11 of 11 · most liked firstIt (2017) is an engaging and atmospheric horror movie, although I honestly wasn't scared at all 🫠. The only thing that got me was one somewhat unexpected jump scare, and that was it. Throughout most of the movie, I laughed so much that at one point it felt like I was watching a comedy. The acting was pretty good. I especially liked the romance between Bill and Beverly, and Richie's jokes - they added some much - needed humor and helped lighten the tense atmosphere 😅. My rating: 8/10…
positive · AI labelView post →Worthwhile in every sense It might be unfair to review this together with the Chapter 2 from 2019, but I don't think they are meant to be watched separately. This is a worthy successor to the 1990 version of this tale. No, I know, Curry isn't in this one, and it is a crying shame, but Bill does an excellent job and so does everyone else on this cast. It is a high-end production of a great story, and more than worthwhile to watch.
