positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a decent start for a game in early access. Not to many issues. Fun for a little while. definitely can not wait for some more content. The songs do get a bit difficult. since I am a disabled gamer I have a tough time when the songs get to using 4 buttons. Other than that the songs are not bad.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →everything is "coming soon" and yet the game is apparently finished.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →they have worked on every detail, Start your career as a street artist and climb the ladders to be a rockstar but you gotta work hard, You need money and as a street artist you dont earn much so you need extra jobs to get some cash. Interactions with NPC's are great especially "Flirting" you must show what you got cuz there is an "AI Chat" whos answering you so they might not like you if you say something weird. You must give a chance to this game and experience the fun with your way.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wouldn't recommend - I bought this at full release, but a large part of the map seems to be blocked of with a 'coming soon' wall and one of the functions in game is still tagged as 'beta'. World feels super empty - the few shops I went into were huge with empty space everywhere. Also I played as a woman but the game made me......pee standing up? You have to pee regularly and manually aim at the toilet...standing up................................umm wot. Bought as it looked like an…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →How can this game be released from EA when there's still so many 'upcoming' features in it? Very weird. This only tells me that the game is probably abandoned.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Compared to other rockstar games, the content seems rather lacking for the "rock star life". The last big update devs spent a lot of time working on casino stuff - which does very little to flesh out the "rock star life", as I told the devs - adding things, all of us non-rock-stars can already do in real-life, does very little to create the "rock star life". They also did a major content update where you get to live out the rockstar part? NO! Rather you can do some kind of maffia/ smuggling…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Instead of pouring down dozens of simulators, finish a game just for once. They are another company trying to milk the gamers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is unfinished, even at "full release" - Devs are using outdated game engine. Like most of the products on the market, they have great ideas but fall well short of being a memorable game. Next.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a pretty fun game for its price, I enjoyed my time on it. Especially being able to paint your guitar is a nice touch. If anything, you can just paint some guitars to spend your time on it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bad UI, clunky movement, and a very outdated 3D. I would choose a 2D game anyday over a bad 3D one. Not for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring, buggy, unfinished mess. Don't expect any updates in the future, as the game hasn't really been patched since the 1.0 release in January 2025. The devs haven't updated any of their games in the past three months. They went from working on one game (Rockstar Simulator) to working on SEVEN games. They are really just churning out AI slop. If you don't believe me, just look at the AI disclaimers on their games. Since the devs didn't really finish Rockstar Simulator, they definitely aren't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought the game today and played it for 12 hours straight, it's really an excellent game, but I have 2 requests from you, the first of my requests is that we should be able to chat with our lover or friend as much as we want, there should be no limit for this, my second request is that please let us determine the difficulty level of the songs we will write, playing the songs becomes so difficult after a while that it becomes impossible to play new songs. If you see this comment, please think…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i bought the game few days ago!i was hyped by the video and the announcement!but in the end when you have achieved almost everything you have nothing to do because it has a lot of coming soon items and stores!the ai chat is nice but as i said it needs more time and updates .in this status after some time the game starts to be boring!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good take on real time chat mechanics with all other fun on the side
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's good Simulator. Messages are not automatic, they are answered by artificial intelligence based on what you write. I have never seen ai chat before in some simulator.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really bad, really buggy... don't waste your money
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This would be a neutral rating for me. I feel like it should be an early access game. The town feels really dead with not much to do. There are 'coming soon' signs everywhere. This includes an entire area of the map, the motorbike shop, world tour gig, and the furniture store. The theme of the game is to become the biggest rock star around. Increase your charisma, friendship and lover stats in order to write more songs and play to bigger audiences. Take on jobs (mini games) to earn extra cash,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rock Star Life Simulator, a rhythm game x life sim hybrid game, released on Steam.
