unlabelledView post →"Your anger is ours now. Avenge those who have been slaughtered, become the reaper of the unpunished executioners. I appeal to ultimate violence, in the name of justice." Made a pose based on a game I really like, Othercide! #lalafell

unlabelledView post →they say the grass is always greener on the Othercide but that's bullshit, that game is monochrome as fuck—except the red—and i'm pretty sure has no grass in it
unlabelledView post →oh shit yeah. Lightbulb Crew, the people who made Othercide, have a new game that basically looks like Othercide With Vampires vs The Final Shape
unlabelledView post →We beat Hyper Light Drifter, and man what a gorgeous game. Then switched to Othercide for chill vibes ^^ Thanks @infamousbee.bsky.social and @ephrysvt.bsky.social for the raids ;w; i appreciate y'all!! We raided into @goblinkinggrg.bsky.social who was doing Warcraft 3!!
unlabelledView post →Ex Sanguis is now available in Early Access right there: store.steampowered.com/app/3275050/... Spoiler: it's not Othercide 2, despite all the comparisons you could draw out of the team behind both game or the similar vibes it creates. It's something else!
unlabelledView post →I just woke up for no reason, and can't seem to sleep, so I'm gonna try this new game I picked up. Othercide. I actually love the soundtrack so far.. it's moody & guitar heavy. Also... it has as an option "DISABLE CUT SCENES!" It's a tactical RPG you can pick up now for $3 on Steam.

unlabelledView post →Playing Othercide a few years ago really made me realize that, while I personally enjoy *some* amount of randomness in *some* specific parts of a tac combat game, it does not belong in every action. The most compelling tactical experiences for me are in choice. RNG is spice, choice is the dish.

unlabelledView post →33. Other than writing, my main hobby/interest is video games, yeah. FFXIV would be my main game, but I still hop around several. Big fan of XCOM 2, Othercide, Megaman X, Metroid, etc.
unlabelledView post →@ami_angelwings I generally don't put up with bad media, but the Mother in #Othercide. The game isn't *bad*, but it's pretty mid, and the writing should be on a game twice as good. I wanted to hear more about the setting. Tell me more about this immortal woman who's made a pact with the eldritch incarnation of memory, who has been, at different times, a samurai, a paladin, and a wild west gunslinger.
unlabelledView post →Ex Sanguis Roguelite turn-based tactics game with a striking black-white-red colour scheme. Immediately reminiscent of Othercide from the same devs, but faster and more aggressive. ...Very rough demo though; I'm looking forward to the full game, but I get the feeling it's gonna take a while.
unlabelledView post →Ex Sanguis demo is happening. New black/white/red colored tactical fights game from the Othercide people. Sweeet. I still need to finish Othercide (my brain is bad at extended tactical fights) but damn if I ain't tempted anyway.
unlabelledView post →#28 - Ex Sanguis - @lightbulbcrew.bsky.social This game is a reminder I need to play Othercide at some point. Give me XCOM and horror and you have me hooked! Ex Sanguis adds roguelike elements in the mix! store.steampowered.com/app/3275050/...
unlabelledView post →Good morning! Hoping to hop back into Othercide today. This cool and stylish-looking tactical strategy game. I've seen Steam reviews call it "goth girl XCOM". They're not wrong...? It does have a Roguelike aspect to it too, but it feels more tac-strategy than Roguelike imo.
unlabelledView post →Erin checked and found out that they actually patched Othercide for Switch to make it playable in docked mode. Not only that, but it seems that they fixed whatever issue caused the game to crash on startup, and my old save file may still work
unlabelledView post →try Othercide, their first game. so good
unlabelledView post →It's a ludicrously warm evening, time to play some Othercide! Join me as I continue my foray into the stylish and minimalist rogue-lite turn based game from 5:30pm (UTC+1). It's too warm to be pithy in this message. twitch.tv/deusblackheart
unlabelledView post →I do not mean to shoot you down but have you seen Othercide? I need to play it more but it's along these lines. Though tbh If I had money to fund a video game I have a tiny tactics concept id pay you to make first!
unlabelledView post →Triangle Strategy is very good but for some reason I still haven’t finished it. Just hate the length of the cut scenes. Othercide is an interesting game but truly a victim of an artistic vision that does not work in practice. It’s visually hard to look at. Strains the eyes
unlabelledView post →Crimson Desert got me covered. Against the Storm is pretty awesome. Othercide checks me in all the right places. There are plenty of games to play where I don't need to spend half the game not playing. 😛
unlabelledView post →my IRLs got me on a game called Othercide. It seems really well-made but as anti-Joe as I can imagine a game being. in like, strictly personal ways, so don’t let me stop you from trying it.

