Greta Gerwig’s fantasy comedy passed the $1.342billion mark at the global box office on Monday (August 28), beating Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows – Part 2 to become the company’s highest-grossing film ever, not adjusted for inflation. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Barbie is set to become only the 13th movie in history to…

A fight with the snake Nagini was supposed to send Harry Potter flying. And it certainly did that. David Holmes, Daniel Radcliffe’s stunt double, felt the impact, and it hurt. But that was the nature of stunt work. He was always taking a knock, and showing off another bruise. The next day the team came back to perfect the routine. It still wasn’t quite as spectacular as hoped.…

The Hobbit was inexplicably split in 3. Mockingjay was a 2 parter. IT released as chapter 1 and chapter 2. Add to your list Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning which just did the same thing this year. I much prefer a multipart film over a rushed mess. Dune is a great candidate, given that it is adapting almost 1000 pages.

Barbie set several box office records and at 17 days, "Barbie" tied the studio record for the fastest time to hit $1 billion globally, matching 2011's "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2". Incels and conservatives can't beat a good movie, or an interested female audience.
