unlabelledView post →Persona 5 Tactica is just... Alright. It's not *bad* but it isn't *good* and for $80 plus $40 of DLC you're better off getting either a different Persona game or a different strategy RPG because this game is not a super great example of either of those things. For starters I did quite enjoy the story, Toshiro and Erina are pretty great and the first three chapters are quite solid stories that focus heavily on Toshiro. The Phantom Thieves aren't doing much here besides being the muscle and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think Tactica gets far more hate than it deserves. It is exactly what it advertises to be, and I think a lot of people went into it expecting something that it wasnt. Its a cute simple game. However, I absolutely will say, ONLY buy this on discount. I don't feel like this is a $60-$80 game at all. I think the price is where most negative reviews come from.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Persona 5 Tactica is a decent enough game but I wish more people knew that it straight up uses Unity's default toon shader. Not even a new one it uses UTS2.075. These models are straight up VRChat Compliant in the *final game*, it's crazy!
unlabelledView post →Even when I seem to be in the small minority that likes the art-style of this game, I'm afraid it's not enough to salvage it. While the new characters are pretty enjoyable, the story and characterization of the original cast it's not (IDK what that guy who said it had better writting than Strikers was thinking). The gameplay is too simple to be enjoyable as a tactic game, even in the harshest difficulty. The lack of rewards in other missions leaves to be desired and the price doesn't help.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is an absolute trainwreck. There's moments of cleverness, and bits of brilliance sprinkled throughout, but I don't think it's enough to save this game. The positive - Toshiro is an incredible character, and so is Erina. For a while at least The soundtrack is on point The character interactions between the Phantom Thieves can be charming The gameplay mechanics are fine enough The negative - The worldbuilding and rules established in the world of Persona 5 are completely thrown…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let's be clear: this is no P5 Strikers, and it's hard to recommend this to anyone who didn't already have an attachment to P5. However, it's a perfectly functional TRPG, and it introduces a decent variety of mechanics pretty regularly. ...Man, P5 Strikers was so good.

unlabelledView post →The story is not that great, not worth the price and the content of this game is so repetitive. From the middle to the end its feels so boring. The final boss fight build up is also bad and it feels like normal boss fight. The difficulty on this game is a joke, playing hard/merciless and it still so easy. The personas fusion is also not that good, and not that fun like persona 5 strikers or royal that made you spending hours and hours to build best persona for boss fight, in this game you just…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game might be fun for some people, but that's just not the case for me. I think that the game is overpriced, repetitive and boring. That might just be because of how good the past 2 entries were for persona 5, or I don't like this type of game. But whatever it might be, I had a really hard time enjoying this game and most of the time it felt like a chore to try and complete the story. At some point I just started to not care, swapped the game to easy just to get through it faster. Take my…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This strategy RPG spin-off was unfortunately overshadowed by Persona 3 Reload being released not too long after. Not everyone was a fan of the chibi aesthetic and the easy difficulty did not help either. I personally enjoyed the tactics gameplay and the stellar presentation. The game consists of bite-sized missions with a puzzle-like quality to them. You can deploy only three units on the small-to-medium maps. The abilities of your personas and forged weapons are what brings a lot of freedom…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As advertised, Persona 5 if it was a tactical game. The price is the worst part since Persona 5 Royal is a 100 hour game and this one could be as short as 20 hours. The plot is simple but in my opinion pretty fun, it isn't stretched out either and doesn't feel like you're just like "Uuuughhhh continue with the story already" There were a few parts here and there were I found the game difficult but mostly it's really easy. In gameplay, you're never really in any situation where you can die…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →5/10 Not Recommended Battles are mindless and repetitive. The game is insultingly easy, even on the highest difficulty. Skills, weapons and everything barely matters, since the "Triple Threat"-team attack overshadows everything, which deals the most damage, can potential hit every enemy on the map and heals you on top. You breeze through every fight in 1 to 3 turns while constantly healing. Resources like HP and MP stop mattering within the first world of which there are 3 and final boss…

