Now joining the #TCMParty for some Wilder. 1960 was such a wild year for film: The Apartment, Psycho, Breathless, La Dolce Vita, Trou, Rocco and His Brothers, and much more. I saw The Apartment 4k restoration on the big screen a couple of years ago, the outdoor scenes are incredible. #FilmSky

My piece for the Italy themed OFMD zine "La Dolce Vita". I reinterpreted the movie poster for Fellini's "E la nave va," which translates to "And the ship sails on". It's about a cruise ship with a group of absurd characters on board and I thought it would be perfect for them :'D #OFMDfanart

My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 review of LA DOLCE VITA boxd.it/eysqX3 Decadent & gorgeous, Fellini's masterwork is a study of contrasts...exposing the ridiculousness of wealth & celebrity while making it seem so damn appealing. It's worthwhile to acknowledge that movies don't all exist along a Good-Bad axis, but also along an axis of Watchable-Unwatchable. The Super Mario Bros. Movie with Bob Hoskins is Bad and Watchable. La Dolce Vita is Good, but I would be hard-pressed to call it Watchable. Morbius is Terrible, but not even remotely in a fun, Watchable way. It's just cold dog shit. And of course all of these categories are 100% subjective relative to the individual viewer.
