The whole plot is he gave them "six months" after his suicide attempt, and they never thought, "therapy?"

negative · AI labelView post →Hello again, friends. 🥰 Did anyone else watch a movie called Me Before You? That shit fucked me up. #skircle #SausagePregnancy #GlutamineDefilement

negative · AI labelView post →As part of my goal to be more intentional for 2025, I'm skooting every time I watch a movie! Finished "Me Before You (2016)" last nite. Decent! A bit saccharine at points but it's my fav trope. Right up there with "A Walk to Remember (2002)" (one of my all-time favorites) #filmsky - thoughts?
neutral · AI labelView post →First draft of my "Me Before You" is a horror movie entry, for the Disability and Horror Movies zine.
neutral · AI labelView post →Me Before You (2016). Very straightforward storyline and movie, but effective and incredibly watchable nonetheless. It has a cracking cast, Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin, with support from Charles Dance and Janet McTeer, along with a cameo by Joanna Lumley #FilmSky
positive · AI labelView post →the erasure of disability in characters that make disabled folk feel seen, I've grown more self-conscious. There's also that movie Me Before You which implies disabled people are a burden on the able bodied folks that love us (+)
negative · AI labelView post →It's a good movie. Her movie Me Before You was really cute too.
positive · AI labelView post →"Me Before You" (Prime) is a really beautiful movie, nothing over the top, good script, good performances and it really grabbed me. So from me, highly recommended. Yes you'll need tissues, but you won't have that blotchy red face, just a dab. 💖💖💖
positive · AI labelView post →Still Me - Jojo Moyes ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A fan of the amazing Me Before You, and film adaptation, I love Lou Clark and her world. neutral · AI labelView post →Love the movie "ME BEFORE YOU", the first time I heard the phrase "tell me something good". We all need a whole lot of that coming our way in the next few years!!! So I guess my "something good" to tell all of you is to watch Me Before You. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lD2q...

positive · AI labelView post →Step 1: not reading the synopsis and throwing a 'mindless looking romcom' movie on as 'background noise' while I work on an art project, thinking I'd also turn it off partway through and go to bed before it ends Step 2: **sobbing** on my couch after watching 'Me Before You' all the way through

What about Me Before You? I love that film. Me: Erm, I think quite a lot of disabled people would object to that…

positive · AI labelView post →After YEARS of putting it off, I’m finally watching the film version of Jojo Moyes’s Me Before You. I bawled for weeks after finishing the book. I’m sure the movie is about to devastate me all the same. Tissues are prepared.
neutral · AI labelView post →I like to watch several movies and stop them at the denouement so that I can watch several endings in a row. Very satisfying. Anyone else do that? Last night's string of movie endings: 1) Coraline, 2) Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and 3) Me Before You. Very eclectic I know.
neutral · AI labelView post →I saw the worst movie ever last night. Me Before You Not only does it have a disabled main character played by an able bodied person, but the whole movie is about how a super wealthy, good looking white guy's life is so worthless because he can't walk that his family let him kill himself. Garbage
negative · AI labelView post →The Martian by Andy Weir or Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. Two very different books. But ones I could reread (or watch the movie adaption) a million times
neutral · AI labelView post →Me Before You, Hard Target, The Way Way Back. Top 3 I recommend right there. One is a classic 90s action film, another is a coming of age movie, and the last is a charming flick.
