Less obvious #kdram suspicion: If it were an American show Dr. Yoon's too-much-self-control-for-her-own-good would be portrayed as evil rather than a substantial but normal problem a good person has. Either that would be a quasi-external dragon for her to slay or she would be an unsympathetic villain. Chapeau bas à la Corée.
