Well, boys. It's bad. I gave it a long time to see if they'd fix it...Nah, they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 'er. A lot of homies on here say that Killing Floor 2 is a masterpiece, glorious, and a true advancement from the original! And that Killing Floor 3 is a major surprise. It really wasn't if you guys remember KF2's release. KF2 got so much ♥♥♥♥ for shipping with barely any content. KF2 had loot boxes which was the mark of the devil that battlepasses are today, back then. The difference: KF2 actually gritted…

If you are a fan of KF1 or KF2, don't buy this game, you will be very disappointed. I waited years for this game, just to be let down by this company trying to copy other games and combine them all into this game where it has become nothing that the old games even came close to being . Stick to the older games, don't buy this even when its on sale, save your dosh.

Killing Floor 3 I wish to forget this game ever came out. This is a killing floor game in name only, every other aspect of the game feels like an early access mobile game. To who ever the Lead Designer is that approved this mess, you should be ashemed of yourself. To fellow Killing floor fans, stick to Original Killing floor and Killing Floor 2.

Well, after two beta tests, four battle-pass seasons, patches, and more than a year after release, I have to admit that the game is ... mostly playable. Now you can have some fun here if you meet a few simple conditions. Firstly, be sure to have a decent PC with higher performance than devs "Recommend". Otherwise, be ready to choose between "Feels fine" and "Looks fine." You can only pick one. Secondly, you shouldn't expect to get the same experience as you had in KF1 and KF2. The game still…

Tripwire struck gold with Killing Floor 1. They created a gritty co-op wave survival horror shooter that at its core was just COD Zombies but presented in a way that was so much more appealing, both in design and gameplay. While KF1 was cool, it felt dated and at times clunky and badly needed a facelift, a call which Killing Floor 2 answered. Better graphics, more fleshed out characters and lore, awesome gunplay and animations, perk progression, character customization, and SO much content…

How do you have 10+ years of experience and this is all you come up with? I also do no give a ♥♥♥♥ if Killing Floor 2 started off weak and with less content too. ♥♥♥♥ off with that. At 10+ years you should know not to release with such little content.

Adding text chat and calling it a 'MaJoR uPdAtE' was the final nail in the coffin. Glad they're bringing back foundational online multiplayer features, but a little too late. Doesn't seem like mod support is planned anywhere in the cards either so game will die like it deserves to.

Please, for the love of God, take some notes from Killing Floor 2. Everything about this game feels like a cheap knockoff of your previous games. The HUD, gunplay, weapons, enemies, gore, literally all of the above, have been greatly downgraded to look like a solo developer title. This is an utter disrespect to the OG fans of the Killing Floor series. I expected a lot more from Tripwire Interactive when the trailer captured the essence of what made Killing Floor so horrific and terrifying to…

This is a cash grab and testing ground for the possibility of a battle royale movement system at behest of their out of touch investors wanting infinite growth wearing the skin of the franchise. KF2 had developer videos detailing the process and the game felt alive. As is likely the case of such downfalls, most of the original developers and the like have long departed or been forced out, this was Killing Floor only in name.

First and foremost, let me say that Killing Floor is one of my favorite franchises. I started all the way back with KF1, and when KF2 launched, I instantly bought it and have never really stopped playing it. I might not have the most hours in the game, but played it on and off throughout the years. I was quite hyped for KF3, and initially on launch I had a 50/50 feeling. I liked some parts, disliked other parts. Nonetheless, I still had fun for the first 10–20 hours, partly because it felt…

Just don't. Go ahead and buy KF2 when it's on sale for like 2$. I typed out this comment below on an update page. I think it'll effectively reach more of the people that need to see it here in the reviews, along with the negative statistic it deserves. I've given the developers time to work out bugs and optimization, and I've given this game a chance, but it is beyond redemption. After nearly a year since it's 1.0 release, it is clear that there is no passion to create an enjoyable and fun to…

The game is still far from being good. Hopefully in the following years it will get all the love as the devs push more updates (hopefully more regularly too). It's more like an investment rather than something you should play non stop with a lot of content. Because it doesn't have that. Will change my review to positive if the team proves they are capable to make a good game from a bad start.

Imagine having a bunch of users excited and waiting for the new version of a franchise thy love and then deliver this, a totally different game from the previous 2. This is not a KF game, This is a whole new game with the KF name attached to it. Why?: - Guns are complicated and heavily limited - Perks are tied to avatars? Hey Tripwire, you should tell Embracer to eat ♥♥♥♥ and stop killing games and their developers. Let's count! Tripwire, Volition, Free Radical, and I'm probably missing quite a few. Yeah I just checked, they are responsible for over 4000 layoffs (probably a lot more) and 40 studio closures. Good luck Tripwire, you're next on the cutting board for people who simply don't care.

