That's not moderation, that's arrogance. Lift the bans and apologize publicly, or don't expect another cent from us. Not Recommended.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Found myself farming achievements on this fun little piece of nostalgia. Then the game asked me for $5 to unlock an achievement. Uninstalled. Never looked back.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too grindy. Instead of using quests as a basis of progression, you're expected to voluntarily spawn in enemies and kill them over and over again to get the level and gear required to do the next quest. The dialogue is not interesting enough to justify the grind. Then it also wants you to sink all of your money for area-specific loot: which means even more spawning enemies in up to 5 at a time and AoE killing them all in one shot...over and over and over and over.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Broken game. Totally unsupported. Official support channels are a series of broken links. Developers do not respond to bug reports. The game balance is pretty bad. Most classes, spells, and items are either worthless or overpowered. Combat is grindy and boring. Fighting mobs for XP or money is tedious and too easy, except for a few mobs that are way harder than equivalents at their level. There really isn't much correlation between mob level and mob difficulty, nor between player…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →super dissappointed. i loved the free version to i decided to pick up the "full" version, specifically i paid for the one with all the DLC and everything. but as it turns out, this version hasnt had ANY updates that the free version got. it has less content than the free version. i wish i could just have the free version but without all the dumbass microtransactions. super dissappointing :(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The sprites are ugly and clearly the work of an amateur. The translation is horrible but not as bad as the UI on a Desktop. The game is poorly balanced, being a port of a free mobile game, and the DLC is tied to the main game, giving that terrible feeling of an incomplete experience to force you to buy it. Speaking of forcing, you need to log into a third-party service within the game to continue playing, again, in the middle of the game, which gives, once again, a terrible impression, not…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not that I disliked the game, but that I just don't recommend it to others really. It's pretty grindy and repetitive for the entire game and losing is punishing with snowball-esque effects. I love the refereces and comedy of the game as well as artstyle. The quests and enemy ideas are very unique. It is unfortunate that the gameplay doesn't back it up though...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I always loved this game. Having played a few tabletop RPGs gave me a bit of insight into why I liek and do not like games. And I noticed: This game isn't good. The difficulty comes from randomness. I never noticed that before. But actually, agro seems to mean nothing at all. I made a tank who gets like 200 aggro every fight. And my ninja has like 4 aggro. In the whole group, that's like 78% of the aggro and 2% of the aggro. That means: Only 2 out of 100 attacks should be directed at her. In…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent game, much like the first game. Fairly grindy, methodical and slow. Perfect for old school RPG'er like myself. Helps if you're in to D&D because that's basically what the game is based off of. It's unfortunate there's extra content locked behind a paywall but all achievements can be earned in the base game. It runs about 20 to 25 hours long if you intend to unlock all the achievements. The campaign itself is only around 8 to 10 hours depending on how adept you are at these types of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Knights of Pen and Paper 2 builds off of the same formula as the first game, and it still delivers quite a bit of fun. You are basically roleplaying D&D players playing an RPG game, and it adds a degree of meta interactions and jokes. The story itself doesn't really stand out (basically just fetch quests and battles), but that isn't really the focus of the game. Gameplay wise, there is a lot of different classes, abilities, and ways to build up your team leading to different types of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not worth your money or your time. The game isn't funny but tries to be, isn't really fun, certainly isn't innovative, and isn't interesting or pretty to look at. If you're the sort of person that likes to theorycraft and build parties around synergies, i'll tell you right now the possibilities are pretty limited. Certain character/class combos are must-haves, most others are godawful or redundant and there just aren't enough open spots in the party for you to be messing around. there's no…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game lacks basic save functionality, the only way to save the game is "Save and Quit" and there is zero autosave, so if you want to save the game you are forced to quit at the same time. If you dont want to quit, its not possible to save the game, so if your computer crashes, you will lose all progress. What a joke! I lost 3 hours of progress because my computer crashed!!! It is the year 2024 and game lacks basic autosave? What a joke!!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Late game sucks, and the UI is terrible in general when it comes to wanting to do things quickly. There are basically no hotkeys that would help with this slowness. Making enemies bullet sponges and making them resist all conditions after a certain point makes the game slow to a crawl. Traps in dungeons suck, and make the dungeons slow to a crawl.