While I did enjoy the game when I first played it years ago, I can't recommend you buy it as it is now since they added Enigma Protector, which is a dubious anti-cheat program that persists on your machine, even if you uninstalled the game. There are also major concerns of Enigma potentially harboring a virus/malware in its system, which has yet to be determined to be true or false. The only reason why they added it in is because Capcom has taken an insane anti-modding stance ever since a…

Happy Yuyuko Tuesday! The current vibe is thinking about Resident Evil 5! ngl RE5 was an awesome game! It was tons of fun to play through in co-op with a friend, and it was an action-packed thrill ride all the way through! I hope you have a wonderful day, I send love and positivity your way 💛☺️

Capcom didn't learn their lesson after the Revelations scandal. Instead of not adding DRM to older games at all, they started doing it quietly. I see no reason why a 16 year old game should have malicious DRM that also affects performance. Definitely not recommend. Buy only in green store

Playing Resident Evil 5 brings back great memories of my older brother. He used to play this a lot when I was seven years old. He would give me an unplugged controller, but I still had a blast thinking I was actually playing the game with him, haha. That memory really stuck with me:)

This game opens with a close-up of Sheva's ass. Mid way through, Jill rips her top open to let her girls breathe. It all ends with a shirtless Wesker in a volcano telling Chris how he really feels. It's bizarre. Great game.

This track is called "Heat on Beat 2012"! Resident Evil 6 was a game that I quite enjoyed! I haven't played it since launch, but I loved action games back then, and Resident Evil 5 and 6 were awesome for that, Leon's opening scene in Resident Evil 6 went crazy! The Mercenaries mode was fun as well 😊

Wishing steam adds a middle option between Positive and Negative. Let's start with the obvious thing, this is a heavily co-op game, i played it on the Xbox360 with friends and my brother in it's time, great experience and immaculate fun all around. So yes i will 100% recommend this game ONLY if you're planning to play it with friends. After picking it back up i decided to play it alone and experience the story once more, so this is my list for the review: The Good: - Great Story…

I love this game, but retroactively adding DRM into a game approaching the 20 year mark is just absurd. Get rid of DRM. We already bought the game through a verified storefront in the first place. Why the heck does it need to be there at all?

Well it felt really trash at first as I was hoping it would be like RE4. Still it's not as good as RE4 but gets you hooked up after few hours of playing it. Also multiplayer is still active. Thanks to all the random players who helped with the boss fights.

RE5 is an interesting beast to me. It attempts in many ways to imitate the feel of RE4, to varying degrees of success. I think what it imitates best is the blend of action and "horror". I would personally call it more of a creep factor, than a horror factor but I found moments even in co-op where I felt an adrenal release. The action is tense, the settings are interesting and the gameplay is addicting. I never get tired of the melee combos, and neither does my brother that I have been playing…

Such a fun game to co-op (it's what carries this RE entry). Since the 75% sale and been big into RE after 9, figured it was time to re-experience the journey through West Africa all over again with a friend. Also, you get to play as Chris using 0.1% of his power level to punch a boulder. Can't beat that gaming experience. Short game, really fun co-op. Like 3 remake and 4 it's more of an action game than a horror one, still it's fun and even better if you play with a friend. Janky camera and the level desing felt weak compared to previous entries.

This is a weird game. While it's not perfect like RE4, it's also not a completely bad game. It's fun and enjoyable to play, either solo or in co-op. But as cool as the game looks and as fun as it is, I can't stop wondering: why the downgrade to almost every mechanic RE4 introduced?

A great, but flawed fast paced, action-focused CO-OP experience. It's still worth playing with a friend. 7.5/10 Resident Evil 5 is a fun, story driven 2 player co-op game with an emphasis on action instead of horror. It utilizes Resident Evil 4's mechanical blueprint for gameplay and it's great, but there's a few negatives that drags it down. Because a lot of people were hating on the stop and shoot mechanics. tbh i don't hate it at all. it actually gives the game a unique experience combined with the "piss filter" it really gave me a nostalgic feeling for the Xbox 360 days. Resident Evil 5 ended up being the best game I've played all year, largely because of how it completely transformed from what was supposed to be survival horror, into a co-op comedy experience from start to finish. I genuinely spent more time laughing at this game than playing it—not at any one thing in particular, but at the constant accumulation of absurd moments that kept building on each other. A big part of that came down to my friend's outfit. I don't even think I can properly explain…

Before reading this evaluation, it is important to note that I played it solo and in Veteran mode. I read that in coop it is pretty fun but I played every other RE games in solo so I wanted to keep the same experience with this one, which was in hindsight a terrible choice. Even though the beginning of the game was pretty fun, the second half makes it impossible to recommand it. Not perfect, but still a good RE game RE5 is nowhere near perfect, but I don’t think it’s a bad game in the franchise either. I actually miss this version of Chris in RE7 and RE8, and we desperately need Sheva Alomar back. Gameplay and difficulty The versus achievements are a nightmare, and Professional mode can be brutal. You basically die in one hit, and some sections are so chaotic that avoiding damage feels almost impossible. I’d honestly recommend playing it on Normal or Veteran. The…

If you plan on playing this game in singleplayer, don't. Shevas AI is absolutely horrible, the inventory system is designed for 2 people, on top of that the (M+KB) controls are horrible. The combat is repetitive, most of the bosses are more annoying to fight than anything else. Story was good though/some insanely funny animations/quotes. Might be an entirely different game in co-op, can't comment on that though.

RE5 is a good game, corny, interesting, and specially fun if you play it in co-op, because honestly that's the big selling point. I respect Capcom for being risky with this game. However, once you moved from the first chapter (which in my opinion is the best because it actually sets a tone that feels unique to the game), you'll notice how the game is more an action oriented game, which is not a bad thing, but a bad thing if you are thinking RE style solely. I've already played this game…

RE4 with less variety, a bigger, slower protagonist, and far too many black virus worms I can see the trepidation with which Capcom might have planned a sequel to their instant and eternal classic -- second-guessing themselves, trying to distance the new game just enough from its predecessor that it would cast its own shadow, going for a more serious tone. What they wound up with in the end, though, is precisely this: a pretty good stop 'n' shoot zombie crowd control game with a Chris…
