Legends of the Fall
In early 20th-century Montana, Col. William Ludlow lives on a ranch in the wilderness with his sons, Alfred, Tristan, and Samuel. Eventually, the unconventional but close-knit family are bound by loyalty, tested by war, and torn apart by love, as told over the course of several decades in this epic saga. From TMDB

"I always needed to get more movie knowledge in my life, because I know a lot about books, TV shows, but movies, not really. I'm still learning." Great attitude.

unlabelledView post →In the film Legends of the Fall, Brad Pitt decides the best way to deal with his war-induced PTSD is to go to foreign lands and engage in more bloodshed, and is then surprised this doesn’t relieve his problem.
unlabelledView post →I'm shooting a historical fiction sci-fi film about Lewis and Clark in the Spring, and I'm trying to make it look as much like a 20th century movie, a la Amadeus or Legends of the Fall. I think the first place to start is having a fog machine to make haze.
unlabelledView post →My prized Brad Pitt poster (he can go piss on a live wire as far as I'm concerned now) was from Legends of the Fall which was far inferior to Interview With The Vampire as a movie but had the sexier poster (that long gorgeous hair!)

unlabelledView post →In my 39 year film career, I have had the good fortune to work with some actors more than once. These two fine men are on that list. I first met Brad and Tony on "Legends of the Fall." Then I worked with Tony on "The Edge," and Brad on "The Assassination of Jesse James." Both were joys on set.

This stunning movie was primarily filmed on location in Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. The Ludlow ranch where the movie was filmed is a real working ranch in Alberta, Canada known as “Creeburn Ranch.
unlabelledView post →Thinking back it's probably Twelve Monkeys. Everyone in that movie was just incredibly at their best. Tbh the mid-90s were just a great time for Brad Pitt films. Se7en, Twelve Monkeys, Legends of the Fall, Interview with the Vampire, The Devil's Own... I did love Mr & Mrs Smith tho 🤭

unlabelledView post →I finished Legends of the Fall. That was a movie-length round of Fuck Marry Kill, eh? I did not expect to end it shouting "SCALP THE IRISH MAFIA" at the screen
unlabelledView post →Tonight’s movie: Legends of the Fall (1994). I feel like I need to watch this one for 90s cultural literacy, though it must also be said, Brad Pitt is a domestic abuser.

unlabelledView post →The word that comes to mind for this one is “epic.” The scope and period remind me a bit of East of Eden, or the movie Legends of the Fall, but centered around a woman pilot and the actress who later plays her. Masterfully realized POV characters. bookshop.org/p/books/grea... #BookThoughts 📚💙

I think it's that need to feel all of the feelings when you haven't experienced any of it yourself yet. Or maybe I was 17 and hung up on tragic romances. Do all teens

I don't much care for Halloween (movie or holiday), so I'll end up watching some GunTube video or some spy thriller or action movie again.
