positive · AI labelView post →Speaking of fighting and fish, How To Train Your Dragon 2 was insulting to the audience, including the retcon of dragons only eating fish, the racist casting, the way he's supposed to instantly forgive his mother for abandoning him, and the misinformation about how an "alpha" functions in nature.

neutral · AI labelView post →People are so intentionally obtuse about this. American History X? American Fiction? Yes, the race of certain characters matters, it's a key part of the story. ... but there's no good reason why How to Train Your Dragon 2 had one Black actor who played the villain.
negative · AI labelView post →Oh, that’s a shame. Well, see you all next year for the Cocomelon movie and the live action How to Train Your Dragon 2! After all, Dreamworks can only make peak cinema unlike those bigoted losers at Disney, am I right?

I know June has long been Pixar's traditional release month (along with November), but better to find a spot where a movie can potentially thrive than stubbornly stick to a date that might harm it.

neutral · AI labelView post →I'm confused what Disney is doing. I even pondered recently whether this is a signal the movie might be delayed. But there's no possible place for Hexed to move to, what with Disney's animation schedule being packed in 2027 and Spider-Verse, Shrek and live-action How to Train Your Dragon 2 in June.

Leaving aside how unexpected that is, I learned that Ólafur was in the third film. If Dean DeBlois trusts him, it should say something.
