checked out Shivers (1975) AKA It Came From Within which was kinda junky in a decidedly funny way, like knowing what we know NOW you can see how the Cronenberg Yet to Come in the movie but if it had been made by Joe Somebody we'd probably dismiss it as an above average '70s quasi-exploitation flick

oh wow. I never met her or anything but I worked for the Joe Somebody film production, in which she had a role, so I feel a very tenuous connection. 36 is so young. Very sad.

Joe Somebody was filmed like a mile from my childhood home.I don't remember if they make many verbal references to the area,but basically every background shot is familiar to me,which made it kind of surreal to watch as a kid. Movie is pretty forgettable besides that. (Plus, you know, Tim Allen.)