unlabelledView post →It's not bad. I think it feels extremely empty for being so close to full release, though. Even though there's lots of clothes, cars, and guitars to buy and a few skills to grab and stuff, it just doesn't feel like there's really all that much to see. Game's cheap, though... Just wish it felt more... gamey.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a cool idea for a game and all but it just feels like a mid mobile game u can download of google play for free. I just feel like it the price isn't justified. I wouldn't buy it if I could reverse time. No hate to the developers
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Hot Coffee" mod when?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a good concept idea, bad execution. the world feels empty and plain, tutorial is not the best, repetitive jobs, half the things are "coming soon". IMO this feels like an early access version. it has potential, but rn is not good enough for a 1.0 version.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is genuinely awful. Its implementation of AI chatbots is... neat, I guess, but everything else about it is juuust bad. First off, the music: Its repetitive, short, and low-quality, the kind of thing you'd hear in a commercial. There's a few decent songs, but they're still short and sound like some royalty free no-copyright tripe. It seems like the developers got a few asset packs or assets and just... flipped them. Badly. Its a neat enough idea. The execution is just awful. The…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: Game is late alpha at best, waste no money. Update: Beat the game. Got all the achievements. Game isn't complete at all. This is clearly a game either being abandoned or intentionally being misrepresented by the developer as completed. In either case, it means nothing good for this game. Game uses open ai for chat with the love interests. Problem, if that connection fails for any reason, until restored, you cannot progress the game. The button for the chat even is still labeled 'beta'.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be honest the game is pretty fun, but they should keep updating this game because if not, it is going to be a dead game real fast
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rock Star Life Simulator has an interesting premise: start off as a nobody playing guitar on the street and work your way up to becoming a world famous rockstar. Unfortunately, the game's execution is so poor that it's almost unplayable. The graphics are incredibly outdated, lacks of polish, and the gameplay is clunky and repetitive. There are also a number of bugs and glitches that make the game even more frustrating to play. If you're looking for a fun and challenging rockstar simulator,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At the time of this review, I put in about 25 hours. I did two play-throughs. Once when it first came out, and again when it went 1.0 release just recently. I have to say that it doesn't feel like much has changed. When they put out their 1.0 release announcement, the devs listed the changes made from 0.1 to 1.0, which should be an indicator that they didn't do much in between that time. Also, a lot of the in-game features are still "coming soon" that have been there since initial release.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I needed money to buy a new car and a guitar. I decided to take advantage of the work that was presented in the game. The choice was flyer distribution, cargo, guitar repair and dealer (secret). I chose dealer because they gave me the most money. I received a text from the "supplier", found the "product", but gave it to the wrong person. I was charged a debt of $5,000 and immediately put in jail. Now I'm repairing guitars to pay off a debt. I recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i like the game, but when i drive towards the other side of the city the game starts to lag and stutter bad. idk if anyone else is having this issue. if i can get the lag/stuttering issue resolved i would recommend the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This indie game reminds me of Guitar Hero! I used to love that game. Of course it's still new, but I am so excited for them to add more to the game. It needs more houses, clothes, vehicles, and areas. I haven't beat it completely yet, but almost there. The game definitely has potential! The option to chat is pretty cool too. Overall, I don't regret buying it for the price. It's an entertaining and chill game, but it's simple. Not too much action. If you're a simulator/money management type…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 game i hit some one in a car and wrote a song about peeing on people in public like R kelly will play again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Guitar Hero meets Bully (Early Access). Pretty much says it all. Fun if you like rhythm games, and open world.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish I have more games wi AI interactions like that. Its super funny and you can take your Story to whatever you want... Jogo muito divertido e a inteligência artificial funciona perfeitamente em PT-BR.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like real life, no women become my girlfriend. Music is great! Waaaay better than Guitar Hero. It's getting better and better!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. Saw Stevie T play it and thought it looked cool. Won 300 dollars gambling and spent it all at a vending machine.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly kinda boring, needs more customization like custom songs and more art. the ai chat gets boring fast also. good start but needs more for sure.

