What people are saying
Mostly positive but buggy early access IT simulator.
Many players praise the game's realistic portrayal of IT work, with some calling it a 10/10 simulator. However, numerous bugs and a clunky UI frustrate users, making it feel like troubleshooting the game itself. [1][3][8][10][29][35]
Some find the game repetitive and lacking in content, while others appreciate its educational value for aspiring IT professionals. A few criticize the use of AI-generated art and the lack of beginner-friendliness. [2][12][24][27][28][31]

60 of 215 · most liked firstWhile I initially liked the core features and concept of the game, I am requesting a refund due to the excessive use of AI-generated art throughout the product. As a game about the IT community, using generative AI feels incredibly out of touch. The IT and tech communities heavily oppose generative AI replacing human artists and workers, and seeing it used so heavily here ruins the immersion and enjoyment of the game. I cannot support a product that relies on this practice.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't believe that I, an IT Specialist, paid to play IT Specialist Simulator. First ticket was a wallpaper change. It's just as irritating in real life to deal with end users as it is in the game. Second ticket was a printer job, I wanted to quit immediately. 10/10 simulator, can confirm it's realistic.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mixed thoughts in random order. I got this game to learn some IT stuff and while it is interesting, there are bugs that could be fixed, typos corrected and QOL improvements to be made. 1: The map is trash. How am I supposed to use it when its zoomed into my character. The zoom in function works. Zooming out? good luck. I haven't been able to see the full map at once. instead I'm locked at looking at 5% of the map at a time. Also being able to set the map into a locked position instead of…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You know your mental health is declining when you come home from your job to play a Simulator of the same job. S E N D H E L P
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the workday should have about 1-2 hours of teams meetings, other than that, fairly realistic sim.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried for 78 minutes and I was on easy. I just do not know what to do so I cant solve the problems. IMO its just not beginner friendly yet.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you work in IT, this game is very interesting and overall fun. If you do not work in IT, this is a very close simulator with things you have to deal with in a real working environment. However, it is incredibly buggy. Even with the sale, I do not think it is worth buying at the moment. For example, your PDF reader app stops working and you no longer can access any documentation you need to complete tasks if you do not have them memorized or screenshotted onto your computer. On day 2, you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is nothing more relaxing then coming home from your 8 hour first level support shift and playing a game and dealing with the same ♥♥♥♥. I recommend big times.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game definitely has potential, but right now there are too many bugs. Getting stuck at workstations, (E key doesn't do anything) escape key to check tickets and mark them complete randomly stops working (screen dims). Needs a quick or autosave option, as right now it appears the only point to save is when you end the day. If you run into a bug with 30 minutes left in the day, you have to start the entire day over because you didn't make it to the save point. Another patch or two to iron out…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still Lacking Potential I really wanted to like this game. It has a solid concept and definitely captures the feeling of working in tech support. But small issues add up quickly, and right now they hold the experience back. The Frustrating Parts Reputation system feels punishing. You earn around 2–4 reputation per customer, but if you accidentally leave a cable in your inventory at the end of a shift? Instant -70 reputation. There’s no way to remove it once time runs out. That penalty feels…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm an Applications Analyst. I often refuse to play this game because it feels too realistic to an actual work day of mine. I instantly hated my coworkers, printer issues are annoying, server issues suck, badge in machines barely work, and tickets don't stop. 10/10 realistic experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game so much. With the current job market, it’s been incredibly helpful in giving me the closest thing to real-world, hands-on training. Could you please add simulators for the following IT roles: Network Administrator, Cloud Engineer, Cybersecurity Analyst, IT Support Engineer, Security Analyst, or SOC Analyst?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To begin with, I 100% this version of the game, got all the achievements and thoroughly enjoyed my time. I do have a background in IT so some of the gameplay came naturally. Given that this game is still in early access, bugs were expected. Playing early access is like paying to be a QA tester in all honesty. I'll start with the cons: CONS: -The UI is SUPER janky. I cannot express my frustration with having multiple buttons to enter/exit a device. For example, you press T to pull up and put…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty realistic IT Specialist Job simulator. It's definitely not for everyone - it's more serious than most simulator games. It's trying to teach you how to do actual IT work done. The names of the OS and companies are made up to avoid copyright issues, and there's actually some fun element in the naming itself - if you're Polish, you'll know. The tasks, are pretty down to the ground, though. You manually adjust the BIOS settings, configure network cards settings, set up router configuration,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game is fun, I'm currently waiting for more updates, the tasks got repetitive, but I got it the game is relativelly new, it would be nice to have the possibility to choose different roles in the IT field and grow up on those fields, as for example: Developer, Manager, Engineer (Network/Systems), DevOps, Analyst etc
