BUT after waiting 2 years(!) for the release, whereas it first said it should be released... we now have the same situation again. The developer seems to have big troubles updating and fixing the game bugs and updates. NO update-messages whatsoever for weeks and weeks. Bottom line: Give the game a lot more time and it might have developed into a great game. For now, take your time and do not buy it right away.

Even if you have a terrible facility you get plenty of people paying it, and not even complaining. Have a giant rec facility that has every item you can possibly build? It will definitely make less money than a tiny room with 10 pieces of equipment and no floors. There really is no incentive to build a nice facility in a game that has that as the main point.

I think I'll probably park it for a while and come back to it a bit later to see if it improves.

There seems to be no AI at all, once you have financial adviser you can just crank admission to max and you get it, no issues. There's a neat research tree that adds a ton of content as you progress through the sandbox & expand your gym/spa. RCT is actually very competent attempt with a lot of cool details and ideas. I still check back every now and again, but still no update. Hopefully they decide to come back to this game, as i enjoyed it up till the point i had completed it, until future updates. The notifications and tips pop up from time to time are very helpful. The game does not overload you with details from the beginning. Instead, it gradually allows you to unlock more features with research. In the end, you can freely do anything from setting prices to changing colour for the tiles. A good game for you to get back to "business"!

Glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews it's a good game that's playable. Developer is still working on it and active though I wish he would chime in on conversations more. If nothing else it would help bug reporting feel more rewarding and less lonely and just be a polite way of saying he saw it :). I love the gender doors and watching the people break off when they go in (you have to go through the locker rooms to get into my gym and pool, etc.). It is so neat and creative like real life. There aren't any quests or leveling up. I would play again if there was a sandbox mode, with character settings and game-start settings. I give it a positive recommendation because there are still updates, and it is possible that quests and sandbox mode will be available someday.

But the game isn't that expensive so it's probably worth the price. -it has a lot of bugs and it crashes every couple of hours, but it does autosave the game and you go a maximum of 10 minutes back. Despite that, I've found myself enjoying playing for 14 hours and foresee several more hours before I feel like I've seen most of the game has to offer at this point.
