positive · AI labelView post →Now watching Parasomnia (2025)! 📽
neutral · AI labelView post →I am liking the horror movie Parasomnia except for one plot reveal where a character goes “Yeah but we’re gonna do voodoo?” “Well we tried everything else.” But like if you try to cast magic, with voodoo, you really have to have tried everything else. Like conceivably on earth, I mean.

neutral · AI labelView post →Falling a little behind schedule on #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days so I need to pick up the pace! Movie 60 and 61 were: Cuckoo and Parasomnia. I liked Cuckoo; Dan Stevens is always good. Parasomnia's not bad but feels... contrived, I guess? All plots are in one way or another but this one feels too much.
neutral · AI labelView post →Hope William Malone is doing okay these days. He hasn’t made a movie since “Parasomnia” in 2008, and his “House on Haunted Hill” and “Fair-Haired Child” have a lush style and clarity of effect in their most suspenseful moments.

neutral · AI labelView post →"Parasomnia" (Shudder)- good horror film about night terrors, a freaky mask and a dark family history. Jasmine Mathews does well as the protagonist. There's a lot of forcible eye removal (and eating) so buckle down and don't view around mealtime. Jumpscares aplenty.
positive · AI labelView post →#NowWatching 📽️💀 Parasomnia (2025) #horror
neutral · AI labelView post →"Parasomnia is a boring collection of horror movie clichés that don't add up to anything interesting, scary, or even visually stimulating. There are jump scares that don't make you jump or feel scared. There's lore for the boogeyman guy that doesn't pique the imagination." boxd.it/gmoCdr #horrorsky

positive · AI labelView post →When making a movie about dreams, it is incredibly easy to become disjointed in the narrative because you take narrative shortcuts when you storytell through dreams, which the audience can sometimes fail to connect with. This movie suffers from that to a lesser extent and manages to tie it back together after the twist, which happens later on in the movie. From then on, the dream sequences are more cohesive, and you get more stakes into the characters. It's not a perfect movie by any stretch,…