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I changed jobs not to do helpdesk and be responsible for infrastructure Now I play this game and do what I hate the most: Help Desk It is absolute hell and represents Help Desk work The users are absolute dumb, 11/10 - True Help Desk Experience (It's atrocious)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Paid DLC for achievements. (Buy supporter pack to get achievements.... AHHAHAH) Dosen't add more to the game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even though it's early access this game is great. I love that it's fairly realistic in that it operates like real computers. I love this game so I'm going to tear it to pieces on the bad, but talk highly of the moment this game became an addiction to me. The Good The realism is high with how computers work. There's real troubleshooting involved. My favorite moment so far was seeing that after I fixed a computers IP config it still didn't work. I immediately went to check if it was plugged in.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Title: Fun concept, but frustrating for beginners I had high hopes for this game as someone starting a career in IT—it seemed like a fun way to get hands-on experience. Unfortunately, it’s more frustrating than fun, even on easy mode. Some tasks are straightforward if you experiment, but others can drive you mad. For example, when using the ping command, nothing seems to happen. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or if the game expects a different input, which is confusing for beginners. Since…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really great game for anyone interested in getting into the IT field. I know it’s still in Early Access, so the content is a bit limited right now and there are a few bugs here and there, which is understandable. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on future updates, especially to see if more tasks reflect real-world IT roles like Helpdesk, Technician, Engineer, or even Manager-type work. I honestly think this game has a lot of potential. Some things I’d personally love to see in the future: -…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →End user wants her wallpaper set to a green tone. Simple enough—except there are no green-toned wallpapers. None. Not a single usable option. I check twice, just in case reality decides to cooperate. It doesn’t. So I make a call: quietly step away from the desk and start troubleshooting things that actually matter. Bigger issues. Real problems. The kind that don’t revolve around someone’s aesthetic preferences. Hours later, I get the email. Salty. Passive-aggressive. “Concerns about…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has A LOT of potential but I can't recommend it for everyone at this point. Game is repetitive, and mostly instead of being confused on what to do, you're confused on what THE GAME is doing. The UI and the actions are clunky, a lot of the times don't really do what you want. There are so many little things that pilled on top of each other, make you just frustrated instead of enjoying the game for what it is. Admittedly the visuals also aren't the best either (and I know that doesn't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, I can't wait to see what else you'll add and polish. Personally, the only thing I find a pity is that it lacks the social aspect of work, with random events, a phone call from someone who didn't submit a ticket but contacts us anyway, and some office life. Once again, it's a great game, and congrats to the devs!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm was a general Sys Admin for about 6 years and then specialized in cloud based technologies. I can honestly say a lot of this is practical to a day in the life of a sys admin. However, I will say documentation of devices, software, and a real ticket system are needed. Maybe incorporate a RMON tool as well. Game mechanics, PLEASE ADD AN AUTO SAVE. Days are too long to not have a way to save progress mid day. I can recommend this but for people not interested in IT field, they might…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Typical day of commercial / corporate IT work. Professional equipment restarter and cable replacer. Would be cool to see you introduce something so we can actually go to our apartment and customize it instead of being at work 24/7, even tho it is lowkey accurate.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →got my MFA working and then was bombarded with tickets, including a printer issue. Stressfully realistic.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is good, don't get me wrong. I'm sure they'll add even more tasks and variety. This basically has infinite possibilities. My only problem is the headbob. It very quickly makes me nauseous and I basically have to look away when walking. If they add an option to disable it, I'll buy it again and change my review.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think it's pretty neat to play around with. I have not played the game as a game. I've been peeking around in tutorial/sandbox. Why? I need to train first. lol I used to work on my PCs a lot back in the day. I still do sometimes. Some commands are missing, some are new? (to me). I like walking around and hopping on the other PCs and messing around with them. It'd be really cool if there were secrets hidden on the other PCs that lead to a mystery being solved. The free roam is neat as…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →getting hands on experience from a game and not having to look for an entry level job is just great.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having worked this role IRL, I am surprised how much fun I actually am having with this. If you are a hardcore nerd and love the dopamine hits of a closed ticket, this is the game for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like many others have said, there's a really good game here somewhere, but the bugs are just too much to handle currently. I want to troubleshoot the computer in-game, not the game itself. Once they get the bugs ironed out I'll give it another shot and give a more in-depth review. For now, stay away until it's truly done.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game for somebody who wants to experience troubleshooting common IT issues. There are still some bugs to iron out but I would imagine that these will continue to be resolved as the developers are responsive on Discord. Some tasks can get repetitive but they have added new ones since its launch and there is a lot of room for growth in this aspect. Have seen some people complaining about graphics, which are neat but not exceptional, but this isn't a dealbreaker for me. I believe it is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I work in IT I bought this and then started to play A user sent me an email to change its wallpaper and color theme, i had to make sure it would match the colors of the wallpaper cause the user wouldnt accept a mismatch of colors It made me angry just like in real life 10/10 realism This is a real simulator