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, not a great game. Gameplay loop gets repetitive quick and it gets boring after maybe a couple of hours.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would recommend it but the dragons expansion is just torture so many ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dungeons. The game is grindy as hell and then this...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As this is a game coming from mobile, there are a lot of relics that were used to nickel & dime the customer. Thankfully this has been torn out, so you can play to your hearts content instead of having to pay to continue your travels. What's left is an abundance of monotonous grinding, so if you're into dungeon crawlers, this should do nicely, for all others: don't bother, not really worth it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I strongly condemn the administrator who blocks people on Discord simply for using the picture of Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Stop imposing such unfair sanctions on people without properly studying and understanding historical facts.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An enjoyable Dungeons and Dragons-style adventure. Not too difficult and easy to build up your party. Made even more enjoyable with the storyline, side quests and sense of humour to never take itself too seriously.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →-A celebration of the highs, lows and idiosyncrasies of role-playing, with a solid turn-based battle backbone. -Cool concept which is combine traditions of fantasy video games and nerd culture than through a game where you role-play as a role-player -Good sense of humour -It’s really fun discovering how the various combinations play out as you level up and put stats into different abilities, and you can swap players in and out of your party at the tavern. -The cons of this game maybe just had…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought this would be a fun game to play on the Steamdeck and to some extent, it is. Although some of the writing is quite fun, the main issue is that once you've opened up the map and seen the locations it has to offer, you start feeling like every "quest" you go on is just another run through something you've already done many times over. Since the progression, character and equipment mechanics aren't too deep, you're left completing quests for a small purse of gold. It gets extremely…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Must admit, I beat the game, I got the DLC, I really tried to 100% this game, however I just couldn't do it anymore. I have beaten part 1 back when it came out and there is just too much with this game to give it a recommendation unless on sale. The Biggest issue is even after 20 hours of game play the end game bosses require you get to at least level 43-50 to be of any chance. So curious, I took a look online to see what happens....you get a good job, here is an item you'll never use…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is awful. Don't waste your money
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought the game and immediately played for 13 hours. It's currently 4am... I tried the mobile version which I enjoyed so checked out if it was on steam and now 13 hours later I'm here writing this review. Biggest differences between steam version and mobile version - Less inflation of regular gold on steam - No crystals/gems to buy game room furniture. - Game costs money to buy, which I'm assuming is why it's not built on microtransactions here How far am I? I don't even know

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let me explain how fast I uninstalled this. I didn't even go through the obligatory save and exit upon the last achievement popping. I alt F4'd straight into steam and killed the game before even typing this review. Boring, grindy, tons of recycled and lazy assets. You can tell this was a sequel just to make a sequel - it lacked all the charm of its predecessor. It takes 14 hours to grind all the achievements in a single run, for anyone who feels like ignoring me. Use Jock + Ninja + Sudden…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game but Paradox started a racist campaign against Turkish people. We won't stop until the people behind is punished and fired for this. Targeting the people that loved and supported your games for many years, is the stupidest move ever. I hope you fix this. As an enjoyer of this game, I had to say something against this racist campaign. It is a great sorrow for me to leave this comment here. I hope I don't have to keep this comment more than some days.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The turn-based system is functional but doesn't evolve much mechanically as you progress, so late-game fights can feel like padding. If jokes aren't your thing, a lot of the writing will land flat, and there's a lot of writing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excessively grindy. Some cool mechanics, but poor balance.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a guy who has never played d'n'd before this was a nice introduction .Also this was years ago . I rediscovered it recently. Quite a fun game , very nice if u have to kill time in between assignments.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A team adventure game where you form your own adventure squad, buy the right equipment, and then go defeat the enemies. It's a very well-made little game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun :3 enjoyable game to 100% while watching shows
