unlabelledView post →When I was a kid I was convinced Baloo and Bagheera got married at the end of the movie bc when Mowgli leaves after that girl and Bagheera says to Baloo "Well, you wouldn't marry a panther, would you?" And Baloo looks at down at him and eyebrows eyebrows and says "Well, no panther's ever asked me."
unlabelledView post →Kaa & Thyme from High Guardian Spice, based on that Kaa & Mowgli scene in The Jungle Cubs: Born To Be Wild short movie. #kaatent
unlabelledView post →Did anyone else ever find the girl at the end of Jungle Book scary as a kid? Like the entire movie Mowgli has a specific goal, and by the end of it he's free to have that goal and be with the people he's established he loves...and then he gets seemingly hypnotised (like Kaa!) and throws it all away
unlabelledView post →Late Movie is Mowgli, a stunning Soviet animated version of The Jungle Books from 1971. youtu.be/aPkNG-wFAuk?...
unlabelledView post →Even as a child, I knew the reason Mowgli followed the girl out of the jungle at the end of the film was not to have breakfast.
unlabelledView post →He does it twice in the original film! Once with Kaa after the python's song and dance number, and once with Mowgli near the end of the movie. You can almost say it's a signature move of his!
unlabelledView post →Almost like a very boring person trying to describe a dream in a way that makes it interesting. "Britney Spears was there. Yeah, and she was jumping up and down like she was trying to tell me something. And she was also Mowgli. You know, from the movie?"
unlabelledView post →#MusicChallenge #MemoryMusic Day 11. Children’s music. Loved the whole film as a 5 year old. My Nan took me to see it and apparently I cried really loudly at the end because I didn’t want Mowgli to follow the girl back to the “man village”🤣 Still love it now!
unlabelledView post →My most generous interpretation is that Serkis wanted a Mowgli style adaptation with uncanny human-animals, but nobody would fund it unless they turned it into a silly kids film for cash-grab.
unlabelledView post →The Jungle Book was Walt Disney's final animated film and based off of Rudyard Kipling's book. It focuses on Mowgli, a boy raised by wolves in the Indian jungle now has to go back to the man-village to avoid Shere Khan the tiger, and befriends Baloo the Bear for a share of the Bare Necessities.
unlabelledView post →Like if you were going to compare San from Princess Mononoke to any Disney character it would probably have to be Tarzan or Mowgli and even then San is still absolutely going to be the better character because her movie is MASSIVELY different from these two.
unlabelledView post →Always a Rudyard Kipling fan, watched 2018 movie "Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle." Totally traumatized by the shocking beheading of his best friend, Bhoot, an albino wolf cub. There should have been a warning in the movie description. Generally, I don't watch horror films.
unlabelledView post →Underrated 90s adventure movie: Stephen Sommers' Jungle Book which is basically a Tarzan in all but name but it's got Hot Ripped Mowgli and possibly the last time Lena Headey ever played a good girl? Killer Poledouris score too!
unlabelledView post →First encounter already got me but I remember the coil walk segments of the second encounter, the way Kaa was toying with Mowgli, making me feel all funny. I'd keep rewatching the movie just for those parts lolol
unlabelledView post →Everyone ignores the fact when they're making things with Kaa that he's confident, but also a buffoon. So why do I mostly see stuff of him tricking and hypnotizing like 14 people at a time successfully Like if he was even 20% competent, Mowgli doesn't make it to the end of the movie lmao
unlabelledView post →This film is about Mowgli meeting a series of Gay Dads letterboxd.com/ernekid/film...
unlabelledView post →Disney needs to somehow put this on Disney+ or Hulu If you’ve seen this version of The Jungle Book you had an awesome childhood! Jason Scott Lee, Sam Neill, Cary Elwes and Cersei aka Lena Heady amazing Back then I never thought about Jason Scott Lee being cast as Mowgli, I just loved the film
unlabelledView post →Big shout out to Mowgli Khan for being a backer on JITTERS MOVIE your support is epic thank you! 8 backers 2 away from making to 10 backers on the new crowdfund to get the film finished! www.indiegogo.com/projects/com...
unlabelledView post →A fanart of Kaa and Mowgli from The Jungle Book 1st movie. I enjoyed both characters and laughed so hard at their interactions, especially Kaa. 😭 #digitalart #illustration #artmoots #sketches
unlabelledView post →The Jungle Book is an adventure game (and one of the last released) for the #NES featuring the storyline of the original Disney movie. Playing as Mowgli, you are armed with bananas, boomerangs and other weapons. Clunky controls and all, you go through the jungle in search of the human village. 4/10
unlabelledView post →Just sucks to see him go from MOWGLI, a genuinely strong movie, to, like VENOM 2 and whatever this new ANIMAL FARM is...
unlabelledView post →Ngl I actually LIKE Serkis' Mowgli movie but his Animal Farm adaptation trailer looks like they Minion-fied the book somehow.
unlabelledView post →Cons- Some moments do not resonate with audiences who either watched the original animated film or the Rudyard Kipling book. Shere Khan's reasons to kill Mowgli and his family feel forced and cliched, Kaa has minimal screen-time, two songs from the animated one feel out of place for a non-musical.
unlabelledView post →The Jungle Book. I had forgotten how this movie just has a long string of Mowgli being told what to do and where to go. Also still can’t get over Kaa having Winnie the Pooh’s voice (though didn’t notice when he was the Cheshire Cat).
unlabelledView post →The Latvian movie “Flow” just won this year’s Golden Globe award for best animated feature. A film without a single word. The cat is the best and most authentic since Mowgli in the Jungle Book. eng.lsm.lv/article/cult...
unlabelledView post →Who would you rather see in a movie? Mowgli or Mary?
unlabelledView post →Just a brutal matchup, but Jungle Book was my favorite Disney movie when I was little and all wanted was to be like Mowgli and have a big ol bear like Baloo as my best friend and protector.
unlabelledView post →Does anyone remember that really bad Mowgli movie Serkis directed in 2016?
unlabelledView post →Some old brush tests / sketches featuring characters from old Soviet animations 🎞️ • Bagheera from the 1960s~1970s Adventures of Mowgli cartoons • Snow Queen from the 1957 animated film
unlabelledView post →Nah, definitely that scene from the animated Jungle Book movie where the snake is putting the hypno-whammy on Mowgli
unlabelledView post →1. The Neverending Story, because of the death of Artax (Atreyu's horse) in the Swamp of Sadness was way too sad sad sad sad sad 2. 2018 movie Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, bcuz of Bhoot's traumatizing decapitation....can't imagine that film suitable for children because of that scene.
unlabelledView post →Another pic from my DA file. Netflix Mowgli Kaa the snake. All drawn up in Sonic style. Did enjoy the movie on Netflix and the version of Kaa in that one. Again, a female Kaa and nothing wrong with that. Enjoy ^^ #Kaa #Kaathesnake #femkaa #soniclamia #mobianlamia #netflixmowglikaa

