Another unasked for movie post: Watched PET SEMATARY II ('92) and it was lousy. Didn't like the first one but it had atmosphere and a creepy dead kid. Remember liking the book when it came out but I liked a lot of things when I was 18. At some pt you think, "Schmuck! Buy a fence!" and it's over.

I Am Legend had Samantha. Pet Sematary II had Zowie. Then there's the 2023 Norwegian film Good Boy, where there's a man (and the offspring it breeds) dressed in a dog suit. But, I guess that opens an uncomfortable can of worms on how we should define "dog."

Night #24: Pet Sematary II (1992). Caught an unedited TV airing of this enjoyable sequel. Eddie Furlong fresh off his breakthrough role in the greatest American action film (T2) and Clancy Brown's villainous performance is damn entertaining. The chilly Fall/Halloween setting also rocks. #31DoNXVII

Watching Pet Sematary II, a goofy gleefully gruesome film with a pretty badass (but strange) soundtrack. Fun times.

So first question... Why? The easy-on-the-eye Edward Furlong ("Jeff") and hid dad "Chase" (Anthony Edwards) move to the Maine town of Ludlow after his mother dies in a freak electrical accident whilst filming a horror movie! Needless to say, the teenager is still a little bit traumatised when they arrive at his mother's old home and so is suitably susceptible when his pal "Drew" (Jason McGuire) tells him of the reputedly recuperative powers of the pet graveyard near their town. He is going to…
