I mean, there are obviously parts that don’t hold up, but it’s still such a sweet movie. And the ending is amazing.
unlabelledView post →Overboard, obviously (just kidding, while endearing it’s a mind-bendingly gross idea for a movie, even for the ‘80s!)
unlabelledView post →These fucking guys are always like "this movie couldnt be made today" as we're getting our third iteration of Overboard.
unlabelledView post →Watched Overboard (1987) with BF tonight what I took away from it: 1) its a horror movie i think, actually. i want the man dead. i'll marry goldie hawn myself & rescue her 2) the kids didn't deserve that. 3) ........................ radioapple AU, though--

unlabelledView post →My “glimmer” today is having a very strong edible, and hiding away to watch “Overboard”. I remember loving this film so hopefully it ages ok. Glimmers are the way forward. ✨
unlabelledView post →I hate to say it because it's soooo problematic but OVERBOARD Damn that movie was good and fun and ...soooo problematic lol So many 80s movies are like that.

unlabelledView post →Saturday family movie night. Tonight is the classic Overboard. Love me some Kurt Russell.
unlabelledView post →Overboard 1987 That movie is about him enslaving a woman with amnesia And don’t get me started on how much that movie hates the concept of consent
unlabelledView post →without saying big trouble in little china, fav kurt russell film? Overboard!!! There’s real chemistry here!!!
unlabelledView post →Overboard is on AMC. Love this movie.
unlabelledView post →This kind of cover art is usually reserved for an old film that features someone who blew up into a star (SEE: Rubberface, Going Overboard) or a star that is on death's door.
unlabelledView post →The film I directed, Love Overboard, is now live on Youtube if y'all wanna check it out!!! ✨ www.youtube.com/watch?v=vipL...
unlabelledView post →It's neat to see one of these finally actually be the example most people would pick, usually people are like "without saying Cowboys and Aliens favorite Harrison Ford movie" or "without saying Going Overboard favorite Adam Sandler movie" Anyway my answer is Shrek
unlabelledView post →What's amazing is how much I enjoyed this movie as a kid, and how every part of its premise was just horrifying! (Overboard for the curious)
unlabelledView post →I won't defend Fetterman. I don't care what anyone says about Fetterman, but Jr. talks in falsetto. Every time I hear him talk, I think of that one kid in the movie Overboard. The kid was doing it on purpose. Jr. really talks that way.
unlabelledView post →We're watching Overboard. You couldn't make this movie today. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are old as fuck now.
unlabelledView post →I was born in 1980... I'm choosing one movie per day from each year to today. What makes Overboard so special??? We see real chemistry here… and that’s something you just can’t fake… 🎥🎬🍿 #filmsky #moviesky #moviechallenge Day 8/45 1987
unlabelledView post →Watching OVERBOARD because I like some Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. And I've never seen it before.
unlabelledView post →a thing I hate is when I'm reading or watching something that presents immorality without acknowledging it, seemingly without knowing it a good example of this is the movie Overboard, w Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn
unlabelledView post →I just watched Nutcrackers on Hulu on the advice of someone here, I can't remember who. It was good. The boys reminded me of Overboard. Way better than a Hallmark movie.
unlabelledView post →For DAY 353 of my year long retrospective on made for TV movies that need a DVD/Blu Ray release, I chose the 1978 drama Overboard, which stars Angie Dickinson and Cliff Robertson as a dysfunctional couple who find they are at the end of their marriage while on a cruise. This is a fascinating film
unlabelledView post →Without saying The Thing, fav Kurt Russell film? 🎥 🖤 Overboard (1987) RICH BITCH SUN TANNING DAYS!!
unlabelledView post →Overboard is just about the worst movie I’ve ever given 3 stars, the premise is so skeevy that it wouldn’t work with anyone other than a couple with actual real life chemistry

unlabelledView post →my movie for tonight is perhaps the scariest one on my entire list. After all, who wouldn't be scared of the 1989 film Going Overboard, the film debut of Adam Sandler?

unlabelledView post →Danica McKellar will star in AMNESIA FOR CHRISTMAS (w/t), which she also wrote, set to film early next month in Buffalo, NY Sounds like way less interesting FALLING FOR CHRISTMAS, which itself was rip-off of OVERBOARD and, once again, GAF casting notices say every main character needs to be white 🙄

unlabelledView post →Every once in a while, I'm reminded of how in the film Overboard, Goldie Hawn occasionally skips a groove from overwhelm and goes catatonic, repeating BUHBUHBUHBUHBUHBUH. Buhbuhbuhbuhbuhbuh
unlabelledView post →Works done, time for a movie! Tonight's randomly selected movie is... Ok,never seen this. Sandler's first. Going Overboard, 1989
unlabelledView post →Going Overboard (1989) im absolutely impressed, for sandler's first ever movie before he got famous and got on SNL, he absolutely made worse the first movie he ever did is the absolute fucking worst. a worthless void of nothing of painful offensive unfunny 1/10
unlabelledView post →I know it from the movie Overboard, but it's Jim Dandy To The Rescue by the Wright Brothers Band
unlabelledView post →Watched “Overboard” over the weekend (the original), and it’s an incredible example of how singular a force good charisma and chemistry can be. You want to and very often can ignore how much he’s lying to and gaslighting her, for the simple reason that *it is fun to watch them together.*
unlabelledView post →WTF. Somebody should knock her off a boat or something*. *this is a joke about the movie Overboard, in which Goldie Hawn gets knocked off a boat.
unlabelledView post →I’ve got a couple of older films I’d like to mention. Overboard also starring Goldie Hawn and the Russians are coming, The Russians are coming. Norman Jewison directed the second film, and I believe Carl Reiner wrote it and starred in it. 1987 and 1966 respectively. Great films.
unlabelledView post →One of the showings on Up All Night of this film was with Adam Sandler's Going Overboard ... Now that is some stamina even this cinematic masochist feels apprehensive about! 🤣🤘🎞 #FrightClub

unlabelledView post →#2: You Don’t Mess with the Zohan Trashhhhhhhhhhh. Got a few tiny chuckles out of me but it’s definitely my least favorite Sandler film so far and this is after I grew up with That’s My Boy and get some enjoyment from Going Overboard.
unlabelledView post →I hurt my back so in between meds I'm streaming, currently it's a Goldie Hawn film fest. Cactus Flower, Foul Play, Overboard, next up, Protocol. Arnold is my follow up, starting with Predator (my franchise fave). Suggestions welcomed. BTW, the Tubi app is great for old (and newish) movies.
