Ddg searched and it's a real thing. It's got a Wikipedia page and everything. I would love to go to places and see how things are made. Modern Marvels is my favorite show (yes, I'm old) and also how it's made. Anyone done something like this? How was your experience? How did you set it up?

neutral · AI labelView post →This show had the most awesome episodes ever! If you ever paired Mythbusters with How it’s Made and Modern Marvels it would be the best educational engineering TV programs you could watch.
positive · AI labelView post →On September 14, 2005, TV show 'Modern Marvels' aired episode "Coffee"
neutral · AI labelView post →You know what show I miss? Modern Marvels.
positive · AI labelView post →The hyper loop was stolen from a European design from the 90s. It was even featured on an episode of Modern Marvels back then.

neutral · AI labelView post →The Discovery Channel had whole TV series called "How It's Made" and "Modern Marvels" that showed how stuff got made and shipped around the world. Heck, Mr. Rogers showed little short films about how a musical instrument is made or whatever. But everyone who watched educational TV grew up liberal.
neutral · AI labelView post →If anyone is interested in watching a really fascinating series, I found "Dark Marvels" on Hulu. It's like "Modern Marvels," with a comprehensive discussion of various historical inventions, only it's centered around things like weapons and implements of torture.
neutral · AI labelView post →Holy shit, is that the guy from the ice cream episode of Modern Marvels?
neutral · AI labelView post →This show feels more like a good TV show from the early 2000s on Discovery or History (i.e "Mythbusters" or "Modern Marvels"). Then a YouTube series. The amount of education in it feels like my time in college when devs used to come and tell us 20 somethings stories about the industry.
neutral · AI labelView post →Modern Marvels is a great show!
positive · AI labelView post →Listening to 2000s episodes of Modern Marvels that made up the soundtrack of my youth is my ASMR
positive · AI labelView post →I'm cleaning up my dvr, seeing the shows I've recorded that are getting close to a year old, as they start dropping away after that. Watching a PBS show called 10 Modern Marvels That Changed America. My dad was an engineer, he'd have loved this. I've see a lot of these places, we took road trips!❤️
neutral · AI labelView post →Anyone else loved watching Modern Marvels? That show was easily my favorite show when I was younger. A one hour hella informative documentary about literally anything?? SEVEN YEAR OLD ME WAS SAT. (Sometimes I even took my own notes on the episodes 🤭) anyway, here's the one about cheese:
positive · AI labelView post →I would like to do the same, but I watch a lot of the various Modern Marvels series on there. There's a good chance I can get them cheaper (or maybe even free) elsewhere, though. I'm definitely going to look into it when I get time.
neutral · AI labelView post →I wish we had a show on tv that was like Modern Marvels or Mythbusters but taught adults microbiology, basic genetics concepts, etc. My Gen X and Boomer relatives are VERY out of the loop in regards to biological science that having any conversation about vaccines, disease, etc. is near impossible
neutral · AI labelView post →MODERN MARVELS is a fun show.
positive · AI labelView post →I've been rewatching episodes of a 90s History Channel series called Modern Marvels. And yes, it makes everything feel normal for a little while.
positive · AI labelView post →Watch Baseball (TBA). Probably DVR American Chopper, Modern Marvels, Daily Show.
neutral · AI labelView post →Tasting History. I've loved food anthropology since Good Eats and Deb Dunchon days. Food and history and context and it all comes together. Love it. Practical Engineering. Modern Marvels was my favorite show. This is the spiritual successor.
neutral · AI labelView post →This Bridge Stretches 24 Miles Across Louisiana Waters (S9, E37) | Modern Marvels | Full Episode.
neutral · AI labelView post →Good one! Personally, Will It Blend was one of those memes that I just consciously ignored. Until I saw it on some actual television show. (quick digging: Modern Marvels, apparently.) [I for one...](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/i-for-one-welcome-our-new-insect-overlords) is obviously an old Slashdot meme that Digg people reheated.
neutral · AI labelView post →I love docs about civil engineering, especially bridges and dams. Modern Marvels has a couple of good episodes on the subject, told/produced in that program's typical format, including the Golden Gate Bridge and The Hoover Dam. But my favorite is a 1997 episode of Nova called Super Bridge ( https://thetvdb.com/series/nova/episodes/1357201 ). The footage is great, the narration is great (I think its Hal Holbrook!), the storytelling is great, and it showed a great deal of stuff I didn't know I…
neutral · AI labelView post →Takes me back to when Discovery Channel had good content. Or watching Modern Marvels. I really hope it kicks off some more funding and collaboration for more video series like that.
neutral · AI labelView post →I was watching Modern Marvels recently. The show is about 20 to 25 years old? They did a whole segment on Tesla when they were getting started and hand building each car! Fun fact! Muskrat was not there! he probably was cashing out his paypal millions at the time and looking for his next conquest‼️😡

neutral · AI labelView post →I never appreciated the process for how things are made until just learning about them in general. Doors, food, so many things we take for granted that have to evolved years of refinement. Shows like the History Channel's Modern Marvels changed how I look and revere things to this day. 🤯

positive · AI labelView post →Used to watch a show on the History channel called Modern Marvels. It’s pretty entertaining and you learn about lots of different things. There are a whole bunch of episodes on YouTube.
positive · AI labelView post →This feels like a clip from the Modern Marvels show that did an exploration of WDW from 2008…
neutral · AI labelView post →I've tried but I can't find it. It was an engineering documentary I saw on DISH, specifically about the 'walking excavator', so something like a Modern Marvels/Extreme Engineering, et al. Don't recall the show, it's been at least a year.
neutral · AI labelView post →Dove Promises chocolates are wrapped via machine, right, like Hershey Kisses? because I suddenly have a mighty need to find video of the machines at work. I remember a Modern Marvels about candy that had so many shots of the machines at work. That show was p great.
