neutral · AI labelView post →If you haven’t seen it before, check out the movie Medicine Man starring Sean Connery. It’s on that very topic.

neutral · AI labelView post →The Mononoke movie was basically a long episode, but very good and it was sweet to see the Medicine Man get to see something happy in the end.
neutral · AI labelView post →Found this movie at the thrift store yesterday and I can’t believe it wasn’t playing on TV every Saturday afternoon in the early 90s. Would have made a great double feature with Medicine Man. It’s got some fantastic chimp performances in it too. Really fun.
neutral · AI labelView post →Favorite film for each year of the 1990s... 1992: Medicine Man #filmsky
positive · AI labelView post →Would also throw in Nomads - his first movie, which put him on the map and one of the reasons Arnie recommended him for Predator. Also, people shit on Medicine Man but I'm a forever Bracco fan. It wasn't McTiernan's best effort but it was entertaining enough.
neutral · AI labelView post →And my decade watch continues with "Medicine Man" from 1992. An okay film that I recall got a lot of interest from the middle-aged "moms" thanks to Sean Connery.

neutral · AI labelView post →Medicine Man (1992) is not good! Not offensively bad, just really not a movie that works. Not really even bad in a fun way, just sort of blandly unentertaining. Pretty good score, I guess.
negative · AI labelView post →Watching Medicine Man a truly strange film that was John McTiernan's follow up to the Hunt for Red October. It's fun to say the word 'Node' in a Sean Connery voice
neutral · AI labelView post →Check out the movie " Medicine Man"
neutral · AI labelView post →To paraphrase Sean Connery in Medicine Man: ‘Have you ever lost anything, Doctor? Your purse? Your car keys? Your Netflix movie starring Nicolas Cage? Well, it’s rather like that: now you have it and now you don’t.’
neutral · AI labelView post →Medicine Man with Sean Connery, it was a journalists’ preview, we walked out halfway through, then there was Polanski’s Full moon Over Paris in a Soho preview theatre where noted film critics were laughing out aloud at some of the script as we were
negative · AI labelView post →Lorraine Bracco picked some interesting projects in the 90s. Like Medicine Man. There’s a line in that movie where she says “this is the cure for cancer” and the delivery is so odd that my husband and I quote it at each other all the time
neutral · AI labelView post →#FilmMusicILove Day 99. Once, o best beloved, there were places called "record stores." And film scores were not yet a niche market. So I could do see John McTiernan's 1992 misfire MEDICINE MAN, say "I really enjoyed Jerry Goldsmith's music," and go buy it! Off a shelf!
neutral · AI labelView post →The ant reminds me of the one featured in the movie Medicine Man.
neutral · AI labelView post →Medicine Man! Why have I seen this film?
neutral · AI labelView post →I was 11 years old and my next-door neighbor invited me to his birthday party, which consisted of going to see Medicine Man in the theater. I got so bored I went to the theater's arcade mid-film. The birthday boy came out and stared me down until I came back into the theater. That kid was a dick.
negative · AI labelView post →In the movie Medicine Man covered recently by Film Sack, I learned that they also are the cure for cancer.

unlabelledView post →I man Letterboxd could just be broken because if you look at the all time popularity ranking you can find The Truman Show (!) at number 10. Have people just lost their minds? It is like waking up and finding out that Out of Africa or Medicine Man is the most rewatched film ever. Seems so random!

unlabelledView post →It's not bad, per se, but I had already seen the 1992 movie Medicine Man (with Sean Connery). Her novel came out almost two decades later, but I'm still surprised there wasn't a lawsuit or at least some criticism for the "similarities".
