THE EAGLE HAS LANDED (1976). A doomed men-on-a-mission war movie as told from the Nazi side of things. The goal is kidnapping Churchill. Complications ensue. Duvall, Caine, & Sutherland are absolute aces. This is the best early '60s movie to be made during the New Hollywood era.
