The Purgatory franchise offers a unique experience, and I highly recommend it. Considering that the original and its sequel are free, the low price tag for this remake is more than justified, and I’m glad I could support the creator!

There was a lot more to this game and it seemed like a lot of it got removed and I'm unsure why. Ending 3-7 probably reference the second game but there's no real context (unless you get the baton ending) to figure that out so it felt random and boring to play through. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you play the nonsteam version of this game

Enri is extra cute! It isn't available in english right now but it might be localized in the future, so if you're interested, at least wishlist it.

The atmosphere created by the slightly better art assets, music, and sound design made it so. The second half is fine, though I care much less for it. Feels unfortunate the game didn't have more original assets for this section t make it feel better connected with the other half.

Puzzles are very simple only needing to know one or two things and the rest clicks together. Had a lot of fun getting all the endings as they are all unique in their own way. Can't wait for Purgatory 2 to come to stream/get a remake.

For those wondering if buying this RPG MZ game is worthwhile, I recommend you play the original purgatory game Nama made in 2017 alongside other titles before this one if you want to understand why people love this series (and the developer as well).
