Every frame a painting. Quintessential gothic horror w/ the utter psychosis of Klaus Kinski & beauty of Isabelle Adjani. #Filmsky #Nosferatu

unlabelledView post →My ★★★★ review of Nosferatu the Vampyre boxd.it/8Te3lN He just wants to be loved? Is that so wrong? 😜 Kinski's Count is spectacularly creepy, but no one seems to notice. Herzog's version is less horror, more atmospheric, existential meditation on dread. #filmsky 📽🎥🎬🎞

And of course, the dynamic duo, the terrible twosome of Herzog & Kinski...how much do I love it? 🧛♂️ #filmsky 📽🎥🎬🎞

unlabelledView post →It's so strange to see a city you're familiar with used so recognisably in a movie, as the Dutch city of Delft was used as a primary location for 1979's Nosferatu the Vampyre. My dad once told me about how the Delft authorities refused to allow thousands of rats being released there,

Werner Herzog’s Nosferatu The Vampyre (out today, 1979) is part Dracula and part travelogue of historic Germany, one of the most gorgeous films you’ll ever see. Then there’s Isabelle Adjani, waiting to be ravished.

unlabelledView post →Day 2- Nosferatu The Vampyre by Werner Herzog My favourite vampire movie. Werner Herzog’s Nosferatu the Vampyre perfectly captures dread, gothic atmosphere, and haunting imagery. Klaus Kinski’s performance, the eerie landscapes, and creeping tension make it unforgettable and genuinely chilling.

unlabelledView post →More horror recs: Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979). Herzog's tribute to F.W. Murnau is a dreamy, gothic, doom-laden film with an ethereal score and earthy visuals that slather on the atmosphere, bolstering a stellar performance from the infamous Klaus Kinski. Not a party movie, though, trust me!
unlabelledView post →#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 4/100: Nosferatu the Vampyre A visually stunning film that pays tribute to the OG Nosferatu while bringing in references to Dracula which pay off that film's original intention. Film itself is great, some stuff about the behind the scenes less so. boxd.it/21J0

If you've only seen the newest one you should seriously check it out. Like I said, a classic.
unlabelledView post →Werner Herzog’s “Nosferatu the Vampyre” will always be my favorite vampire film. The visuals are so stunning, Isabelle Adjani was never lovelier (with that gorgeous jet black hair) and Klaus Kinski’s Nosferatu is more rat than man, genuinely revolting and terrifying. #moviesky #filmsky

unlabelledView post →Watching ‘Nosferatu, the Vampyre’ because I’ve never seen it before and I’m hyped for the forthcoming Eggers film. Klaus Kinski’s Dracula is horrifying in that he is this sickly looking awkward shambling creature, a far cry the suave, aristocratic (and sometimes sexy) Draculas of Lugosi and Lee.
