher budget nowadays. The show originally was a low-budget production when it started, with Rugrats being the higher budget one at the time.
