If you don't really care, then buy it. Otherwise I recommend buying the Johren version which can be found on their site (Should be the same price as the Steam version). If you do end up buying this, be sure to pick up the NSFW patch off the Johren site as it adds a route for the twins. All in all you can expect around 30…

unlabelledView post →Kunado Chronicles is a visual novel developed by Purplesoft. If the name Purplesoft sounds familiar it's because we have other translated visual novels by them such as Hapymaher, Chrono Clock, Amatsutsumi, and the upcoming Aoi Tori. Kunado Chronicles has a kinda unique setting and genres. It's technically a post-apocalyptic setting 1000 years in the future compared to typical modern Japan settings, but instead of being the typical sci-fi style, this setting is actually more technologically…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Must hand it too PurpleSoft they do come up with interesting characters, they just don't do anything with them. After leading to a wonderful build-up, fighting an enemy called the Tekki, the VN goes into a long academic spiel losing its audience altogether on the theory of money and economic policy. I got lost altogether finding a plot to follow. None of the characters stood out anymore, all following what the protagonist had to say, being led by the nose. This is not a Chronoclock or some…

The game's story takes place in Kanto, a country that is home to about 800 empowered individuals and is reminiscent of long-lost Japan. The common citizens still cover their faces…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love Purplesoft VNs so I had to buy this (really good price too) Did not disappoint, great story, beautiful art and OST. Translation was solid too. If Shiravune does end up working on more Purplesoft games I hope they could spend more time on the engine work as others have noted this one is clearly missing some features and settings (animated BGs, UI, menus, etc) from the Japanese version.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an excellent story with romance, mystery and good world building. The art is top tier and the h-scenes are completely bonkers. You need to get the patch from the publisher.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another day, and another great release by Shiravune. Please have mercy on my wallet! (JK, keep up the good work!) Onto the VN itself; if you know PurpleSoft and have been around in the VN scene for a short while, chances are you may have played some of their previous works and it does not need any other introduction. To keep it short, If you're a fan of solid world building with interesting cast of characters, appreciate a good story coupled with romance, action in between & comedies every…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After finishing Amatsutsumi earlier this year, I was left wanting more. There is Aoi Tori to look forward to, but I wanted something to fill the void much sooner. In comes a potential candidate in Kunado Chronicles, which is set in the same universe as Amatsutsumi just like Aoi Tori is. And after finishing my ~30 hour-long read, I have to say that this most definitely did NOT fill the void like I had hoped. Kunado Chronicles comes in swinging with some strong hooks, such as with this insane…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one is nice VN with unique setting than usual. The art of this VN really beautiful and georgeous. The plot is good, but I almost too much lore ended up dumped away( protagonist tekki power almost never used, lol ). I bit didn't like amnesia protagonist because cliche of gacha game, but it have good actual reason for him. The only problem is the heroines. Other than Haruhime the main heroine, other heroine feel half baked. And they even lack of expression not like the main heroine.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →⭐ Kunado Chronicles: An action-oriented title that blends sci-fi and its "isekai" setting, in a world where humanity is crippled. Pros: • Hype supernatural fight scenes • Interesting discussions of rebuilding society • Romance is linked to the self-improvement of characters that complement the above fact Cons: • Surface-level dive of social economics, never truly dives down and comments on it • Conflict is forced by necessity • MC's constant perverted comments may be a turn off • Haruhime…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great story to read too bad that Kirikiri port is so ridden with issues i hope they will fix them all soon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kunado Chronicles, developed by Purple Software and published on Steam by Shiravune, is a story-driven visual novel set in a far-future world reshaped by catastrophe. Blending post-apocalyptic science fiction with mythic overtones and character-focused drama, the game presents a civilization that has survived the destruction of modern technology and rebuilt itself under drastically altered social norms. The result is a richly imagined setting where ancient fears, cultural regression, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its pretty weak compare to Amatsutsumi/Aoi Tori. But if this is your first purple soft game, give it a try.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I LOVE IT A LOT, I LOVE IT SO MUCH I JUST DON'T HAVE WORDS TO SAY, THAT I JUST WANT TO MAKE A VIDEO ON IT.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kunado Chronicles is an epic story, one about humanity and our species’ great strength - the ability to move forward. The writer took time to create a solid foundation for the world-building, and every story segment indicates a sense of progression even until the climax. It amazed me how coherent the story was, the narrative has a clear direction and knows when to shift the tone to keep readers’ engagement. Despite loving the narratives, I’m a bit disappointed that the writer doesn’t try to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has an interesting take on post-apocalyptic world theme as well as some problems that are very likely to appear as a result of the ensuing fallout not to mention a very refreshing and interesting story
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's better than before but the performance still sucks I got error sometimes when I open log or stuff if we are not talking about performance then yeah go for it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The lack of things and glitches of the game did bother me a lot, but eventually I decided to drop it and not care about any sort of ''patch notes'' to fix things up, as that should not be my main priority, and instead, its the story of the game that should be focused on more. A lot of visual novels didn't have ''special effects'', and good settings but they did manage to make the plot pretty great! Speaking of story, and...at least in my opinion, it's solid, much more fun than Amatsutsumi, I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a bit weird. It's connected to another game, Amatsutsumi, and the power of Kotodama is explored deeper here. It's a moege with attractive ladies, but it features politics, economics, and talks about civilization. It's set 1000 years into the future, and Humankind is battling a mysterious foe, some sentient lifeform. It's interesting but a bit protracted. The ending is pretty good and fulfilling. It lasts under 40 hours, so you have to allocate a bit of time, but it's a pretty…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has a lot of twists and perhaps mind-blowing revelations. Although, the quality of this VN isn't very good when compared to the original Purple Software release.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →done yuri route and its fricking good, RECEOMMEND
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was good VN, i like the battle and Kotodama story all routes had good problem and solution, that what not all VN have this just minor problem, every time i take a screenshot it always has black area, maybe cause windowed? anyway 8/10 for me
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another Purple Software and Mikage (Writer of Amatsutsmi) VN. This game, in-differ to their previous games (Amatsutsmi and Aoi Tori), has a lot less of Ero-Content. But in-return, you got more story and world building. Which is I personally thinks is fair enough. But I still would love to have some more romance with these character and settings personally. If anything, I would recommend anyone who wants to plays this, please checks out Amatsutsumi first (Outside of Steam, Recommended JAST…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know why this is currently sitting at mixed reviews. I guess it wasn't what some people were expecting? I went in blind with no expectations. I wasn't sure I'd like it at first, but I just finished and I loved it. There are a couple criticisms that could be levelled at the story. Nothing's perfect after all. But the characters and the world grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go. The music and voice-acting really helps with this. I wasn't sure I'd like the voice-acting at first, but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Edit: After comparing my notes with the current version of the game I can finally change my review to positive. There are still some differences to the original release but most of the important features people reading other Purple Software games are expecting were re-added to Kunado Chronicles. All other games from the same developer that got an English localization, namely ChronoClock, Hapymaher, Amatsutsumi kept using their original engine (CMVS) and aren't missing any features of the…

The world has been ravaged by unspeakable, heartless abominations; a shadow of its former self. Civilization is long gone, and the dragon is no more.