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I hate dungeons. Pros: - Not a hard game at all, the main route is very easy and you can build the team the way you want without worrying about the perfect build - The music and graphics are nice - The universe of the game is well built Mid: - Going place to place, specially if they are far apart, is just boring Cons: - Dungeons are BS, they are randomized and sometimes you enter a room and get hit by like 2-3 things that do a lot, a LOT, of damage and after that you have to face a full…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had multiple play throughs but this is my first time completing every quest and almost all achievements (didnt complete the bestiary) Took me about 16 hours of play time on this playthrough with 1000+ in game days and my characters are level 42. Cant recommend enough
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I ummed and ahhed about whether I wanted to give this a positive review or not, same as the other game in the series. Knights of Pen and Paper are fun games but after a while they begin to feel too much like a grind. So great to start meh to finish. Suppose its on me for playing both of them.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →KoP&P2 pretty much improves on everything that made the first game so enjoyable. It's still full of pop-culture references; it's still full of charm; it still has the same pixel-style graphics but also adds a crafting system, skill upgrades, and equipment customization to vary the gameplay. It also feels a bit less grindy than the predecessor.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Surprisingly boring. Somewhat entertaining for up to an hour, then it's tedious.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoyed the game for the first 6 hours. After that it became a monotonous grindfest with very samey combat throughout.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed Knights of Pen & Paper 1 but this game is such a slog
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the most greatest yet simple RPGs I ever played. It is so addicting, you will lose all track of time as you grind away without even knowing you are grinding. I recommend this game for everyone of all ages to play this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full completion is a bit too grindy, although some grind is expected it just gets very repetitive. Even doing the story got quite repetitive, but it's still a fun playthrough the first time around.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thoroughly enjoyable RPG with a fast-paced and easy to understand combat system. All of the classes feel unique with their game play that can be tailored to the type of party you want to have. Story is simple pretty simple in its satire but that's also what is appealing about it. Goofy fun that is very self-aware of typical tabletop tropes. Music was also catchy and I liked all tracks in the game. They weren't anything to rave about, but fulfilled their role nicely. Will for sure use of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I couldn't finish it, I was too bored. I don't remember why exactly, but one thing is certain: It's a bad game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They improved this game a lot since release. They added mobile functionality but added a bunch of overpriced DLC behind the "great paywall of china," after they joked about avoiding the paywall during the original campaign. Even if the game is a lot better now, more fair and balanced, more fun and engaging these devs are sell-outs. Before selling out I would rate this 2/10. Now I would say that this game is 6/10 if you avoid the DLC and 4/10 if you need to buy DLC to have fun because it is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yeah, you are not going to escape this...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lacks the charm and humor of the first game, relying heavily on repetitive grinding. The balancing feels off, pushing mechanics that resemble mobile microtransaction tactics.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shorter than the first game, even with the DLCs, but somehow much more grind-heavy. Especially going for 100% completion became pretty tedious – the final achievement alone was an absolute pain to get. Other than that, it still has the same charm as the first game: funny jokes, entertaining quests, and the same kind of simple but enjoyable gameplay. It’s definitely a niche game, though. If you already enjoy this type of RPG, you’ll probably have a good time. If not, this won’t change your…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was shocked by how charming and endearing this game was when first booting it up. If you are a fan of D&D, Pathfinder, or any TTRPG/Digital RPG games, this game is a great way to enjoy them with all the humor you'd expect. It was obviously made with care and passion as every quest, location, and NPC is a mix of fun nostalgia and self aware jokes regarding the genre. The game systems are very tight and intuitive, as it prioritizes a good game experience most. 8.5/10 would roll initiative…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Knights of Pen and Paper 2. An rpg based on table top games like Dungeons and Dragons.
unlabelledView post →Every time I beat another big quest I think the game is complete, and surprise, there's more! I haven't even bought the DLC (yet) and there's tonnes to do and challenges to meet. Hours of entertainment, good game! EDIT: HEADS UP for completionists! You CANNOT get the final achievement without purchasing the DLC. It's a great game and totally worth it, but if you're aiming to 100% the achievements, you should know to go ahead and make both purchases from the start.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Way worse than the first Also insanely rigged RNG. Avoid
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game. A bit daunting to get into after a break. But, love the idea that you can be optimal or you can do whatever you want. I love the creativity of mixing class members and classes.