unlabelledView post →The only real issue with Persona 5 Tactica is the wildly unjustified price, so you definitely want to get this on sale. Otherwise, if you liked the Persona 5 characters and you like grid and turn based tactical RPGs, it's a solid choice. The story wouldn't make any sense if you didn't play P5 first, but it tells a coherent and focused tale that's worth playing through. I appreciate that both the story and the gameplay is considerably more streamlined than P5, so you can experience the best…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →✅ Persona 5 Tactica beaten Well, this was a game...map design became so annoying from the middle of the game onwards 🥴 Game's a weeee bit obsessed with switches and Turn 1 objectives (to its detriment) Would not recommend 🫶
unlabelledView post →Ok, I need to pick a game to play on stream, help me pick. The current list of potentials are: • Ape Escape • Borderlands • Fallout 4 • Grand Theft Auto V • Lego game (not sure which) • Persona 5 Tactica • Skyrim • This Is The Police • Watch Dogs Legion May be more. Suggestions welcome if cheap.
unlabelledView post →I managed to beat Persona 5 Tactica before my Game Pass subscription ran out today. Good game but I wouldn't recommend cramming 30 hours of a turn based tactics/strategy game into four days. I think I burned something important out of my brain.
unlabelledView post →Really shallow without any real interesting changes. Story is alright, if not somewhat mundane and inconsequential. Side missions tend to just be logic puzzles. Personas are just JPEGs in a game that already has minimal design budget. Maybe for $10 i'd suggest a persona fan try it, can't see trpg players latching on to this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →6/10 game but I'm giving it a negative rating because it pissed me off pros: - characters from the original - combat better than in Strikers (which wasn't difficult) cons: - 1 turn quests - 95% of why this game gets a negative, I hate these missions where you have to do everything perfectly like in the YT video, with the same characters, skills, damage, movement to the hex - idiocy, idiotic puzzles that shouldn't be in this game, and no, it's not a sidequest if the reward for these…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Here are some #Shukita moments from Persona 5 Tactica! 🥹 It’s already a fun game with well written new characters but the Shukita moments also give me inspiration. Yusuke is protective of Joker there too! When he has side missions, he requests Ren to be there.🥹
unlabelledView post →pretty good game buy it on sale though, its not worth $60. The game is pretty different from main series and kinda feels like a fire emblem game. The art style and music are really good as usual. I haven't beat the game yet but so far the story is kinda mid. The gameplay is really fun once you get used to it but the game is pretty easy. I'd give it like a 7/10. solid spin off but atlus pls make persona 6 we don't need more p5 spin offs.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow! 20th game of the year beat! Persona 5 Tactica is very…mid…? It’s okay. I thought the missions were very well done and it’s a good strategy RPG but the story didn’t grab me that much so I found it a tad boring. Worth it if you really like SRPGs!

unlabelledView post →And that is Persona 5 Tactica. If you enjoyed Mario and Rabbids, you're going to have a great time with this game. I completed all of the sidequests and finished it in 30 hours so its not as much of a commitment as Persona 5 Royal is. 😂
unlabelledView post →Very much a mid thumb game. I like the style and the actual tactical battles are decent. But the metagame of party and persona management isn't very good. And turns out I'm completely burnt out on the Phantom Thieves after 2 playthroughs of P5 and half of Strikers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a pretty good game. I haven't really been interested in tactical RPGs, but this makes me want to play more. Do yourself a favor, though... don't buy this at full price, lol. It's fun but it ain't worth a full $60

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This has to be one of the most underrated Persona games ever released. It's unfortunate it was overshadowed by Persona 3 Reload because this game is really good - I honestly enjoyed it more than some mainline games in the series. The only real weakness is that the gameplay is definitely too easy, but for me (I haven't played many tactics games) it was fine enough, and I'm much more into good writing anyways, which this game excels at. Don't buy it at full price though... I think it's slightly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I write this review having almost beat the game a 2nd time on NG+. I love the Persona series, so it was an odd choice for them to do a chibi aesthetics for this spinoff. I love Tactics games and this reminds me a lot of Mario + Rabbids, but it doesn't do it as well in comparison. You'll spend all your time just trying to obtain "1 More" and All-Out Attacks to efficiently win each level. The story is quite dull as well. After the 2nd Kingdom, I found myself being no longer caring about the…

unlabelledView post →As someone who likes to play tactical grid roleplaying games, I was disappointed with what I got and strongly recommend that even if you're a hardcore Persona 5 fan, do not get this game at full price. Story It takes a departure from previous games and the source game where Personas are the flip-side of a person's Shadow and tries to pull something that's supposed to rationalise why an exception happened, and the number of animated scenes (whether drawn or CG) are far and few in-between.…

unlabelledView post →The most overhated persona spinoff game. At the time of reviewing this, I'm trying to get 1 achievement for 100% completion and i'm just starting the DLC. The game isn't bad at all. Yes although some levels can be overwhelming or annoying to deal with, its still manageable. I saw a review saying cutscenes are bad, and yes in the beginning it isn't that good but it gets better overtime. Gameplay is really fun in my opinion. The only reason I think people dislike this is because tactics…

I like Atlus games... every single one that comes out on steam im quickly jumping to buy, even if I get in debt or I late some payments to my landlord (landlady? landbastard.).