unlabelledView post →I have unfinished spec docs written to absolutely nobody, pitching trpg revivals of each of these games. Lmao I wrote one for Othercide, too, but that game is actually just 9.5/10, so it doesn't fit the motif here.
unlabelledView post →Playing OtherCide. Loving this! Like Xcom but also rougelike. Soundtrack is amazing #twitch #stream #chill www.twitch.tv/bigspookle
unlabelledView post →By far my favorite Steam Next Fest demo was Nitro Gen Omega. Im a huge fan of time/phase planning in tactics games (e.g. Star Renegades, Gloomhaven, Othercide). I love how Nitro Gen Omega handles it, super elegant and board game like, with the slickest presentation I’ve seen in an indie game.
unlabelledView post →THANK YOU, @lightbulbcrew.bsky.social 🖤🤍❤️! I had just acquired the platinum for Othercide, and I couldn’t be happier. This is a truly beautiful game, its anger, pain, sorrow and most of all *hope* resonates so strongly with me. There’s so many layers to Othercide, both in story and in combat. +

unlabelledView post →Personal highlight is definitely Forbidden Solitaire, that demo made the game "Day 1 Purchase"-material for me. store.steampowered.com/app/3414580/... Ex Sanguis also pretty cool, in a "Oh shit, I need to actually finish Othercide already!"-way lol store.steampowered.com/app/3275050/...
unlabelledView post →"Oh, wow, this artstyle reminds me a lot of... Uhh, what was it called, damn, I know I played this... OTHERCIDE! Yeah, Othercide; damn, that game was tight. Wonder what those devs are doing now." ... "OH, LITERALLY THIS, THAT'S THE FOLLOW-UP." Steam Next Fest still delivers sometimes.
unlabelledView post →Ex Sanguis is a clear follow up (albeit not sequel) to Othercide, a game I desperately want to love but just...don't. I was hoping this would work better for me, but sadly, the demo left me cold, not least because it doesn't have controller support. Boo! store.steampowered.com/app/3275050/...
unlabelledView post →Yes, I loved Othercide, more people should try that game
unlabelledView post →Othercide perhaps? It's a turn-based game kinda like Into The Breach, but has some very horror-ish visuals.
unlabelledView post →Othercide is a decent game, but I don't think I'll really commit to it as much as I think I'll need to in order to beat it. Still glad I gave it a go.

Actually didn’t know much about this game when it first came out but after looking it up a bit more, seems like an interesting one, aesthetically, thematically and gameplay wise. Hope it’s fun! Also got a mango smoothie w/boba. Yummers! #SwitchCorps
unlabelledView post →Othercide Soundtrack Album is a soundtrack album that fits this challenge because when I first heard about the game I absolutely loved the idea of it. It was like a horror turn based game that I liked the trailer for. And when I heard the soundtrack for the first time I honestly didn't like it.
unlabelledView post →Man, Othercide was a fun game. Thanks for the reminder!

unlabelledView post →Number 4 - From a lesser-known game; Othercide. This is actually the track to the first boss. It starts with no vocals, but the moment the boss hits stage two, the vocals cut in at "I will never fall" and the difficulty ramps up. Epic as hell - need to revisit www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6RK...