Back in October I said: This game hasn't reached its full potential yet, but the Rearmament Update has definitely taken it several steps in the right direction. Fast forward to Season 3 and it just keeps getting better, despite the really tough launch. Balance changes to zed health and spawn rates have shaken things up, making matches way more hectic and fun. The new weapons, Trenchgun and Tekko Kagi (aka Claws), are fun as hell to play with. Adding 10-wave Long mode has been a blast. With…

1,000~ Hours in KF2, and KF3 is a Massive Step Backward I want to support the devs for trying something new, I really do. But the execution just feels incredibly poor. It feels like they took elements from Deep Rock Galactic, Overwatch, and Left 4 Dead, slapped them together, and completely lost the identity of what made Killing Floor great. The UI and matchmaking are an absolute downgrade. In KF2, everything was on one simple main menu. You could browse servers and get into a game with a…

I had a LOT of hype coming into Killing Floor 3. I've been playing Killing floor since 2009, I remember waking up at or before 6am to shower before school, jump on the game and play a West London Solo Medic run with XBOW and lever action (Before the weapon nerf, the addition of medic guns, and prestige, and even then it PUMPED). All the additions of funny characters, maps, and classes felt like a genuine vibe to the game, it all fit and felt like it was a game made by gamers, for gamers. When…

If this release was labelled as early access I feel the reception would've been much more forgiving. Basically - why would I play this instead of KF2, when right now this game has only a fraction of the maps and guns? I also don't care for the new mechanics, for me the changes mostly range from "who cares" to "that's annoying, put it back"

its actually heart crushing, i'm a long time fan of the killing floor series and when killing floor 3 came out i have never been more disappointed. Not only did they seem to somehow go backwards in game innovation but they also seem to make the gameplay far more restrictive and boring. This is gonna be an awkward and long review, but I hope it sheds some light on the current vibe of the game for Tripwire: TL;DR: Pros: It's a graphical improvement to the KF line and they've adapted more features and fighting inputs. Cons: It's not finished yet, but the way it plays makes me feel like tripwire won't just leave it here (so that's good actually). OVERVIEW: Loved KF1 and KF2. Played KF2 for obnoxious years. After 190h in this game I can clearly say it's a failure. There is no new content, no balance fixing, even no fix of buds like not working ninja's ability for some reason that makes the class useless. There is no tactic in this game, you just shoot everything that moves till it's dead. In KF2 we had various ways to kill scrakes and fp, each mob had a unique moveset and tactic against it. I want to start by saying that I loved Killing Floor 2, but this game feels like a step down in comparison. Yes, the graphics are better. Yes, you can now add attachments to your guns, which is a great addition. And yes, enemy behavior has changed due to the new setting. However, despite these improvements, the overall gameplay feels rather bland. It's still far from being as good as KF 1 or 2, it's definitely something else but it's not as bad as people claim it to be. Biggest problems IMO are the lack of guns, restricted syringe uses and can't heal teammates anymore. Killing Floor 3: A Technical Mess Holding Back a Fun Shooter Killing Floor 3 has the foundations of a genuinely enjoyable co-op shooter. The gunplay is fun, there is a decent variety of enemies and classes, and playing alongside friends can be a great time. KF3 kinda lost its way. KF1 and 2 were silly at times, and didn't take itself too seriously. Because of that, some of the flaws of the game were more forgiving. KF3 is rather stern and rigid, and I don't feel invested in the characters. The level up mechanisms is a clear improvement over kf1/2, and you can mod the weapons like deadspace. Considering Killing Floor 3's core premise, the game is a success: fighting waves of monstrous enemies using powerful weapons and gadgets is always fun, especially with a well-coordinated squad. The problem is that, despite offering good variety at first, things become repetitive and uninspiring over time. It's a good suggestion for FPS fans or players who enjoy more hardcore cooperative games.

I don’t know what’s more broken right now — the game or my patience. Killing Floor 3 is currently suffering from that issue, you know, the one that makes the game borderline unplayable unless you enjoy staring at loading screens, broken systems, or features that clearly weren’t finished before someone yelled “ship it.” This doesn’t feel like a sequel; it feels like a tech demo that escaped containment. I might get flamed for this, but honestly, the game has gotten way better and more playable for me since release. At first, I had a ton of bugs and crashes while playing, but in the past 20 hours of playtime, my game hasn’t crashed at all. If they keep improving performance and add Gunslinger and Demo perks, as well as an endless game mode, I’ll be happy. It’s sad that they rushed out an unfinished game, but let’s keep our hopes up!

The second worst FPS I've ever played. It's an achievement in counterdesign. I almost can't believe they didn't make it like this on purpose. Edit: It's bad enough the game is as awful as it is, it's also literally unplayable. Terrible performance and constant crashing. I cannot level gunslinger since clicking on my new skill instantly crashes the game.

The game launched in a very rough state, with over 30k on launch and then losing more than 90% of those players within just a few months, averaging about 200-300 players on steam on a normal basis if we put aside the updates, limited free trials and 50% off offers. A year later, the game has now improved(no more specialists locked to specific perks, better optimization compared to what it was a year ago, new content such as maps, weapons and more). These improvements is a big step in the right…

Okay. I missed the launch of this game, which appears to have been a blessing-- that said, I feel the need to post this review to help counter the crybaby Killing Floor player base who are actively killing the best iteration of this game. When a company drops the ball on launch, which happens so often these days, yes it's frustrating. It's not, however, an excuse to perma-bomb it because you're salty. ESPECIALLY when the devs receive the feedback and make reasonable changes. Enter me.…

KF3 definitely has potential but there are some things really holding it down. For starters optimization for this game is quite literally non existent. To be fair that's on me for not checking the required specs before buying. The game feels rushed and still unfinished and some of the new gameplay features kind of remind me of Helldivers. Mainly the starting hub, the mission selection screen and the scavenging the maps for resources for upgrades. Most maps are bleak and lack personality. The…