unlabelledView post →The game is great, but we definitely need more than one slot to save the game, because I would record one for youtube and the other one I would switch, so I would switch in several different ways as well. I can't wait for new updates.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very janky, expected some bugs here and there, the rhythm game part is not really in beat of the music but still playable. But that doesn't make the game not fun. It's fun, please keep updating it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →(sigh) Twenty one years ago in 2003, Electronic Arts did a much better job with the release of their Superstar expansion for The Sims. The graphics, the action, the songs, the animation, the content -- all of it was far superior to this effort, despite the passage of time with other inspired works such as The Sims 3, Guitar hero, Rock Band -- well, that's it for me, but all of these (including The Sims Superstar from 2003) were incomparably superior in making me feel like a rock star. I think…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is great fun. I love a simulation game which uses skill trees, allows you to talk and build relationships with NPC's and is quite free roam. It's fun that you can make your own decisions, explore and use your income to buy things. I think the game is fair and balanced, meaning you don't have to grind to make enough money to progress. Although I am a guitarist myself, I enjoy that the game isn't fully orientated around the guitar and also incorporates different aspects of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is really shallow atm, the Song playing is quite boring would need some improvements to be anywhere near the levels of say Guitar Hero. Not much to do in the game. I unlocked the studio and played at the best stage that's all the content for now.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love how I am Rock Star on my 9 to 5 and then I come home and do it all again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game is still very buggy, currently not worth the $12. needs a lot of work, may areas still not implemented, so just a tease.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I felt relevant for a couple of hours. My dog was jealous. I rocked hard. I partied hard.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This simulation game is one of the best I've ever played. It has excellent mechanics and gameplay. If you're a fan of simulation games, this is a must-have. The artificial intelligence integration is impressive, making it feel like you're talking to a human. Even the AI alone is worth the purchase. Despite being in early access, the game already offers a substantial amount of content. It is expected to improve even further with future updates.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is really fun to rebuild the career of a rockstar. A perfect adventure awaits me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretending to be a rockstar was cool, you should give it a chance!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is very fun! Although has so much potential, and falls so short. The driving controls & feel are honestly mid, and kind of bad. The flirting with ai is very repeatitive no new dialogue, the city doesn't allow that "Rockstar" feel to it, instead just pump dump and repeat the same things, make a band, once all songs are finished not able to complete anymore or custom, better yet ACTUALLY make your own songs, instead just songs that you play that were pre-recorded, ofcourse it is for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really cool game. I thought in the prologue that the flit cooldown would be annoying in the main game, but its not really something to be annoyed about. There are some things missing and the "love" scene is rather funny then serious but the main mechanics are really cool, even if you are not that into rythm games, like me. I looking forward to see what comes in the future. i can highly recommend this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cant even load into career ♥♥♥♥ game before releasing a game make sure it works I'd rather listen to taylor swift then play this monstrosity
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got an angry cop on my back cuz I accidentally peed through the wall of an outdoors toilet. So yeah, the game is yank. But to me that is part of the fun. Flirting is fun, the AI is very fun to chat to. The rhythm game is fun but too easy at first with the small amount of buttons. Hope someday we will get 6 key mode too. The simulation part is okay. It's definitely got that way too big and empty world feel though, but that in and of itself is very simulation indie game like which despite being…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First and foremost, this game has the potential to be something truly unique and amazing! That being said, it's definitely far from finished and unpolished. Pros: -Starting from the bottom and working your way up is a fun concept. - The AI chat system is absolutely amazing! It isn't perfect, but it works very well! - The beginning progression is good. - A lot of the initial concepts are intriguing. Cons: -Fighting feels like something just thrown in. Is very clunky and pointless. -Same with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I Really want to like this game. Unfortunately, my dexterity is almost non-existent. The game needs to scale down the Guitar Hero button-pushing for those who just want to experience the game, but cannot handle the button requirement. Hopefully, since it is Early Access, the developer will work out a solution that lets people with physical disabilities enjoy the game. {Crossing my fingers} *****UPDATED 04/21/24***** A huge shout out to the Dev, @cet, for responding to my original review…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At this point, fairly boring. Wake up, pee 30 feet from the toilet, eat canned food, hit some buttons in proper order to write or play a song. Almost have the stadium unlocked, still just you and a drummer as the band, no skills for the characters. Just.... not fun to me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved the guitar playing mechanics. I also really liked the songs we were able to play. The flirting parts of the game never caught my attention. I was always chasing music. But I also found repairing guitars to make money very appropriate and creative. The biggest problem in the game is that the city is too big. My advice is that if you have money, choose to travel by bus, the first car is very slow :D It is a very successful game for the first version. Small note: The price may increase in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Yes! But, you can't just say it, man. You've gotta feel it in your blood and guts! If you wanna rock, you gotta break the rules. You gotta get mad at the man! And right now, I'm the man. That's right, I'm the man, and who's got the guts to tell me off? Huh? Who's gonna tell me off?" 10/10, totes stoked for the roadmap! "We roll tonight, to the guitar bite, and for those about to rock, I salute you."
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pretty fun game and cool idea, but the AI chat system needs to be ran client-side somehow, requiring a constant stable internet connection for a game mechanic is silly and unreliable, people get constant connection errors.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so nostalgic for me... I love everything about it!! I am having so much fun with performing aka guitar hero/rock band-like format and playing the notes using keys on the keyboard. It's not too easy and not too hard. It's just enough to be challenging in a game-like way and not too much where it would be annoying, it's just RIGHT. I also love gradually increasing popularity and growing relationships. My goal is to eventually ask the bartender out lol I think if you loved playing…