unlabelledView post →randomly remembering the 1995 Jungle Book film where Mowgli skins Shere Khan and wears him like a hoodie wild to think that's the version I grew up knowing and not the 60's Disney film
unlabelledView post →His Mowgli movie was flawed, but you could see some potential there with his direction. Venom and Animal Farm haven't done anything to capitalize on that. Maybe HFG will be the movie to show his talents off a little more, but I'm honestly expected it to feel like Jackson shadow directed them
unlabelledView post →I also gotta say its like the one point in the movie we see Bagheera be actively terrified. Even when Mowgli runs or something Bagheera is just a little worried Bagheera here is swinging from a massive massive pendulum from terrified for his ward and himself to being oblivious and soft.

unlabelledView post →also this specific Bagheera, from Soviet animation movie Маугли (Mowgli) (she was a lady! and one of my first baby gay crushes)
unlabelledView post →I'm sorry to say Engine, but my least favorite protagonist, and potentially my least favorite Disney character of all time, is Mowgli from the Jungle Book. I just don't like that kid, he's such a pain in everyone's ass in that film. Ungrateful little brat.

unlabelledView post →There are big chunks, possibly the majority, that didn’t make it to film. It’s been a long time since I read it but I’m fairly sure the story of Mowgli is only one bit of it.
unlabelledView post →The main characters in The Jungle Book include Mowgli, Baloo, and Bagheera. These beloved figures come from Rudyard Kipling's classic stories and famous movie versions. Will Trump shout and scream about talking snakes and bears? Surely woke... a talking snake?
unlabelledView post →Sarrl with make up to look like Kaa is an amusing visual image. Yeah, if Mowgli manages to get away after the first encounter like in the script I doubt there Sarrl would wait for a seocnd movie before starting his own second encounter.
unlabelledView post →The Jungle Book (1942) Sabu, Joseph Calleia The 1942 adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book, directed by Zoltán Korda and starring Sabu as Mowgli It's the very first full-length, live-action Technicolor film based on the classic stories. youtu.be/-8EJ9uhsfQQ?...

unlabelledView post →Speaking of things that shouldn´t exist.. I first heard about Serkis´s Animal Farm adaption sometime after he made his gritty Mowgli movie (which I quite enjoyed) and I was looking forward to another grim dark adaptation with uncanny human-eyed animals. but then, radio silence.. (1/2)
unlabelledView post →Oh definitely. Mowgli and Shanti getting caught in the movie. Scary scene with our protagonists about to be in danger because of Kaas abilities Outside of that, nope nope nope those are children do not think weird stuff about them being Hypnotized because they are children please and thank you
unlabelledView post →What is it with Andy Serkis taking family-friendly source material and turning them dark and edgy (the original Jungle Book vs that shitty 2018 Mowgli movie) and taking dark edgy source material and turning them family friendly (the original Animal Farm book vs his pigshit movie)?
unlabelledView post →Also I DO like the Mowgli movie he directed in 2018 so idk. Divisive guy.
unlabelledView post →That is a good point. I'd attribute the affection towards it thanks to the fact that Mowgli is portrayed as a kid. It is likely that the children who watched the movie had that memory ingrained, so that once adults, they'd look back with nostalgia as well. Thus a need to re-live it.
unlabelledView post →While listening to Mike Johnson's address to the UK Parliament I couldn't help wonder where I'd seen and heard his ilk before. Then I remembered. He reminded me of Kaa in Disney's version of The Jungle Book. Mesmerizing & seducing man-cub Mowgli (MPs!) with a soft spin, hiding his true Maga nature
unlabelledView post →Geez... Just watched Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle. I don't recommend it if you have a love of small animals because poor Bhoot does not make it to the end of the film. Sorry for spoilers, but I didn't need THAT tonight. 💔
