No Reservations
Master chef Kate Armstrong runs her life and her kitchen with intimidating intensity. However, a recipe for disaster may be in the works when she becomes the guardian of her young niece while crossing forks with the brash sous-chef who just joined her staff. Though romance blooms in the face of rivalry, Kate needs to look outside the kitchen to find true happiness. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →it's just depressing in general how fucking good even low-budget/genre/whatever movies looked when stuff was shot on film as opposed to now, especially given that digital doesn't HAVE to look as bad as it usually does—there are old No Reservations episodes that look nicer than a lot of huge movies
unlabelledView post →Anthony and the crew at Zero Point Zero bonded very quickly over their love of cinematography and he quickly gave them free reign to shoot Parts Unknown and No Reservations however the fuck they wanted. At the very least there was serious mutual respect between him and his film crew.

The way it was film and the way he hosted it made you feel like you were there with him, even though you watching a million miles away.
unlabelledView post →Got to watch ‘Tony’ at the theater and I couldn’t hold back the tears. On it’s own, without any knowledge of the man or the BTS stuff of his No Reservations or Parts Unknown series, fhe movie is an incredible coming of age story. Brilliant performances by Sessa and Banderas (give them Oscars).
unlabelledView post →The silly thing about this, too, (and applicable to the topic at hand) is that they made a rizzless copy of this film while also ripping off Anthony Bourdain's show title in "No Reservations" starring Catherine Zeta Jones and Aaron Eckhart.

unlabelledView post →I thought for the longest time that the Aaron Eckhart movie “No Reservations” was about Anthony Bourdain. Finally found it that it’s not. I also found out that Bradly Cooper played Bourdain in a TV show, but was also a chef in the movie called Burnt. This has been another boring story about my life.

A romantic comedy with bountiful food scenes 🍜 www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fjrw...

unlabelledView post →Mostly Martha is a wonderful german language film (later made into an American remake that I didn't particularly like, No Reservations). The Big Sleep and His Girl Friday are two of my favs for that era of the silver screen. If you are feeling more surreal/darker, The Red Shoes is also brilliant.
unlabelledView post →No Reservations (2007) sort of reminds me of a few good-to-great films — namely Tár, Boiling Point, and The Taste of Things. That’s not bad company to be in, except that one of those things is not like the others. #NoReservations #MovieReview #Comedy #Romance #FilmCriticism https://pablohoneyfish.wordpress.com/2026/09/02/no-reservations-2007-99-problems-but-a-kitchen-one/

unlabelledView post →This afternoon’s movie, NO RESERVATIONS (2007) might as well have come from Hallmark with no identifiable actors. What a waste of a big budget, NYC location, and good actors. Plus who made Aaron Eckhart wear that stupid hairdo? #Filmsky
unlabelledView post →Put me in an A Clockwork Orange movie theater scene situation where the theater is just playing No Reservations and Parts Unknown. Jack my mouth open too and just cram McDonald’s Cheesy Jalapeño Bacon Quarter Pounders (2023) in there.
unlabelledView post →You know, it's not very cool to say this in the company of cooks, but #Bordain's #NoReservations really didn't start off as a good show. I'm trying to decide how many seasons to skip before I start watching from the stream.
unlabelledView post →As an aside, is the man in that picture the Indian actor that Anthony Bourdain shared a lunch break with many years ago (during his “No Reservations“ era) on a movie set in India? He looks so familiar.
