One More Shot
Following the attack on the black site in Poland, Navy SEAL Jake Harris is ordered to escort terrorist suspect Amin Mansur to Washington D.C. for interrogation. Before the prisoner transfer process is complete, though, the airport is attacked by a group of heavily armed, well-trained mercenaries. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →ONE MORE SHOT: The kind of sequel that gives sequels a good name. Better settings, more inventive camerawork, more complex action scenes. It complicates the War On Terror politics of the first film in fascinating ways. And it ends on a perfect grace note. Nunn and Adkins slammed this one.
unlabelledView post →Watching One More Shot, staring fight legend Scott Adkins. The sequel to One shot. Both films are in one shot. No cuts. Incredible levels of planning. Tip top B movie action.
unlabelledView post →Accident Man 1 had a DVD and Blu. 2 had a DVD. I did end up getting 2 as an eBay bootleg Blu-ray (housed it in a double disc case with the official DVD). The only other Adkins not to have a disc I think is “One More Shot” which stinks because that’s a pretty solid movie too.

unlabelledView post →One More Shot (Film, Australia) Time loop film with a fun loop-mechanic, I enjoyed the characters and I found the ending very satisfying. Watch if you like australian films, "unlikeable" characters trying to be less shit at life & Y2K nostalgia. 9/10

unlabelledView post →Watched One More Shot Here we have a action film that has a standard story with no interesting characters. But what did carries the movie is the single take filming and the action itself being frequent and having a good mix of shooting and regular combat. Could have worse.

I loved the way the time loops were used for character building. I can see it winning the audience award. Good job by dir. Nick Clifford. #sxsw #film #filmsky 📽️🎬

unlabelledView post →11th movie of 2024: One More Shot (2024). Scott Adkins once again bringing the DTV action mayhem, together with lo-budget action veteran Michael Jai White. Like the first one, it's made to look like it takes place in one continuous shot. Maybe even better than the first one. #filmsky
unlabelledView post →One More Shot hits the mark. Scott Adkins shines in this action thriller, that plays nicely to has martial arts background. Its wall to wall fight scenes and military style gun play, throughout. Perhaps the only downside, is the final fight between Adkins and Michael Jai White. It feel a little too short and as a result, somewhat, anti climatic. In summary, a great little action flick that's driven by highly entertaining exposition. Definitely worth a look.