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's something to the game but it really needs more work. My 2 cents in no specific order: - Some of the issues feel exactly like real life, others... not at all. - The server manager shows a file server, but no AD, yet you can create groups and users, and a domain name exists. - Some users require things that would be denied right away, and would be immediately overridden by GPOs. - All users appear to have admin permissions - Bios related missions are buggy as hell. - You can find…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →9/10 - The game is fun to play, but there are some small issues that I ran into, but I believe they are only because of translation issues from a non-English speaking developer. Maybe the certain things make sense when translated in some other language, but "changing an IP address of the Printer" was somehow translated into "change the suffix to 0 on the Printer". In English, the "suffix" of an IP address is the subnet mask written in /0 - /32 but that setting isn't available in the Printers,…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is still known RCP patch chord disconnect bug that will completely break your game for future RCP related tasks. (THIS HAS BEEN KNOWN SINCE NOVMEMBER 2025!!!) At any random point a Disconnect Patch chord will pop up on your screen unprompted. DO NOT PRESS IT. Go over to an actual RJ45 and click it, then click patch chord disconnect and it will remove the prompt off your screen. (Discovered all this after looking up what happened) It will disconnect your RCP from what I can only assume…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has tons of promise but in its current state i can't recommend it, for starters figuring out how to interact with the TV in the first few minutes of the game was a challenge in itself, there are major bugs in some of the critical tasks that need you to solve such as booting issues, when you make bootable media and select it in the boot menu it just loops over and over back to the boot menu even selecting the hard drive again makes it go to the boot menu making it so you cannot solve…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like it so far. I would like to see a better procedure manual or help with some of the tasks. Overall definitely recommend for someone who is into IT.

Currently taking Net +, before I got this game to help me better prepare myself and when I first started this before actually diving into the books I did not know how to do this simplified game to a point... NOW, this is awesome! I can fully prepare myself of what I will be doing when it comes to Networking making sure someone has a correct color back round for a desktop that matches there nails for the month. Seriously, the thought put into this game is insane I truly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth the price at all. You are fighting the game to let you do things than actually focusing on the troubleshooting itself. Very clunky. Just build yourself a virtual homelab instead.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played it thinking it was a cool and cozy game. got pissed at users immediately. 10/10

unlabelledView post →GO WORK, GET HOME, GO VIRTUAL WORK It's alright, pretty well made mechanics. Actually using solutions to problems that you would use in real life aswell. Gets pretty boring real fast tho. The tasks get repetetive during the first day already. Didn't play past day 1 though, so I'm guessing the tasks get more diverse. Also experiencing some screen tearing. It's fun for a couple of hours and might actually teach you something if you are really really new to IT.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buggy gameplay. Doesn't detect when tasks are completed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I saw this and just had to give it a try. Admittedly I'm hesitant to try games like this because I don't really expect the simulation to actually provide anything that's that realistic. I don't work in IT, but as something of a tech enthusiast and the person who has generally handled tech support for friends and family I think this is realistic enough to be fun for me. In fact, it's so realistic that when I encounter grayed out or missing options in the properties or BIOS that it leaves me…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a trash heap. In what world does "Please set the printer IP address to the correct range" translate to "set the suffix to 0". I work in IT and I have NO IDEA what the ♥♥♥♥ the task is trying to tell me. In any case, setting the printer IP to one in the range (192.168.10.171-179) it still didn't turn green. Unintuitive, stupid, and overall a terrible representation of working in IT.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game was so realistic that it gave me flash backs to my IT support desk days... I wanted to turn it off instantly. Spent the first day fixing a dim screen and messing with the printer. Had to use the forum pages to figure out what was going on. That felt pretty cool. Spent the remainder of my shift trying to get in the BIOS of one of the computers and for the life of me I could not figure it out. Even tried making a bootable drive to see if that is what was needed. it was not. The end of…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At this moment the game is a little frustrating. Authenticator never seems to work, the prompt to enter the number just never appears. No matter the times you restart the game, close the application, etc. It just never works. Its annoying because the game has potential but at the moment. Would i recommend at the moment? No, if you can't handle the insane amount of bugs Is it worth playing? Yes definitely. Honest opinion. i'd say wait a few months longer maybe when the game is at a more…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just like real life. Fortunately, there are fewer tickets per day in the game than in real life. The only downside is the tickets themselves. They become very repetitive from day 3 onwards. However, as the game is still in early access, I assume that improvements are on the way in this regard.

At one time I thought maby I shoulda picked easy mode but I am happy I sticked with medium. It is fun but also buggy. I completed a task but for some reason the task wouldn't complete and also when I emptied my invetory and left for home the game said I stole from the company.
